Fantastic place for our annual girls get away! 4 of us girls each had our own place to sleep. Amazing kitchen with everything you need. I loved the open concept with breathtaking views!! I could even keep an eye on my 70 year old Mom who was fishing off the dock while I was busy in the kitchen lol We will definitely be going back ♥️

There are not enough words to say how outstanding the experience was at Caper Landing and with our host Nikki. I don’t know what else could have been provided but a generous basket of gifts including a lobster stuffie and knit swag toque hats for all 10 of us set the scene for all the delights of the place. So many amenities, even fireproof blankets for the fire pit, the spa like bathrooms, the most fully equipped kitchen I had ever seen, all added up to a luxury hotel experience with Airbnb convenience for a large party. Both levels were unbelievably kitted out, with the lower level giving us all we needed in a second gathering space with all the toys including shuffleboard, games, card table and so much more. Two mirrored floors of beds and baths, with two principle suites and two extra full baths meant everyone had privacy and restful retreats. Everything was first class and beyond. We are booking our return for next year! Brava, Nikki, you rock!

Lovely condo. Had everything. Conveniently located. Beautiful view. Several outdoor seating areas which we loved. We would highly recommend this to anyone!

We have been coming to Baddeck for many years, and this time we were fortunate to find Kristine’s place. Everything about the place was perfect—the stunning view, the immaculate house, and most of all Kristine’s wonderful family. They felt like my own by the end of our stay, and we will most definitely be coming back. Kristine thought of every little detail to make us feel at home, from the zillion channel TV to the coffee ready to be perked.

The Pine and the Cedar were amazing cottages to stay at with a group looking to relax!! The property and cottages are just as described and both very beautiful! The property was amazingly kept and very peaceful! We would definitely stay again!

A lovely, modern home with a perfect lake view and access to the water! We really enjoyed the design of the home, with tons of windows (but don't stay here if the thought of things watching you from the woods freaks you out! But nothing is watching you...). The living/kitchen area is open and airy, with sliding patio doors that open toward the lake and a deck. Nice wood-burning fireplace. Very functional kitchen, easy to cook in. Well-separated bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms would make this great for a family (or just 2 people, as we were). Infloor heating is nice. Kayaks and other outdoor things available. No TV, but we were OK with that (and used our computer and the fast internet connection when we wanted to watch something). We had not been to Cape Breton before and liked this location - 10 minutes to Baddeck and about 1.5 hrs. to the south end of Cape Breton Highlands National Park (either west or east coast). Lots of hiking near-by, appreciated the host's ideas on that.

C'est très calme et la nature y est magnifique. J'y retournerais n'importe quand. Merci encore pour tout !

Very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The area is beautiful and quiet. The kayaks are great to paddle around in the calm water, and the fire pit is perfect for cooler evenings. We had numerous cloudy days and no trouble with the solar power. The hosts are very responsive and helpful.

Nikkis Haus ist das perfekte Ferienhaus, bestens und mit vielen schönen Details ausgestattet, man fühlt sich dort sofort wohl, Nikki ist auch eine perfekte Gastgeberin und antwortet unverzüglich auf Anfragen, hatte eine tolle Zeit dort und die Lage direkt am Wasser ist super, man konnte auch Ende Oktober noch schwimmen

Loved everything about the cabin - may need an update for hot plate in kitchen but barbecue worked great. Attention to every detail including farmers matches, little flash lights, & rechargeable night light. We had 2 fabulous campfires, did stargazing & even had a full moon. We also enjoyed several Celtic Colours Festival events!

Our stay at this property was fantastic! The house was spotless, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location on the lake was absolutely stunning, and having kayaks available was a wonderful bonus. It made our trip to Cape Breton and the Cabot Trail even more enjoyable. Communication with the host was seamless, with clear instructions and a thorough description provided. We highly recommend this place and would love to stay again!

A great, peaceful place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Very private. Plenty of parking. Firepit and kayaks are a great touch. Worth the trip off the main highway to stay here.

No better place to stay and not be to far out of Sydney! Definitely won’t be my last stay

Chices, modernes und stimmiges Einzimmerhaus mit grossartigem Blick auf das Wasser , vom Bett aus! Alles da, was man braucht, auch sehr leckerer Kaffee und Tee. Zum Baden hat es gereicht, und zum Kajakfahren oder SUP war leider zu wenig Zeit. Angenehm ruhig, auch wenn es gesamt vier Häuser sind. Frühstück in der Sonne, kurzum wunderbar, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wären gerne länger geblieben. Da hat sich jemand mit viel Liebe einen Traum verwirklicht. Danke!

We had a wonderful stay. It’s a beautiful place tucked away from everything and very peaceful!

We spent two nights in late October and could imagine how great it would be in the summer. It’s right by the water and is fairly private as we couldn’t see any neighbours. The road is hard packed with speed bumps and seems to be well maintained. The cottage has a screened in porch, deck and a heat pump. It would be great for stargazing as there are no bright lights nearby. It is a really lovely place to stay and is only about 9 kilometres from Baddeck. Joanne was a lovely host and greeted us upon arrival.
