My husband and I stayed at the Auction House for two weeks in March while visiting our daughter, son in law and our new grandchild. The location was perfect! We were able to walk to our daughter’s home as well as enjoy downtown Ryde restaurants in the evening. Christine and Terry were great hosts. Their home is very nice, clean and has everything you need to feel at home. We especially loved our welcome treat. We will definitely return to the Auction House in the future.

A great location with an easy walk into Cowes. We loved the view from the sitting room window out to sea and watching the boats and ferries coming and going. The house was just as pictured and described with easy communication from the hosts. Thank you

What a slice of heaven! Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or something family friendly, this beautiful 17th century cottage is perfect. It had all the modern amenities without sacrificing charm or historic touches. We enjoyed the spacious back garden too! Matthew’s check in instructions were so helpful- even including a photo of the parking area right around the corner. We also really appreciated the thorough restaurant recommendations so we could make reservations well in advance and not worry about the added research. Our toddler loved exploring the lovely streets of Beaulieu with us and seeing the docile donkeys and horses. Excellent cafes and restaurants are all within a 2 minute walk. We feel so fortunate to have enjoyed a fantastic extended weekend here. Don’t hesitate to book this!

Centrally located and surprisingly peaceful given this. Parking permits very useful. Deceptively spacious inside with four double bedrooms. Open plan kitchen diner works very well, the kitchen itself being fully equipped. We stayed during the Christmas period and the host was very accommodating. I would very much recommend.

Fantastic property, great location in town centre, but once inside feels like you are in the heart of the countryside. Very well presented with plenty of towels, good linen etc. Host very helpful and friendly.

Excellent, supremely well-appointed cottage that, a bit like Doctor Who's Tardis, is far bigger inside than it looks from the outside. A short walk from the town centre it's an superb place to stay and makes a great base to sample all the delights that Chichester and the surrounding area has to offer. Chris himself was there to meet us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. The interior is outstanding with antique items, books and games in the living area and a fully equipped kitchen. The bedrooms and bathroom are also of the highest quality. An added bonus is the small but delightful back garden. I have no qualms in wholeheartedly recommending this property.

Our group of nine adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alexander's. We did not get to fully experience the locality as we were attending a family wedding. The location was central, yet the location of the property was peaceful. There was plenty of space in the house for our group to be comfortable. There was a plentiful supply of towels, spare blankets, etc. Alex was very quick to respond and extremely helpful and courteous. Thank you, Alex.

We stayed for one night as a large group of friends plus two children and a dog. The house was perfect, all the rooms were very clean with lovely decor. The courtyard garden had a large table for group meals. A bonus was being able to order food/ drinks from the pub next door to our garden (there is a door that opens on to the pub courtyard at the back of the garden). Despite having a very central location in Henley next to a pub, it was fairly quiet overnight and we all slept well in comfy beds. Perfect location to explore centre of Henley, and the river is a few minutes walk away. Emily was a perfect host. She answered every question we had within 20mins and was very helpful with parking/ local area info. We had a non urgent question about the garden lights during the evening and she answered it immediately. We would definitely like to return for another occasion!

We had a great stay in Chichester in this lovely town house. Although it’s right on the road, the road is fairly quiet at night so did not disturb us (we have a baby too!) The house is beautiful and in a fantastic location right on the canal where we enjoyed a lovely evening walk. Tom was a great host and responded quickly to any questions. Would stay again. Thankyou!

Lovely townhouse perfectly situated in the centre of the city. Christina was most helpful and responsive and helped to make our stay very enjoyable. Bath is a beautiful city and this house is the perfect place to stay. Lovely linen on very comfortable beds and everything you could possibly want is provided. Very well equipped kitchen. We had a nice stay. The house is located only 10 minutes walk away from the center with all the nice reviews and bars. It was a little bit too small for 4 adults and 2 kids but overall comfortable enough. Sebastian responded in seconds to all our inquiries. Thank you!

It was a birthday weekend but my daughter also had some urgent shopping. We were able to combine the two with plenty of scope for eating out together, getting to know the City whilst doing the shopping and then a loverly walk up St Catherine's Hill and along the river. A very successful short break.

A beautiful house which is very well presented and spacious. The house is well equipped and felt like home straight away. Our 2 dogs loved having the back garden too and settled in well. It was lovely to arrive to a warm house which was decorated with a lovely Christmas tree ( we had arranged with Beth that we would be arriving after midnight due to a late crossing). A short walk into Cowes town centre. We had one minor issue which was promptly sorted by Beth.. The parking issue was not a problem as we could always park around the corner on the next road. Unloading the car was quite easy as the road is quiet with hardly any traffic. We normally stay in Ventnor or Shanklin. However, we loved our stay so much that we hope to visit again soon. Lovely little house just over the railway line from the city centre. despite this it's an easy walk into town. 10 mins max and very quiet because of that. on site parking which is good for Salisbury. 2-3 decent pubs in striking distance and several Indian/Nepalese restaurants within 5 mins.

We had an amazing 3-night stay at this beautiful garden shed—it was truly perfect in every way. The cabin had absolutely everything you could possibly need, from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and clearly well taken care of. The garden was beautiful and peaceful, with birds singing all day and a serene river flowing right beside the property. It felt incredibly private and secluded—like our own little slice of nature. Inside, the cabin was warm, inviting, and super cosy. For us after 3 days of hard work at a local event, it was the perfect place to unwind. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay—highly recommend and would love to return!

My second time of staying for my partner’s birthday, but this time we stayed for 2 nights as one night wasn’t enough and will be definitely staying again next year.

Stay was lovely home away from home. Can be a little noisy at night as it’s near some pubs and restaurants and the windows are only single glazed but these are things that cannot be changed due to location and type of building, I am used to the silence of the countryside at night so I am more aware of noise than others would be. Overall a great house and we would definitely stay again.
