We had a wonderful long weekend away. The views were amazing. The home is well equipped. We had a lot of fun exploring the area, hiking on trails, banks of the Chesapeake and taking out the kayaks. It was a very relaxing and much needed getaway!

I stayed at Meg's beautiful home with my bridesmaids for my wedding weekend in Deltaville, and it was absolutely perfect! The house is spacious, clean, and well-organized, which made it a comfortable and relaxing place to stay during such a special time. Meg was so kind and responsive, providing helpful local recommendations and detailed instructions for the house. She truly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, and her hospitality made my wedding weekend even better. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience—thank you, Meg!

The home was lovely and well-appointed with everything you could need to enjoy a relaxing stay. The kitchen was well stocked; the outdoor spaces were well designed Raisa was friendly and very responsive.

We loved this snug, little spot on the water. Watching the sunrise over the water made for enjoyable mornings. It had a full kitchen that made cooking our meals very easy. Two seating areas in the living area gave us room to spread out. Fast wifi....I even stayed online while I was down by the water. I wasn't a huge fan of the overly curious swans, but I did find some really nice pieces of sea glass down by the water. The heat in this house was great.

This is an excellent location for a big family getaway to the lake. We loved the big yard and the deck, as well as the dock area to sit. My kids raved about the comfy beds, and the couches made for good sleep too for teens who love to stay up late and chat. Every cooking utensil or appliance imaginable which made cooking for our crew awesome! Thank you for a relaxing stay.

Joyce has done a phenomenal job with this lake house. Everything has been thought through. The house actually looks even better than the pictures. You can tell a lot of thought went into the decor. And it is super clean. The kitchen is fully stacked with everything you would need ant home or away. Ample seasoned fire wood and starter sticks makes using their MASSIVE fire pit a breeze. The best part is she gives you access to both of their docks and you will not have to take your boat or kayak out of the water once. We kayak fished Johnson’s and Lacey’s with ease from her house. 100% coming back to stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! It was the perfect place for our anniversary weekend getaway and also for celebrating my nephew’s 3rd birthday. The house was easy to find and access, and the host went above and beyond by putting up a few birthday decorations and even leaving a sweet little gift for the birthday boy—such a thoughtful touch! The home was very clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything you could need for a short or long stay. It has two spacious bedrooms with easy access to the living room, bathroom, and kitchen. The views of the lake were absolutely beautiful, and we really enjoyed having access to the dock—it was great for swimming, fishing, and just relaxing by the water. The host was very helpful, provided clear instructions, and gave us great recommendations for local dining and activities. Communication was quick and friendly. We felt right at home and would absolutely stay here again when we’re back in the area!

We enjoyed staying at Taby's place, it was very cozy with everything we needed! Taby was quick to respond to any questions that we had, we would love to stay again if we're ever in Virginia.

This historic home was just lovely and decorated so beautifully. It was like stepping back in time. The trails and river were great and a bonus was the beginner mountain bike trails just a half mile down the trail.

As serene as it gets (except Wednesday is the mowing day, but didn’t bother us). Renee is super responsive, which helped a lot. The place is clean and very relaxing, it is remote though, any big city you want to drive to is 1.5-2hr drive. Had fun fishing from the dock, so many catfish there, anyone can catch. Friendly neighbors. Water is on the soft side. Fridge and cupboard had spices and condiments, and a water filter, which was a big plus. Pots and pans need replacing, that’s probably the only negative. Would come back in a heartbeat. Thanks Renee and Ed!

We love staying here! It’s so peaceful, quiet, and calm. The house is always clean and well stocked. Our favorite features are the kayaks/canoe and the private beach access!! Thank you for another wonderful weekend by the water!

This small cottage had what I was looking for in a quiet retreat for a long weekend. I particularly enjoyed the sun room, deck and views of the river. Lots of birds to listen to all day long and stars to view at night. Great river access and I appreciated the kayaks, I highly recommend taking one out on a calm morning! The only drawback was needing to drive a ways to get food or groceries, but Linda did mention that beforehand so good to plan ahead.

I wish I could have stayed longer! The house was beautiful with so many thoughtful touches. Andrew’s place was clean, spacious, and had the most gorgeous views of the water. The highlight of our stay was the outdoor spaces! We loved eating outside on the spacious deck, drinking morning coffee on the lounge chairs, and going for multiple paddles in the provided kayaks and paddle boards. I hope to book again soon!

My wife and I spent a weekend getaway at Alicia’s place. I loved that it was right on the water with a dock to access the lake. The place exceeded our expectations! They pictures were great but it’s even better when you arrive. It was a great mix of modern amenities and rustic cabin. The backyard was also absolutely beautiful with the wide array of landscaping. Alicia was a wonderful and responsive host who made sure we had a great time.

What an unforgettable getaway! This charming cabin is perfectly situated right on the river, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. We were thrilled to find kayaks and a canoe available for our use, making it easy to explore the beautiful surroundings. The fire pit area was a delightful spot to gather in the evenings, and having both gas and charcoal grills made cooking meals a pleasure. We spent our days fishing and relaxing in the hot tub, which was a wonderful way to unwind after our adventures. The cabin's kitchen was impressively equipped with all the utensils and appliances we could possibly need. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The cozy fireplace added a warm ambiance to our evenings, creating the perfect setting to reflect on our day filled with activities. This place truly is a hidden gem! Book now!

Stayed here for half of spring break. Place was clean and had a lot of great amenities. There were a few things that were a little confusing when we checked in but the host responded very quickly and all things were completely resolved. Close to Luray Caverns, workable for some beautiful hikes in Shenandoah, and right on the river. We really enjoyed our time. Would recommend to anyone planning to stay in the area.

We had a very relaxing and pleasant stay. Would recommend to anyone wanting to unplug and enjoy nature. Lot's to do at the site with walking trails, disc golf and a fire pit.

We have enjoyed the “Lighthouse Cove” on our wedding anniversary with our daughter, son-in-law and grandkids for several years. It has always been a great experience and the grandkids (ages six. seven, and 21 months) absolutely love being there. The property is very well kept. I just simply can’t say enough to describe this beautiful house and its location. I’m a chef so I can’t speak to the local restaurants other than there are many choices. Being a chef, you will find almost everything you will need to prepare your meals on site…..and I love that!! Ms Deb and me highly recommend the “Lighthouse Cove” and hope to return for many years! What an amazing place. This is a gem. Tucked in the mountains next to a mountain stream. The location is tranquil, but still close to the main road that will take you to the cute town of Bedford in one direction and is only 5 miles the other direction to the Peaks of Otter and Blue Ridge Parkway. Can't say enough about the cabin and its location. A true 5/5.
