The five of us and our young dog had a lovely Easter weekend staying at Lisa’s house. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with some wonderful coastal walks nearby to wear us out. The garden was large with plenty for our dog to explore and the house was as described with a modern well equipped kitchen, large lounge with dining area and comfortable beds in bedrooms with plenty of storage. You need to do your research to find pubs and restaurants that allow dogs as they need to be driven to and pre booking is recommended. Our host Lisa was very accommodating and responded to all our questions quickly and helpfully. A visit to the nearby Flamborough Head lighthouse and coastal walk is a must to see the seals on the secluded beach. We would certainly book again.

The house was cosy and very comfortable. It was well equipped and a lovely environment in which to relax after a day's hiking. The interior design features were really special. Very thoughtful provisions for dogs. Loved the gas cooker. Lots of really helpful advice on the area. Information about parking was really useful.

Stayed for 1 night in advance of a university open day. All good for what we needed - easy parking, straight forward drive to the university, helpful host. Thanks very much.

Had a lovely stay in Ripon. The house was just as described, very clean and in a great location, within easy walking distance of the market square, and also for walks along the river. We had no problems parking - only once having to park around the corner rather than outside the property. Would recommend.

Fantastic holiday. Well thought out accommodation with easy access to the town and beach. Close to a lot of attractions. Whitby, Scarborough and Robins hood bay all close by. The little town of Filey is full of lovely restaurants and cafe’s with an arcade and tourist shops, which were great for the kids. Hellen was a fantastic host, quick to respond to messages. Really nice modern 4 bed detached. Excellent location for football ground and local train station. Clean, spacious and all mod cons.

Great few days in this lovely little cottage . Within walking distance of our favourite restaurant (a bit in the dear side but great food ) we walked to the beach around a mile or so from the cottage. John was always quick to respond to any messages via air B&B and also let us know we could get in a little earlier than originally stated. Slight down side can be a little noisy from the road through the village but to be expected due to its position. It didn’t really give us any issues. Full of modern appliances and a modern kitchen. We will definitely be back.

Great house, this was our second visit and so would definitely recommend. A really spacious property, well furnished and equipped, incrrdibly comfortable, and a brilliant location.

Our 3 night stay here was great. Perfect location, supermarket close by and could walk to any attraction easily. Very comfortable and the wine, biscuits and other provisions were much appreciated.

Perfect location, easy to walk to all the best spots in York. Beautiful, charming and spacious apartment for one or two people. I didn’t use the kitchen but it looked well equipped with ample counter space and seating. Bed was very comfy. Would stay here again

We needed a bolthole for an overnight stay in Hull and this was just the ticket! Fantastic location in the Old Town, easy access to city centre. Beautifully decorated with magnificently high ceilings. Gary the owner,et us promptly and orientated us. Perfect for our needs. Had dinner at an amazing local gem - ‘Hearth’ which needs awarding with stars from all the top foodie guides!

Lovely weekend stay in Harrogate - perfect location to walk to the centre and restaurants. Apartment was very clean and cosy, and it was very helpful having the parking permit to park directly out the front. Would highly recommend for any couple wanting to visit Harrogate for a few days.

Excellent place to stay - so convenient for the railway station and very quiet given it’s in the heart of the city. Good value for money and well equipped - feels like a home from home. Great host and great place in a city that we love more each time we visit! Thank you - hope to stay again!

Melisa and Tom’s apartment was perfect for a short girl’s getaway. Fantastic location, next to Waitrose which is handy. It had all the amenities if you wanted to dine at home but we were out for meals anyway. Great spot and communication with the hosts.

The accommodation was just as described clean an well decorated. Close to the harbour an shops , if I needed anything I only had to ask . I would highly recommend this property. So glad I found this on air bnb

We had a great stay at this lovely Airbnb in York! The location was perfect—right in the centre and just a short walk from both the train station and the main sights in town. The place itself was spotlessly clean, well maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were friendly, welcoming, and really accommodating, which made the whole experience even better. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in York!

We stayed with Alison and John for goth weekend in April 2025. The apartment is amazing, there was everything you could ever had needed plus a lovely welcome gift too. The heated mirror in the bathroom was a good surprise! The location was perfect for all the happenings at goth weekend. Would definitely stay again if lucky enough to find it empty 🖤

This lovely apartment had everything we needed for our 3-night stay. Clear instructions to check in, looks just like it does in the photos. The location is great, just minutes to walk into the beautiful city. We would highly recommend.

Fabulous well equipped apartment, clean and comfortable too. Loved the location over looking the marina with so much within a 10 min walk from supermarkets, clothing stores, and a great choice of restaurants yet very quiet indeed. Very responsive and helpful host.

Lovely two bedroom flat in a great location, just 5 mins walk to York Minster. The flat was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped.
