What a wonderful experience. Sarah and Dan were outstanding, always quick to respond and went above and beyond for us. I was blown away by the beautiful decor and thoughtful amenities at Sarah and Dans home. Every detail was perfect. It was a true home away from home. Both Sarah and Dan have been so understating, when work at my property had been delayed. They didn’t falter and quickly ensured we could stay longer. I couldn’t have asked for more, they have both made us feel so welcome in their home. And nothing was too much. The location of their property is beautiful, peaceful and tranquil. Views overlooking the valley are breathtaking. There is literally all you can ask for at this property, no expense spared. This has been the best experience for us, everything was so seamless. I cannot recommend the house enough, stunning. And to top it, the most amazing hosts. Thank you so much Sarah and Dan x

We had a brilliant stay at Primrose Cottage in Upper Cwmbran—absolutely perfect for our little family getaway with our 3-year-old and our dog. The place was unbelievably tidy, with comfy beds and spotless linen. The smart TV was a nice bonus. We loved the sunny front garden—great spot for morning coffee or eating outside and the views are incredible. It’s in a lovely quiet area with super friendly neighbours and just a short walk to two great pub restaurants. There are loads of nearby dog walks, and the boating lake was a real highlight for our 3 year old. It was ideal being close to family, and Barry Island is just an hour away by train, making for a great day out. Honestly couldn’t fault it—would absolutely stay again!

We had a lovely stay Ty Pentref. The house is light and airy, with lots of space. It is full of all the essentials, and then some. A comfy bed, clean kitchen and big sofa. The garden is a lovely suntrap in the afternoon too. Ty Pentref is walking distance to Cwmcarn Forest as well as plenty of other beautiful walks, just on your doorstep. We will definitely be back again!

We stayed here for the Newport marathon and it was just what we needed - great location, easy to get the bus or walk into the city centre, quiet and comfy. Easy to drive out into the countryside to go mountain biking too. Good communication from the friendly hosts too.

We enjoyed staying in this beautiful well equipped property. It was perfect for a base whilst visiting family. Lovely welcome flowers, milk, eggs and honey. A beautiful home to stay in that was versatile for our family of 6 - just perfect thank you! Would highly recommend staying here.

I had a lovely stay here with my brother, my sister and my two dogs. We used it as a base to walk Pen Y Fan and the Four Waterfalls trail. This was the first time staying in an Airbnb which is used as someone's home as well, so a new experience for me. The garden is fully secure so I was really comfortable letting the dogs off the lead. Big Sofas and large TV meant relaxing in the evening was easy. Alan was quick to respond to any messages and helpful in answering any questions we had.

Another fantastic week at Helen’s cottage I truly can’t recommend Helen or her cottage highly enough. I spend a lot of my time travelling for work and living in Airbnb’s and this cottage and location alone with Helen’s has been by far the best one I have had the pleasure of using in a long long time. Thank you Helen for being a fantastic host and allowing me to use your cottage

Mal and Mike’s place was terrific and had everything we needed for our short stay. A quiet and private space in peaceful surroundings. We really appreciated the breakfast items and fruit in the room. If you visit be sure to take a walk along the canal which is 2 minutes away. And we definitely recommend the pizza at the Towpath Inn. A really enjoyable few days.

We stayed at Sarah's as we were watching a show at the Wales Millenium Stadium, and it was fantastic. We could walk from Sarah's to a number of bars and restaurants and then it was a 10 minute stroll along flat, wide pavements from the stadium back to the flat. There was no need to worry about parking or sitting in traffic queues. If you are going to watch something at the stadium I would highly recommend this flat. It was great.

