Áskot Cottages offer self-catering vacation homes located on a Family run Horse Ranch in South Iceland. This property offers landscape views to Vestamannaeyjar, Eyjafjallajokull and view over a field with the farm´s horses. Each house is provided with a well-equipped kitchenette, dishwasher and a washer/dryer machine. Other facilities include a private bathroom with a walk in shower, free WiFi, private parking and a free private Car Charger beside each house. Áskot is located 7km from route1.

Hekluhestar farm guesthouse

Our guesthouse was built by my parents, with the idea that it would be similar to the viking houses in the old days : a big open space, divided in three parts. It's nothing too fancy, but all basic necessities are here ! You also have access to two extra bathrooms and showers, and a sauna. The farm has horses, sheep, chicken and dogs roaming around ! The accommodation is strategically located, about one hour from Reykjavik, from the black sand beaches of Vik, and from the Golden circle.

Melur Farmhouse

HG-00018814 Bookings require a minimum stay of five nights. Melur is an old farmhouse, built in 1930, but has been renovated in recent years. The house has a quiet and cozy feel about it and is the perfect location to relax and recharge. At the same time it is close to some major attractions in south of Iceland. From Melur you have a unique mountain view with volcanoes Hekla in the north and Eyjafjallajökull in the east - and in the south you can see the Westman Islands rising from the sea.
