The charming house is conveniently located in the historic part of the village, situated above the lake side road, offering breathtaking views. Due to its location, the apartment is only accessible via STAIRS, and is therefore not suitable for a wheelchair! It is a non-smoking house. Pets are not allowed. NOT SUITED for CHILDREN!

Our house is in the heart of Hallstatt. The famous lake-street is in 1 minute walking distance, yet it is a very silent place to live in. The kitchen is fully equipped. The balcony is a real treat for summer nights viewing the silent lake. There is one master bedroom and and additional bedroom with 2 single beds (bunk bed). There is no need for a vehicle in town since everything is in walking or hiking distance (marketplace, shopping, ossuary of the chatholic church). A TV is available.

Im Sommer sind Wanderungen und der Besuch der Bezirkshauptstadt Murau zu empfehlen.

This apartment, located on the top floor (2nd floor), has a fantastic view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. With only a 2-minute walk into the center of the village, you are close to everything that St. Wolfgang has to offer and the hiking trails start right outside the door. Public parking close by, fee € 8 / 24h or a couple of 100 m away for € 20 / week.

Die Jörgenbauerhütte

Die Jörgenbauerhütte befindet sich auf 1.400 Meter auf der Gammeringalm an der Grenze von Oberösterreich zur Steiermark. Auf den Wiesen um die Hütte weidet im Sommer das Almvieh. Da die Hütte nur über einen privaten Forstweg zu erreichen ist, hört man nur die Glocken der Kühe, die auf der Alm weiden. Im Herbst hört man mitunter das Röhren der Hirsche - sonst nichts.
