I chose this apartment primarily for its location and security. It was exactly as I’d hoped. Beautiful views of the beach which was also easy to access. Unfortunately the sea was too rough for swimming but great for a bit of fun jumping the waves. Short taxi drive to Senegambia where you’ll find loads of bars and restaurants with varied menus to suit all tastes. Taxis are easy to access and very reasonably priced. Small supermarket a few minutes walk from the apartment. I felt very safe at this apartment. Very friendly security staff 24 hours a day. Bakary was also very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was well kept and equipped with sun beds. The apartment was spacious with all 3 bedrooms with a good en suite. Well equipped kitchen. It was not a problem to us but be aware the apartment is on the third floor with no lift. It does add to the fantastic beach view of course.

Not Only is this place beautiful but the host is very welcoming and understanding! the place is spacious & clean! we really enjoyed this place! i recommended anyone who comes to gambia and is looking to rent to BOOK THIS PLACE ! thank me later!.

I had a wonderful stay at Petit Charlie! Jade was a friendly, available, and incredibly helpful host who made sure everything went smoothly. The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. Check-in was seamless, and Jade even arranged transport, which made things so much easier. I truly appreciated the thoughtful touches and hospitality. I’ll definitely be returning!

Lo que digamos en esta nota se queda corto para describir nuestra experiencia en Gambia y en Tedugal guest house. Ha sido increíble y para nosotros ha resultado un gran descubrimiento ya que no sabíamos casi nada de Gambia. Es un país totalmente recomendable, bonito y con una gente realmente excepcional. En Tedugal nos hemos sentido en todo momento como en casa. Todo ha estado genial, es un sitio tranquilo en el que uno puede descansar y convivir con gente de Gambia. Nosotros teníamos reservada la planta superior y de verdad que era como estar en casa porque teníamos nuestro propio lavabo, nuestra cocina y nuestro salón y todo en perfectas condiciones y si había algún problema lo resolvían al momento. Ademas todo el staff es encantador: Bala el director nos ha atendido en todo momento. Aminata, Sainabou, Rooiyyah y Fatou se encargaban de la cocina y la limpieza y tenemos que decir que son cocineras excepcionales. Yussuf y Pa, trabajadores de Tedugal, siempre amables con nosotros. Y finalmente Edu y Bakary, nuestros compañeros y amigos de viaje, que han estado en todo momento con nosotros y cuidándonos para que estuviésemos lo mejor posible. Estamos enormemente agradecidos a todo el staff de Tedugal por haber hecho que nuestra estancia en Gambia haya sido inolvidable y desde aquí les mandamos un saludo con afecto a todos. What we say in this note falls short to describe our experience in Gambia and in Tedugal guest house. It has been incredible and for us it has been a great discovery since we knew almost nothing of Gambia. It is a totally recommendable country, beautiful and with a really exceptional people. At Tedugal we have felt at home all time. Everything has been great, it is a quiet place where one can rest and live with people from Gambia. We had booked the top floor and really it was like being at home because we had our own bath, our kitchen and our living room and everything in perfect conditions and if there was any problem they would solve it at the moment. Besides all the staff is lovely: Bala the manager has attended us at all time. Aminata, Sainabou, Rooiyyah and Fatou were in charge of the kitchen and the cleaning and we have to say that they are exceptional cooks. Yussuf and Pa, workers of Tedugal, always kind to us. And finally Edu and Bakary, our traveling companions and friends, who have been at all times with us and taking care of us to make it our best. We are extremely grateful to all the staff at Tedugal for making our stay in Gambia unforgettable and from here we send a greeting with affection to everyone.

Imagine, if you will, traveling to a foreign country during a pandemic, arriving at the black of night, hassled by shady immigration officers, and having no local money. Absolute nightmare, but then swoops in the angels of mercy-Lorraine and Roy! They arranged for their driver to collect us from the airport, AND paid for our visa and airport security fee. We did reimburse them. (Note: Bring only British pounds or Gambian dalasi! No cards or USD accepted.) When we arrived at their place, Lorraine brought us food so we wouldn’t starve in the night. Then the next morning, she and Roy both greeted us with big smiles and friendly advice. The place is a dream!!! There is a lovely petite kitchen with all one needs for simple meals, a tiled shower with plenty of hot water, and two clean bedrooms with comfortable beds. The outside space is an oasis. They have created a slice of paradise complete with a large clean swimming pool, lounge areas, an honor bar, and a thatched roof gazebo. Lorraine and Roy are a wealth of information, and they are quite the adventurers. Ask Roy to tell you about their adventures of crossing the desert—before the days of mobile phones, GPS, or roads. Put it this way—you’d be a fool to stay anywhere else!

Wow! Such a beautiful home and setting- smart, clean, spacious. Communicating with Amelia prior to our arrival was easy and she was very accomodating. Buba and Ansum were excellent host support; Buba picked us up from the airport to take us to the house and was also helpful in getting us around and about whilst there, and Ansum, who lives on the site grounds was available 24/7 to asssist with any house queries. We felt super safe and secure at the property with both Buba and Ansum being extremely trustworthy and reilable. My family and I would have no hesitation in coming back to stay there and reccommend it as a perfect family holiday house where you will instantly feel at home. Thank you to all.

Ik kwam heel laat aan in de nacht. De receptie was heel vriendelijk, zelfs op dit uur. Mijn late vertrekuur is ook opgelost geweest met een supplement. Het contact met de eigenaars verliep ten allen tijde snel en duidelijk. Tijdens mijn verblijf wel door bed gevallen, al ben ik niet dik. Maar dit is opgelost door de maintenance van Forest View. Ik, persoonlijk dacht door de foto’s, dat er 2 slaapkamers waren maar hebben bed dan maar gedeeld. Alles was, qua comfort, aanwezig in studio. De sofa is daarentegen aan vervanging toe. Die zit heel oncomfortabel. Zowel leefruimte en slaapkamer is voorzien van airco. Je krijgt op regelmatige basis bezoek van vriendelijke aapjes op je terras die maar al te graag fruit smullen. Gambia kampt met regelmatige stroomonderbrekingen maar er is een reserve generator die dit snel oplost. De buurt zelf is aangenaam met alles vlakbij. Veel last van de uitgangsbuurt heb je niet. Er is een leuk zwembad die gedurende de volledige dag netjes wordt gehouden

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour chez Annick … tout fut parfait ! Du jardin tropical absolument magnifique, à la piscine au bord de laquelle sont installés de confortables transats … et la maison bien évidemment : d’une propreté irréprochable grâce à la précieuse Marie, climatisation très appréciée et très efficace dans les chambres, cuisine parfaitement équipée, salles de bain attenantes à chaque chambre … la maison d’Annick est un vrai petit oasis où il fait bon se reposer, se prélasser et profiter des joies du Sénégal ! Enfin, la communication avec Annick fut fluide et réactive ce qui est très appréciable lorsque l’on est à l’étranger !

Great location, good apartment. Would stay again. Generator comes on as soon as power cuts which is great. Management are friendly and welcoming. Internet was the best and most reliable I’ve used in The Gambia, and the AC was strong. Very secure, and would certainly recommend especially if travelling alone.
