It is about a 15 minute drive by SxS to either trail system from the cabin. We provide a map that shows the route we take from the cabin. Come enjoy the peace and beauty Mena offers.

WOLF PEN has 35 miles of trails, and a trailhead is less than 1/2 mile away- ride directly from the cabin, no trailering needed. Relax in the hot tub, unwind by the firepit or on the BBQ pit. Cabin has vaulted ceilings, an open living/kitchen/dining area, and a private king bedroom with full bathroom downstairs. Upstairs is a loft bedroom with two queen beds along with two military grade cots with bedding and private half bath. Large deck with dining area, grilling space, heater. Fire pit areas plus setup for horseshoes. The south trail head is 3/10ths of a mile from the cabins!

It’s close to great hiking trails, swimming holes, and there’s plenty of space on the property to play cornhole and horseshoes. The deck has seating to enjoy the peace and quiet while watching for wildlife. This property is a perfect getaway place!

The Bear Den ATV Friendly

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Wet weather Creek, less than 1 mile to Mena highway frontage. From the cabin thru the creek to CR 50 for ATV access to National forest/Wolfpen Gap trails. Plenty of trailer parking. 3 miles of county road. Then 8 miles of beautiful national forest roads to ride to the wolf pen gap trails. ABSOLUTELY NO RIDING IN FIELD AROUND CABINS !!

Come unplug and relax at our cozy little cabin in the woods. The cabin was originally built, by hand, by our family almost 50 years ago. A few years ago, we had the chance to purchase the cabin again, and have fully remodeled it (all of the work was by those original builders!). It has become our rustic getaway with modern conveniences. We hope you love it as much as our family does!
