Horse Gin is named after an old local coal shaft as the owners main house, Castlemain Mill, on the same site was previously the Parkend Deep Navigation Collieries office. With spacious gardens and dog friendly, it is an Ideal relaxing break as a base for walking, bird watching and mountain biking with direct forest access.

Pathwell Farm has 2 dog friendly self catering holiday lets - Ash (sleeps 4) and Oak (sleeps 2 +2 on a sofa bed). Perfect to rent out individually or together for larger groups. Each let has its own enclosed courtyard. There is a designated 2 acre exercise field. Parking for several cars. The Royal Forest of Dean has miles of very scenic footpaths and fantastic bike tracks. Close by are Chepstow, Monmouth, Coleford, Ross on Wye and the Wye Valley - an “Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty”.

In the Forest of Dean, the Old Chapel is situated next to woodland with wonderful walks right on the doorstep. The chapel has been sympathetically restored and retains many original features, character and charm. An abundance of pine cladding on walls and ceilings give a wonderful feeling of warmth and relaxation. The floors are original pine. Candles in the evening and a beast of a woodburner makes this an incredibly relaxing place to be. Something a little bit different.

The Lodge is located adjacent to the A48 for convenient access to Gloucester, Monmouth and Chepstow which are all about 25 minutes away.
