You're just 2 miles down the road from Five Ponds Wilderness area, with well over a hundred thousand acres of public land. Also, enjoy the ATV and Snowmobile trails. C8 and C5 trails are almost on your doorstep!

Electricity is powered from a propane remote start generator and water is sourced from our rain water collection system. Just minutes from the cabin, you'll find 3 gas station/convenience stores, 2 gift shops, two restaurants, a 9-hole golf course, ATV trails, 3 lakes, hiking trails (w/waterfalls) and so much more!

Hemlock Cabin - cozy and rustic

Unplug and reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape located at the historic Lazy River Playground. You can enjoy an evening fire, walk the nature trails or kayak on the river. The cabin is seasonal with electricity and access to the outdoor bathrooms close by with an open air shower. You will need to bring food and drinking water. You have access to the community fridge, freezer and the charcoal grill. Old time roller skating and mini-golf are available seasonally. Close to SLU

Kitchen, and dining room inside along a bathroom that has a washer and dryer. Access to the river, a dock, amazing fishing off the dock or from Kayak's, paddle boards, a canoe and row boat available. Big yard for outdoor fun, trails to hike on, fire pit at night, fun for everyone!

Take a day and go on the trails and see the water falls in the area. You can also take a day trip to long lake,crandberry lake or even head over to lake placid and to white face mountain. The possibilities are endless. Cabin is off grid but there is a propane heater in cabin and porta potty on property.

There are only 3 cabins on the property, rent the 2 and bring the whole family or just rent 1 and still feel like your secluded. We stay in the 3rd cabin for the season.
