Dene Cottage is in Callaly, a quiet hamlet in the beautiful Northumberland countryside, 2 miles from the picturesque village of Whittingham and conveniently located between the towns of Alnwick and Rothbury (each 15 mins drive away). Nearest pub 5 miles, restaurant 5 miles, shop 5 miles. Public transport (bus) 2 miles away.

Come and take advantage of beautiful Northumberland unspoiled beaches, historic Borders, Hadrians Wall, Simonside and the Cheviot hills. The cottage is on a working farm within easy reach of Morpeth, a busy market town 5 miles south. The towns of Alnwick ( the castle having featured in the Harry Potter film) and Rothbury are also 20 min away and well worth a visit. Stunning beaches and miles of coastline are only 25 min away.The hosts are only to happy to provide advice and information.

Located in the Northumberland Village of Netherton this 2 bed cottage located within the Northumberland national Park. The cottage was previously owned by the Armstrong family owners of Craigside and Bambrugh Castle. In the past its been a post office and a sweet shop. It is a light open and airy property decorated in a coastal theme. The lounge is upstairs in order to benefit from the views of the estuary; the kitchen is downstairs, patio doors give access to private outside area. Go through the gate and you will find a park by the river.

Sunrise Cottage is a modern and stylish 2 bedroom home. It can accomodate a family of 4 or 2 couples. There are 2 free parking bays available. There are 2 toilets and there is a washing machine. It is situated on the main road into the town. The stairs are steep and the bath/shower is deep so the property would not be recommended for anyone with mobility issues. No stagg or hen parties, no smoking and no pets.
