It was great staying at Shirley's. The place is very clean, quiet, and located in a great neighbourhood. The bed is comfortable, and we had some enjoyable chats. I highly recommend Shirley's room.

Staying with Karen was a pleasure, and I felt that | gained a new friend in Karen. The home was cozy and clean, the cats were adorable, and your thoughtful touches made us feel right at home. We appreciated your quick responses and helpful recommendations, very accommodating and provided great local tips. Wi-Fi connection was good, the space was just as described, the beds were comfortable, no trouble with the heating and shower, there were extra blankets and towels ready for our use if needed. Thank you for a great stay. We'd love to stay here again someday!

Richard's place was squeaky clean, loved the detail in there garden was perfect and Beutiful. There hospitality is very welcoming makes you feel right at home. Richard was precise in every detail we needed to know in every step of our 1st timers in Europe from purchasing the right adapters to use for curling iron and charging phones. Explained precisely how to get on the train and how to get out to get to him to drop off our luggage so we can catch the next train to London Victoria where his wife explained how to Enjoy The VE Day 80. May 5 2025. Not a Victory of a party or of any class. it's a Victory of The Great British Nation as a Whole. It was an Honor to have experienced this moment and watching the fly past was Epic. His wife sent us of with a lunch bag to the airport and got us there on time. Thanks again for a Memorable time in London.

It was our most welcome visit ever.Anila and Dan are very loving, open and helpful people . Their homemade food is delicious and Dan took us a whole day around visiting the beautiful gardens. I truly recommend staying with them. You can visit London in an hour by train but then return into the quietness of there loving house.

Wir hatten zu dritt tolle Tage bei Frances. Es gab immer ein kleines, einfaches Frühstück, wobei sich Frances stets nach unseren zeitlichen Wünschen richtete. Sie gab uns hilfreiche Empfehlungen zu Unternehmungen oder Verkehrsverbindungen. Wir durften ihren Garten nutzen und fanden dort einige Momente der Ruhe, aber auch im gemütlichen Zimmer. Frances war sehr diskret, so wie man es sich wünscht, aber stets auch ansprechbar und hilfsbereit. Eine optimale Unterkunft auch für London-Besucher, denn Wimbledon hat eine optimale Verkehrsanbindung. Eine Busstation befindet sich vor dem Haus und ab Wimbledon Station fährt die Underground oder auch diverse, etwas schnelleren Züge. So ist man mit wenigen Minuten Wartezeit und dann in 30-45 Minuten in Zentral in London. Wenn wir wieder nach London reisen, dann gerne wieder zu Frances!

Stefan, Heather and family were lovely hosts. Very relaxed friendly atmosphere. Accommodation was exactly as described and very clean & spacious. They gave very helpful advice when needed eg on restaurants and how to get to places etc. Our first time staying with a family with Airbnb and would not hesitate to do so again based on this experience. It had been my third stay with Geraldine and I have nothing but praise : ) you get your money's worth, the room is comfortable and the area is super peaceful and safe. If you treat the place and the host with respect, you will get it right back! Never had any issue and even during the colder months, there is strong heating (just close the door so the heat doesn't escape) and extra things like a portable heater etc. at your disposal. Location wise it's not completely central, but I think you get the safety of the area in return and from what I experienced, the district line seemed to be one of the more reliable tube lines anyway. Definitely worth every penny!

I stayed a few days in this place , and it was truly a wonderful experience. The host, a lovely lady, made sure everything was perfect during my stay. From the cleanliness of the place to the delicious breakfast she prepared each morning, everything was done with care and attention. Her warm and respectful behavior made me feel completely at home. One of the best parts was the location—the house was right next to a Tube station, which made getting around the city incredibly easy. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Melanie's place. Room and bathroom were well set up and comfortable. Breakfast was available downstairs in the kitchen - much appreciated. Melanie was helpful with suggestions for trains. The house is handily located near Brockley Station.

Shelley and Scott were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and the bed comfy, as well as plenty of hot water in the shower! The walls were a bit thin but it didn’t bother me much. I enjoyed my stay, especially their 2 lovely cats and their dog. As far as location goes, it’s in a quiet area about 10 minutes walk to the train station and then 15 minute ride into London.

