Our best winter (Christmas trip) yet! My family & I have been spending Christmas week in Tahoe for years and this home is the first property that we want to come back to again! It is a mixture of the listing is a home and has all the comforts of an actual home. The location is amazing for skiing, dinning, shopping and still being walkable to "backcountry" trails. Lel is an amazing host and her heart to serve is what makes staying there that much better. She really took care of us for some of our winter adventures! As an Airbnb host myself, Lel's place (including her as a host) is the full package!

We spent a few nights at Tom and Margie’s lovely cottage with our dog. The place was just as pictured- adorable, clean, well- appointed. The fenced yard was a favorite - for us and our pup. The location is great and convenient to the lake. Would highly recommend!

Don and Jennifer are friendly and responsive host! They make sure our stay are great and have everything we need. They also help us set up the hot tub so it’s ready for us to use in time. Thanks again for the wonderful stay!!

Peaceful and very pleasant spaces the way the cottage is oriented you are pretty much looking out at the garden/yard and the pool. Awesome host, and both beds are super comfortable.

Perfect place for a ski week! Sarah was very responsive and attentive, and the cabin was private and well-maintained. Could not have asked for a better location.

This place was much bigger than we needed but it allowed pets and that was our main criteria so we could have a long weekend as a family. That said, the place was amazing!! Exactly as pictured and no surprises. Everything was clean but more importantly, everything was comfortable....the upstairs bed had me asleep in minutes. With so many places to sleep, we talked about inviting extended family back some time to skiing at Palisades and staying here... it would be PERFECT! Neighbors are also so very friendly and awesome. Caterina was checking in to make sure we were okay and very responsive to me. Money well spent for a much needed get away to the mountains!

We had an amazing stay at this property! The gorgeous views were absolutely breathtaking, and the location couldn’t be better—super close to the ski slopes while still feeling private and peaceful. The house had everything we needed, making it a comfortable and seamless getaway. One small note—the air from the heater was quite dry, so I’d recommend bringing a small humidifier or using the old trick of placing a pot of water on the stove to add some moisture. Other than that, this place was perfect—the views and location are truly stellar! Would absolutely stay here again.

Greg's place is lovely in it's location and quality of the the cottage - everything is brand new! While it's a nice little getaway into the mountains, you should be warned you should have things to do when you get there, as there is no tv or games in the home yet. This wasn't a problem for us because we brought our laptops, but it's something to note. The town of Markelville was very small and everyone was kind that we encountered. We would stay here again based on how great out stay went.

Reno Roost is the perfect size and location for any visit to Reno! Enjoy easy access to parks, the river, and downtown as well as an easy drive to Lake Tahoe. We stocked up on groceries at the store just a few minutes from the house and enjoyed a cozy evening around the outdoor fire pit. We walked to Idlewild Park and especially enjoyed coffee and breakfast from Hub Coffee Roasters and Hand Craft Coffee Company. Deb provides all of the information you need for an easy & comfortable stay and then some!

Definitely one of my top Airbnb experiences. Dean was our go to contact and he was amazing. Always available and accommodating. That was one of our favorite parts. The other was the cottage was beautiful and the property was even better. Just beautiful. We will definitely be back if we are ever back in the area. Highly recommend.

We love staying here. The house is comfortable and well equipped. There's good food and the lake/beach within walking distance. The hosts are responsive, helpful, and friendly.

Such a cute and cozy place to stay at. This was my first time getting an Airbnb, and Ernie was a fantastic host. Although it wasn’t in the greatest area due to homeless people in the neighborhood, we felt safe staying in the house. This was our family’s first time in Reno, and if we are ever in that area visiting, we would book this place again. The listing was just as pictured, and I liked that the house is so close to everything.

This is a great home base to stay and do winter activities with kids. There's a beachside park in walking distance, along with plenty of food options and a bus stop that takes you all around Tahoe including to Northstar. My toddler loved the backyard in the snow. All the appliances worked, the heater kept the whole house evenly heated, everything was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Lynn was responsive and patient with all my questions. Her place is cozy and in a quiet neighborhood. She contacted me right away when I had an emergency. There are tiny special touches Lynn includes in her home that made our stay comfortable and relaxed. How to come back again!
