This was a large beautiful home with a ton of character. We were in town for a wedding and wanted to stay together as a family instead of at a hotel so we could hang out after putting the kids to bed. This was an awesome house for our situation, having tons of beds/upstairs bedrooms. We were able to fit our entire family and separate the kids from the noise on the main level! We were so grateful to find this place that fit our needs perfectly. It was a very well taken care of place and made our stay work out perfectly!

Perfect for what we needed!

Great location! Loved the space. The most difficult thing was choosing which beautiful bedroom to sleep in! I was very uncertain upon renting that I was renting the entire space. I kept expecting someone else to show up and I'd have to share the common space. It could be made a bit more clear that the price is for the entire loft. That was the only thing that confused me! I loved the place and Storm Lake is a beautiful destination.

What a great place! Plenty of room and well furnished. Spotlessly clean. My 90 year old grandparents were even able to visit and have dinner with us with all the living area on the first floor. The lake was a wonderful backdrop for photos and relaxing to sit and watch the waves. In April it was a bit too chilly to enjoy any watersports!

Bobby was a wonderful host, very friendly and had great stories. The place was nice, comfortable and clean. Bobby was very responsive to any of our needs and very helpful. I would definitely recommend staying there if in that area and if we go back to iowa will be staying with bobby again.

We will be back in the future for another stay!

The barn was a very a very beautiful and restful retreat after a family funeral. The host was very helpful and accommodating with our unique schedule needs. The space is particularly grounding, from the stone tile floor to the horses in the fields and the weeping Willow tree at the front door. The place is filled with peace and quiet comfort.

Second time staying. Love how peaceful it is. Great place to get away from everything, yet close enough to places to eat or shop.
