Take a verandah seat to watch the morning mist quietly rise. Observe the abundant wildlife who are happy to call Oro home, or be intoxicated by the afternoon ‘golden hour’. Oro, a place of provision, unfolding beauty, rest and refreshment.

Our fully renovated three bedroom Cottage on the picturesque Maragle Creek provides the perfect location for resting, walking, birdwatching, fishing and platypus viewing. Visit Tumbarumba Rail Trail,Paddy's River Falls, Hume & Hovell Trackheads, Sculpture Trail,Southern Cloud Lookout, Mt Selwyn Snowfield & Upper Murray drives. Modern additions to the Cottage include central heating, wifi, fully equipped new kitchen, BBQ & fire pit. Sadly we can't accept children under 12 yrs of age or hunters.

The Stables - Farm at Freeburgh on Ovens River

With direct, private access to the Great Valley Trail and the Ovens River, The Stables provides luxurious bespoke accommodation and complimentary mountain bikes for your stay. Located on 10 acres, The Stables is an outbuilding to the family home, along with our farm stay, The Barn. Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, only a short 45 minute drive away for hiking & skiing. Horse stays are also an option, with trail riding close by!

Our cosy private solar powered cabin is set on our farm in the picturesque Kiewa Valley. Close to snow fields, the Hume Weir, Kiewa River, and gourmet food and wine regions. Welcome to Bushies Love Shack. The naming of the love shack came about upon purchasing the property some 8 years ago. Fay's father, at the time 90 years of age, and his girlfriend, 91 years of age, automatically named it the Love Shack as they envisaged, once renovated, them sitting in bed, playing cards and taking in the view and so the name stuck. In keeping with the name, we have created a luxurious, romantic space for two.
