Jacky was an extremely proactive, kind and graceful host. She made us feel right at home immediately and communicated effectively the entire time. She presented us with milk and other amenities upon our arrival and her partner Steve was also extremely friendly and welcoming. The place itself was clean, comfortable and made us feel all at home immediately. Everyone slept incredibly soundly, and Jacky was extremely nice about us coming home late in the night! Otley itself was a lovely, peaceful town and incredible to walk around on a sunny day. We will be coming back when we return to Otley.

A lovely little cottage which was squeaky clean. The bedrooms are downstairs below road level, meaning they are very quiet. I loved all the eco-friendly cleaning products and toilet roll they provided, and the nespresso coffee machine was a lovely touch! Just a 10min walk from the town centre. I would definitely return.

This air bnb is a Gem. We've already booked to come back! Suzanne and Ian are such kind and thoughtful hosts. The flat is so peaceful, clean, warm and comfortable, with lovely views of the garden - it has everything you need. The welcome hamper, milk and eggs are such a lovely welcome touch. The train station, bus stops, lovely walks, pubs, a cafe, and co-op mini supermarket are just a few mins walk away. This is a special find and we can't wait to come back!

We were particularly impressed at your thoughtfulness in leaving a welcome basket. Apart from the initial slight difficulty in access at the gate, once we had the fob, all was well. The showers were really good with a strong flow of water. Also, we were lovely and warm. The private parking was very useful. The flat is situated near the station, restaurants and takeaways and with easy access to the city centre. We would love to stay again should we return to York.

A fantastic place to stay and highly recommend. Perfect location for exploring York which we could do on foot from here. Property extremely clean, lovely and modern and we can’t wait to revisit. From the booking to the final departure, Clare was friendly and professional, the perfect host who made our stay enjoyable and easy. The flat was in a great location. Sainsbury’s is moments away, the city walls are not much further and its lofty position affords a great view. The flat itself is modern, neat and thoughtfully decorated and equipped - and the parking is secure. We loved York, Clare’s flat was the perfect base and Clare was personable and helpful throughout. No hesitation in recommending.

Fantastic place! We are a family of four with a 10 and 13 year old. Whitby, for fossil hunting, it’s just 1 hour away and York 1/2 hour away, the location couldn’t be more perfect. On the way to Whitby you go past moor land so great if you are on a walking holiday. Also the nearby town has great restaurants. We’ll be back!

I can honestly say this is the best air bnb I have stayed in. It is beautifully appointed with everything you could need. The hosts have thought of every detail to make your stay perfect - we couldn't have wished for more.

We went to York for a creative retreat and the house was the perfect backdrop for firing up creativity and imaginative whilst having lots of space to relax in the evenings. Everything was as listed, clean and homely, and any questions were answered promptly. We'd love to stay again!

Me and some of my family stayed here, and it was such a beautiful experience! From having all the right essentials to the amazing cinema room - which was more than utilised - this place had everything we needed. We also had a slight mishap with the temperature on the hot tub which I messaged the hosts about. Even though it was across the bank holiday weekend, I received a prompt response and a set of instructions that did the job in fixing the temperature! The scenery is beautiful with lots of lovely walking routes. Complements to the hosts 😊

As fabulous as expected. Ideal space for two couples, high spec accommodation with lots of room to relax . The kitchen is small if you intend to self cater but the facilities and equipment are excellent. We spent most of the time sat in the dining room watching the peacocks who wandered up to the window each day to be admired. Played tennis and walked into the nearby village along a public footpath 50 mins to a very good pub ( Dawnay Arms ) and evenings in the hot tub . Thoroughly enjoyed it, the host ( Lucy ) is onsite and is welcoming and supportive with communication without any intrusion . No hesitation recommending.

The house is beautiful, very clean, we had everything we needed. It is the nicest and cleanest house we have stayed in on vacation.I would definitely recommend, the area is very beautiful.

There were a few lovely surprises here. The huge shared garden space was a delight. Very peaceful and my dog was delighted to lie in the grass all day. The cafe next door was very pleasant and parking was easy.

We had a great stay. The location was perfect just a short distance from the city centre, with nice view over a small park. The house was clean and the communication for check in/out was clear. Would recommend for a group trip to York!

A great location near the A1, we were travelling North so this was an ideal, and very comfortable and spacious, place to stop enroute. We didn't realise until we got there that there are a great selection of places to eat and shop right on the doorstep too. The off street parking worked really well for us. We'll be back.

Graeme and Gloria’s place is stunning. They are great, friendly hosts, and go above and beyond by providing breakfast and having high quality furnishings and amenities throughout. The place is actually more spacious than it looks on photos, and is in a lovely area, would highly recommended!

This beautiful apartment is just a short walk from the heart of York. We will definitely be staying again.

We have stayed at Theres’s apartment every January for at least 5 years and we love it. Theresa is a wonderful and friendly host and the apartment is amazing! Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful annex fully equipped and everything you need. Area is gorgeous, fantastic walks on the door step. Lots of wild flowers and wildlife. Peace and quiet. John and Lindsay are fabulous hosts. Very helpful with nothing too much trouble. Would highly recommend Goose Lodge!

I think that this was my third stay and I'll be back again. Such a lovely peaceful setting and I always feel right at home. Bex was, as ever, very helpful and friendly in her communication. This is a great stay and great value for money.

Really great stay, apartment was exactly as listed an was perfect for a famil stay over the weekend. The rooms had air con which made a big difference comfort wise. Location was great, an easily walkable into the centre, with great views of York Minster. All instructions and interactions with Rebbeca were great. Would happily recommend this for someone looking to stay!

Marian was a wonderful host, being flexible and giving good instructions. We loved the neighborhood that was very calm and friendly. The apartment was super clean and spacious and the perfect place to relax after sightseeing. We recommend!