Wat een verborgen parel! We vierden Pasen met ons gezin (2 jonge kinderen) en opa en oma in het prachtig verbouwde koetshuis. Bij aankomst werden we hartelijk ontvangen door Ian, die ons rondleidde. Wat een ruimte! Veel groter dan de foto's doen vermoeden, en schitterend gerenoveerd met oog voor originele details. Het appartement is comfortabel, met hoogwaardige materialen en een luxe uitgeruste keuken—perfect voor onze paasbrunch. De ligging is idyllisch: naast een charmant kerkje waar we spontaan de paasmis bezochten, met uitzicht op de heuvels, paarden en stilte. De kinderen speelden veilig rondom het huis. Avonden brachten we door in het sfeervolle openhaardkamertje beneden—pure gezelligheid! De omgeving biedt volop wandelingen en uitstapjes; wij genoten van Abergavenny, White Castle, Puzzlewood en Cardiff. Echt een plek om op te laden. Twijfel je? Gewoon boeken!

We have just come back from Alison’s flat we stayed while watching the rugby. I just need to say that Alison is possibly the best host we have stayed with on Airbnb . She communicated in a timely friendly and always helpful manner. The flat was spotlessly clean and we will definitely stay again if watching the rugby 👍 Another lovely touch was the welcome hamper with food and drinks

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Liz's and would highly recommend if you're ever in Cardiff. It was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and we made use of it. I was also able to do some work with a desk and good internet connection. it was wonderfully decorated and we found ourselves distracted by all the artwork surrounding us. Liz was a fantastic host and we'd recommend to anyone.

We had a lovely stay here, peaceful tranquil surroundings. The lamb and goat kids were so cute to watch in the evenings. Host also extremely helpful. Lots of good recommendations we didn't have enough time to see them all! Super friendly. Will certainly return again

Lovely little hideaway just outside Cardiff minutes from M4 Great for us and our dogs everything we need just a few steps from a pub not that we went there as visiting family

Such a lovely stay at Lakeside Lodge, the surroundings were beautiful and our host Andrew went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. Stunning lake one side of the lodge and stunning views of the hilly countryside the other (both visible from the view in the hot tub) really could not have asked for anything more for a chilled girls trip. Could have stayed there forever!

I have to come clean - I am an enthusiast of Penarth, the architecture of the town, the community feel, and everything about the place. Sarah's place, being among the oldest houses in the town, was a must for all the things I was looking for. Sarah herself is friendly and has clearly put a lot of herself into the house. My journey time to Penarth could have been subject to delays, being more than 500 miles... but we had good communication and met up without difficulty at the house. All in all, the house was cosy and well appointed. It also was a great base for strolling into Penarth Town centre and even, across the barrage, to Butetown and even Cardiff. I would thoroughly recommend Sara's house for your stay.

First time in Cardiff with my family and what a wonderful place I found for to stay in for 2 nights. The property was exactly as it was shown on the photos with nothing hidden. The location is on a main road which was slightly a downfall with 2 young girls, they have double yellow lines so no parking in front and you have to go through the back to the driveway but besides this there was nothing I could fault on. Beautiful home with very large rooms, more or less every room had its own en-suite. Beautiful decor throughout and the colour combination matched throughout the whole place. Town centre a 7 min drive away and Barry Island 30 min drive. Simon, thank you for everything.

I truly believe David’s home “calls you” when your soul needs peace as well as David’s intuitive advice. I have never stayed at a place where the host is nearby (never mind in the same property) and yet, at David’s house I felt extremely comfortable and safe from the start. The house, amazingly located at the feet of Tor’s grounds, is beautiful inside out. It has everything I needed for a pleasant stay, such as, comfortable beds and linen, as well as, a large family kitchen to cook. Yet, its energy, specially in the living room, and garden grounded and soothed my soul. David, the host, gave us the space and privacy needed when one’s on a break. However, he also was a wonderful listening ear and amazing source of advice. Overall, it was a truly amazing stay and I cannot wait to return soon again.

An excellent weekend was had to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with family. The property had everything we needed and there were few issues. The weather was excellent and our grandchildren loved the hot tub, large gardens, pool table, badminton, table tennis which gave them many hours of enjoyment. There was plenty of opportunity for relaxing with the extensive book shelves and TVs in both properties. An ideal property for a multi generational gathering, very well equipped kitchen/bathrooms with copious crockery, glasses and cooking facilities as well as many towels. Highly recommended.