I couldn't have asked for a better stay with Colin and Nicola. Communication was excellent and the room really lovely, with some really nice and unexpected sweets, fruit, coffee and tea. Colin and Nicola were super friendly and flexible which made everything very comfortable and easy for me. I 100% recommend this room to anyone looking for a place in the area.

A perfect spot for a short stay and someone who will be out and about in the city. Walkable distance from Greenwich Park. A few shops within 1 mile.

Nous avez été extrêmement ravis de notre séjour chez Beverly et Edward : très belle et grande chambre au 2 étage, la literie et couette très agréables. La maison est typique et magnifiquement rénovée/décorée, l’environnement est très calme tout en étant très proche du centre/la gare. La propreté était parfaite et nos hôtes très chaleureux et communicatifs. Notre séjour a été des plus agréable, et nous reviendrions avec grand plaisir! Merci beaucoup à Beverly et Edward pour leur accueil, leur gentillesse et leur ms conversation. (à noter, accès à la chambre par escalier, donc il ne faut pas avoir de difficulté de déplacement)

I can’t say enough good things about Diana. She was a very warm and gracious host. She allowed me to drop my bags before checking and leave my bags after which was a big plus for me and to top that all off,. She made me a homemade breakfast which was delicious! It is an easy walk to the tube or the bus . There’s a beautiful park right down the way from her home . I felt very safe walking alone, as a solo traveler, this was perfect . If you want to feel like you’re at home,, Diana‘s place is for you. Thank you so much,, Diana, for opening your lovely home to me!

Zane is exceptionally pleasant lady and I felt very comfortable during my stay at her house. Recommend :)

We had a great stay at Tamila's home! The bed was super comfortable and it was really lovely to read a book in the garden while drinking the high quality tea and coffee available. Over time we also learned that there are multiple "shortcuts" to arrive at the place (on foot), such that we could easily reach different parts of the town away from the main road. The apartment is just like described - no surprises there. Everything is clean, and the breakfast provided had high quality products and fruit. Tamila has been helpful and flexible, we arrived a bit earlier than scheduled yet it was no problem for letting us checking in earlier. Highly recommend!

Trish and her daughter were incredibly kind and there is a lot of love in the rooms they provide. Every detail thought of. It was a perfect place to stay as a single woman. The bus to the airport from the top of the road was super helpful with Ubers being so pricey! Would stay again. And very much appreciate the care and love put in! Thank you Trish!

Brilliant place to stay, really easy to find with added bonus of off road parking. Sue and Angela were great hosts and very welcoming. Excellent communication and after arriving earlier than planned Sue made herself available straight away to help sort us out which was really appreciated. Superb facilities with large bedroom and bathroom - all spotlessly clean. Breakfast was perfect for setting us up for the day. Spent two days in central London and found it very easy to walk to either Balham or Tooting Bec tube giving us speedy access to a variety of locations. Highly recommend staying here, Sue and Angela were very supportive not only with their local knowledge but also ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We very much hope to go back if available on our next trip to London.

Merveilleux séjour chez Hazel. Sa maison est charmante et décorée avec soin, le quartier est très agréable, calme, de bonnes adresses alentour et pratique pour rejoindre le centre de Londres. Hazel nous a accueillis chaleureusement et avec beaucoup de simplicité, nous donnant des indications très utiles dans le quartier ou dans Londres. Un grand merci à elle et à sa famille !

As we drove through the double wooden gates, we were in awe by the grandeur of this delightful thatched home with its welcoming Xmas decorations outside and carefully selected decor in every nook. A delicious spread of food awaited us each morning, and we were privy to Chris’s famous orange marmalade. What surprised me was the attention to detail including olives/feta knowing my heritage. A true festive treat was having Xmas crackers on our last morning. Michele’s attention to detail was impeccable. She is such a gem. 💎 However all that aside, what will make our stay forever memorable was our lovely hosts Michele and Chris. We truly loved our conversations each morning. They both created such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. We came in as guests but we have left as friends. We truly hope we come back again. If Airbnb gave awards to the best hosts, Michele and Chris would win hands down. 🏆
