Just a little getaway after Valentine’s Day with my girlfriend and a must say what a gem of a place. Calm and peaceful surroundings with all the amenities you need inside the cottage, Cosy, Clean and beautiful, everything you need for a few days away to take your mind off things. The hot tub is a brilliant place after a long day to chill, relax and take your mind off everything that is going on. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful little place in the not too distant future. 👍

Absolutely beautiful home. Everything you need there and immaculately presented. Great for easy access to local hotspots and walks too. Hot tub was lovely with towels provided. Lots of helpful information and host was really responsive with my questions before arrival. We used for a girls (over 50’s!) weekend but would be perfect for families too.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. We would definitely stay again and will be recommending our families and friends to stay.

The pod was much bigger and much more luxurious thab we had expected. Our hosts had provided a welcome basket with snacks and all the home comforts we could need. The pod and its outside area were private and very clean. Lights came on in the evening which added the most lovely atmosphere. The pod was cosy over night even when the temperature outside dropped. Truly enjoyed our stay and would return in a heartbeat. All communication and check in instructions were clear and easy to follow.

My partner and I had the best couple of nights away at Ash Bank. Great location, with only a short and cheap uber ride into the centre. The house was perfect, interior was incredible and Vanessa provided all the added extra touches to make it so homey. The hot tub in the garden is bonus too! Vanessa is a PERFECT host, fantastic communication and super thoughtful leaving a card and bottles for our anniversary. We will definitely be coming back to stay and making it a regular thing!

From a question before we booked to the morning we pulled away to come home the whole experience was superb. Deborah was super attentive from start to finish but totally respected our privacy. The quality of the finish and detail on the actual building cannot be praised highly enough, the facilities, fittings are to the same exceptionally high standard. Spotlessly clean, modern & everything you need for some time away. The silence, but for the birds singing was beautiful, you get way more for your money than you realise. If you are looking then stop and book, you wont be disappointed 👌

Had such a lovely stay here for the bank holiday weekend. Host was so kind and thoughtful, easily contactable and gave us a lovely welcome pack. Would absolutely recommend this property to others. Very peaceful and the wood fired hot tub was amazing! Snowdon within an easy drive under an hour, Llandudno, Colwyn bay etc. perfect location. Anvil Cottage was the perfect retreat for my partner's birthday! We were looking for a cosy, relaxing weekend getaway and the cottage exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the coziness and thoughtful touches throughout the cottage. It truly felt like a home away from home and the pictures don’t it justice as others have mentioned. The highlight without a doubt was the private hot tub. After a day of exploring the beautiful surrounding area, it was the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The location was ideal: close enough to lots of lovely Welsh Villages where you can find some equally lovely pubs, restaurants and shops, yet secluded enough to feel like a proper escape. Lots of gorgeous walks and scenery to explore. We were thoroughly impressed with the attention to detail and the small touches provided by Helen who was brilliant from start to finish. A truly memorable birthday celebration and we would highly recommend to others.

We had a wonderful stay at the stables! The space was exactly as described—clean, cozy and with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect, close to everything but still quiet enough to relax. Communication with the host was seamless—they were friendly, responsive, and made sure we felt welcome from start to finish. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

We stayed here for a few days whilst visiting. Although we knew the Wirral, we were less familiar with the old village side of Heswall. With beautiful views over the Dee to North Wales, this property is comfortable and well presented, as well as being spotlessly clean. There is a pub literally across the road, and local village shops a few minutes' walk away. There are good walks along the Wirral Way ( a disused railway line) within a few minutes of the house. We lived our stay there and would thoroughly recommend the property and Lisa's hosting.

We had a fabulous few days at Garth Mill. Dan messaged to give us location/check in details & we were also offered an early check in which was perfect. The house is even better than described - pristine and decorated with immaculate taste. The only think I feel would improve it is a larger fridge - but that’s a minor quibble. There is so much history to the house and it is great to see all the old photos dotted about. Dan checked to see we had arrived safely and to make sure we knew he was available for any questions. Would highly recommend!

