The Floyd EcoVillage cabin was the perfect fit for me. I needed a peaceful place to decompress, but wanted to be close to town for restaurants, etc. It was cozy, quiet, comfortable, and convenient--exactly what I needed!

We really enjoyed our weekend stay in Robin's cabin. Check-in was easy, with Robin greeting us and showing us where to park. Our stay was in April and the heater kept the cabin cozy all night. There were plenty of blankets as well. It was great being unplugged for the weekend and we slept well. The bathroom is a quick walk up to the house. While we didn't get to spend much time at the farm during the day, the stars and spring peepers were treats to experience at night. Overall a great stay!

I was there with my family. We all loved the place and would visit again and again.

It has become a tradition for us to come here to celebrate birthdays-as the site is so special and memorable.

So spacious. Plenty of beds to choose from. The hot tub is an added bonus. We felt at home. We would stay at Amanda’s properties again!

This place was our best choice even before we realized there would be a freshly-prepared, multi-course gourmet breakfast. House is as advertised, clean, and well-located. Scott and Lisa are friendly, responsive, and fantastic cooks. Enjoy!

My man and I had a wonderful time having a quiet and private weekend getaway. The place is so cozy and the hosts are so welcoming. It’s a beautiful view off the back porch. One of the highlights of my weekend was getting to spend time with Bilbo the cat. He was so snuggly and gave us a warm welcome as soon as we arrived! Would love to come back here again!

If you are looking for a quiet place far away from all the noise of day to day life, this is a perfect little retreat <3

We had a wonderful time! Very private and everything you need! Short drive to Lynchburg and Bedford. Made it to Sharp Top this time up and it was unforgettable. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cabin!

Tommy and Sheryl were perfect hosts! Sheryl even came to kill a spider which was a big deal for me and my kiddo because I am blind/low vision and my daughter was afraid. I didn't expect that from the host. I just asked for Raid. We also had issues with food and grocery deliveries going to th wrong house. That would be my only criticism - some sort of more visible marking for food deliveries to make the distinction between the Airbnb house vs the larger home; this would have been ideal. However, I just clarified my instructions by food order #2 and sent pics and it all worked out. As far as the property, the gravel was a challenge for me, but still navigable. So, overall, I end with 10 out of 10 and I highly recommend these hosts and the Log Out home! It is super cute and perfect for any individual, couple, or single mom and tween/teen!

We spent our Anniversary in this charming cottage in the peaceful neighborhood very close to everything in Yorktown. The location was perfect and the cottage was very clean and well equipped with everything you would need to be comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our visit!

Our 2nd stay at the tree house and we can’t say enough how special this place is to us. Best airbnb we’ve ever had the pleasure to stay in and we are making a tradition of staying here to celebrate our anniversary and special occasions. Stay here if you get a chance because it is so lovely and peaceful!

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and both times the space has been well-maintained and clean! It’s feels homey and comfortable. The bed is comfortable, as well!

Beautiful home in an amazing setting! The house had everything needed and the property was even better than the photos. Very quiet and private. Host was friendly and responsive. Can’t recommend enough!

I had a wonderful 5-day stay at the Meadow's Edge Cottage. The location is beautiful, with mountain views and gorgeous sunrises/sunsets. Even though it is a tiny house, the cottage has ample space and is very comfortable. Zachary went above and beyond as a host, and I would not hesitate to visit his farm again. Highly recommend!

This was our second time visiting (our last visit was at the smaller hobbit hole) and it was just as charming. Marlan is a great and personable host and the property is clean. The fridge is stocked with essentials, there is coffee and tea, and some other pantry basics. My partner and I visited with our 2 small children and we all had a lovely time. There is a fire pit just outside thats perfect for roasting smores and there's plenty to do within a 30 minute drive. We visited Harrisonburg and the Shenandoah caverns. A lovely stay!

Wonderful place to stay with beautiful access to the river, I am so grateful I was able to spend my weekend here! Ned and Holly were responsive and everything was provided that I needed. Very kid-friendly so I hope to return with my toddler some day :)

Julia's place is an Idyllic setting - so tranquil, yet close enough to a great tavern for dinner. Amazing - we cannot wait to come back.

The listing description was accurate, everything was spotlessly clean, the AC worked perfectly, and check-in was super easy. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable place to stay!

This is the cutest little get away spot ! So peaceful and beautiful! The animals is such a plus there so sweet and kind. We met our host she was so friendly kind and informative about their farm and what they do! I will be back !!!

What a relaxing oasis! It was exactly as described and I enjoyed my time there very much. Despite it being a last-minute booking, my hosts made me feel at home. I'm grateful they've chosen to share their beautiful property.

We recently stayed at this charming home nestled in the woods, and it was an unforgettable experience! The property features a serene pond and a delightful rowboat. The farm is home to goats, chickens, ducks, and the most incredible dog, Buddy, who quickly became our favorite part of the stay. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from arrival. The farm itself is lovely, with many trails and hidden nooks to explore. The area is incredibly peaceful, except for the rooster who likes to greet the morning with his crowing – a charming touch that added to the rustic feel. The home is indeed small, and we were at max capacity with two adults and a child. It was good that we left our dogs at home, as there wouldn't have been enough space for them. The house's interior is beautifully decorated, comfortable, yet simple, providing everything we needed for a cozy stay. Overall, this home is a perfect getaway to unwind & enjoy nature.

Remo is probably the most thorough host we have ever encountered. He has thought of EVERYTHING. We loved the digital and print books with all the instructions. House is completely secluded (still in a mountain “neighborhood” but you can’t see anyone) and quiet. Such a retreat. 30 min drive to town if you need/want anything so consider that. Apparently there is grocery delivery though we did not use it. Lots of great restaurants in Front Royal. Someone else said there was no freezer but there is with ice already in there. Remo also left us coffee, tea, and some snacks. Great stay!
