Thames offers many attractions: visit museums and mines, walk the bush tracks, swim in the river or up the coast, dine in a diversity of restaurants/cafe's, go to the Saturday market, and ride the rail trail.

Relax on one of the 2 expansive decks, listen to the birds as you enjoy the peace of the surrounding bush-clad hills. Only a 5 minute walk to Tapu beach for a swim and hit chips from the dairy.
