This lake house was the perfect getaway! The surroundings were absolutely stunning-peaceful, quiet, & surrounded by nature, making it the ideal place to relax & unwind. The house itself was spotless & well maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the variety of games available, which made for some really fun nights in. Whether enjoying the scenic views outside or spending time indoors, there was always something to do. Our dogs absolutely loved it, too—they had plenty of space to explore and enjoy the fresh air! The hosts were fantastic—proactive & thoughtful, ensuring we had everything we needed. Their attention to detail truly made our stay special. If you’re looking for a clean, beautiful, & peaceful retreat in nature, this is the place to be. Highly recommend and would love to return!

Easy to find, restaurants and shopping minutes away. Very quiet. Plenty of games to enjoy after hours. Tv in every room. Host are VERY responsive.

Williams place was fantastic for our family. It was clean and just the right size for our group of 5, water pressure was strong, kitchen was stocked, and he had a whole cabinet full of games. He spent time on a nice guide that he wrote out. A few of the trails that he recommended, we enjoyed them thoroughly. ! We enjoyed using his kayaks and the fire pit. We visited several springs, which was the purpose of our trip and his place was a great location for that. We went to Royal Springs, Little , and Jennie. We would've gone to Ichetucknee, but it's crazy on a Saturday. We would love to come back ! I recommend that you Bring your bug spray

Comfortable space for a big family with big dogs. The house is really thoughtfully furnished and laid out. You can tell this place is an actual vacation home that Debbie's family really uses and loves, not just a rental.

This home is by far the Pearl of the Suwannee! It has a spectacular view with a beautiful exterior and interior designs. All furnishings and appliances are there and in new condition. This home has everything including watercraft, games, grill, cargo elevator and firepit just to mention a few. Bring your toothbrush and you're set. I've enjoyed the Suwannee River Rest many times and highly recommend it and Capt. Cas is an awesome host!

My family and I had an amazing time in and Theresa's Lodge. It was fully stocked with everything that you need. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was huge and the view and peacefulness was priceless. A lot of great memories were made. We would definitely like to come back one day thank you, Theresa.

What a special place! We had the best time on the river. The house was very clean and had everything we needed! We loved access to the park at the end of the road - we dropped tubes in there and it was about an hour tube ride back to the house. So much fun! We saw otters and so many turtles right from the dock. We will definitely be back!

This was our second stay and we love everything about this spot! It’s a beautiful piece of property with everything you need to sit back and enjoy a weekend away. The host is always incredibly helpful and kind whenever we have had to communicate with them with questions or recommendations. If you’re looking for a place to escape too then you will not be disappointed with this spot! We will certainly be back again as soon as we can!

We had a fantastic time!Everything looked just like the photos. The location is amazing, we went to different springs during the day and cat fished off the dock in the evening. Something to be aware of is the closest store is dollar general and not many places to grab food. We knew that and packed all our food, the kitchen is well stocked and easy to prepare meals there.

Our stay was amazing! Very tranquil and peaceful setting. We were made aware that recent storms had damaged some of the land, and surrounding sight seeing areas. House was comfy, felt like home. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings listening to nature, seeing fireflies, and star gazing. We will definitely go back!!

we write this review with great trepidation and pause... in fear that the next time we want to stay, the site will not be available... We absolutely loved the River Bend Retreat! Secluded? yes. Beautiful? yes. Quiet? The faint sound of the interstate would be heard... but barely. Ammenities? Indeed. More ways to cook than you can shake a stick with. Our dogs stayed off leash the entire time and had plenty of space to roam... and the cleared area around the cabin let us keep an eye on them easily. The wildlife was great, too. Had a half dozen deer come by in the evening for some grazing. The birds were constantly singing... even at night. Thank you chuck-will's-widow. The fire pit let us enjoy the evening... I don't know if this is everyone's cup of tea... bit it sure as heck was ours! We will return. Thank you.

Not enough characters available to describe how wonderful this stay was. Casey was very helpful when we had trouble arriving. The location is a perfect escape from the city life, so peaceful and private. Needless to say, if my friends and I were to stay in the area again, this is the home we would stay at!

Really enjoyed our stay at Sugar Shack! Gwen was an amazing host. Loved cabin’s location on the river- on which we took out our paddle boards. Can’t wait to come back!

We booked Jessica's Cabin for our kids who needed shelter from a hurricane. Jessica was extremely responsive to our questions and immediately accepted our request to book her cabin. While we didn't stay in the cabin ourselves, we heard that it was quaint and, given the circumstances, a lovely place to stay.