The downstairs is so well planned, with a lovely kitchen/ conservatory space, and the lounge doors fully open to extend the space if needed. Very airy and spacious, yet snug too! Clever. Front room gets the sun later in day, and sunset views over the field are beautiful. Downstairs bathroom is large and shower is fantastic! Beds are very comfortable and duvet covers etc are soft and good quality, with additional throws and pillows if needed. Upstairs has 2 very good size double bedrooms, plenty of space for luggage and another good bathroom. Several velux windows that can be opened, and the only sound to hear is birds. The kitchen is very well stocked with pans/ utensils etc, central island hob is great for sitting and watching the chef at work! The garden is beautiful, and very private. Wysteria was in full bloom, and all shrubs are well established. Fully fenced in too, so pets can roam without worry. Definitely recommend this beautiful tranquil haven.

A fantastic little place to stay with incredibly helpful owners. It is ideal for a couple to use as a base to explore the local area. It is situated on a quiet road and is equipped with everything you could need for a mini break. Further afield you have access to a whole host of walks across North Wales. We couldn’t have asked for much more.

Great cottage in a brilliant location in the heart of Chester. Would definitely recommend it for a city stay & thank you to Rod for the brilliant comms.

Excellent accommodation, exactly as described. Two well appointed bedrooms with powerful hot showers. We really appreciated the toys, tractor and box of Lego which kept our grandson busy for quite a few hours. Very welcoming hosts, and two lovely labradors who came to say hello. Only a short drive to Loggerheads Country Park for a great walk with lovely scenery.

One of the best holiday cottages we've stayed in. Very clean, cosy and quirky, with loads of thoughtful touches. Well equipped kitchen, lovely welcome hamper, even a tin of biscuits for the dog. We wanted a coastal location with walks from the door, with places to eat and drink nearby, and we got just that. It was also beautifully quiet at night so we slept like logs. Loads to explore nearby by car, train and ferry. Totally recommend a New Brighton break! Thanks Kate. We had a fabulous time. :-)

We had another lovely stay at Dairy cottage. We always really look forward to staying there. It is such a comfy & homely cottage, and Dorothy is a great host. I love how peaceful, quiet and beautiful the area is, but still handily located. Thanks Dorothy!

This is the second time I have booked Ann & Daves place, it is an excellent find. I booked this place for my partner Bradley, who was working away from home for over a week. The hosts were very quick when answering any queries I had, they sent clear instructions on how to find the Airbnb and how to access it, it was easy to find and check in. Plenty of parking for our pickup truck, right outside which is very handy. The Airbnb was really nice, lots of space, very well decorated and furnished, with all amenities needed when staying away from home. The location was quiet, perfect when working long days and you want a good night rest. Would highly recommend. Thank you for hosting Brad 🙃

Perfect location for a catch up with family. Cottage is well equipped and spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed. Kat communicated clear access instructions before our arrival and the visitor’s guide had great recommendations for walks and highlights of the local area. We had a lovely few days, hope we can come back soon!

Overall stay was wonderful. Walkable distances to most of the attractions and pubs.

I find it difficult to write a review of Alan's cottage because it is a lovely gentle quiet undemanding place. Alan is a wonderful host bringing much cheer and happiness and warmth. I enjoyed my stay very much and I would recommend staying to others .

Thank you Chris for your hospitality at Zoo Cottage. We couldn’t have been more delighted with our stay. Location was perfect for our shopping weekend at Cheshire Oaks (10mins away) and the house itself was absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. Lovely furnishings and very smart modern kitchen and bathrooms. We were 5 adults and felt we had plenty of room. Only disappointment was not having the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful space outside..the really lovely quiet and well furnished garden will be a must on our next trip. Chris was a really helpful host and we appreciated the welcome Prosecco too. Couldn’t be improved upon…we won’t consider staying anywhere else for our next trip to the area! Thanks again Chris!

We had a lovely stay seeing family. Was hard to find somewhere big enough for us all to stay local to the village of my family, but this place was perfect. Very spacious, no clutter and extremely private. We are hoping to book again for summer!!!
