College Hill Cottage is located on College Hill, on the scenic, historic site of Weethee Academy in the heart of the Appalachian region of Ohio. Just 15 miles from Athens, Ohio, enjoy the peace and tranquility of the private, spacious yard relaxing on the large front deck, or the side porch. Plenty of space for relaxing, picnics, or watching the deer, turkeys, birds, and squirrels. Close proximity to Ohio University, Hocking Hills, Lake Hope, and Burr Oak State Parks, and Wayne National Forest.

Hello and welcome to our little neck of the woods in the Hocking Hills. Our Family has devoted so much into this beautiful modern A-frame cabin that is located on our Family Farm. The cabin was built on a base of a hillside that overlooks a beautiful creek that crosses our land, and also overlooks a beautiful 20 acre meadow, that the local wildlife love to enjoy. We hope to provide a space where you can come and unwind and, take in all the natural beauty that the Hocking Hills has to offer.

With every amenity you need, including fast wi-fi, it’s a perfect accommodation when visiting OU, attending music festivals, hiking the hills, or looking for an inspirational writer’s/artist’s retreat. 7 miles from Ohio University. Great for couples and families. Newly renovated A frame cabin in a country/ wooded setting. Cabin comes with a fully equipped kitchen, Washer/ dryer. We offer a smart TV with wifi for entertainment. The cabin is heated and cooled with mini split units, one down stairs and one in each bedroom. Each bedroom also has access to private porch decks. We are pet friendly. WE ARE NOT A BUG FREE ENVIRONMENT. I promise you will see a stinkbug, lady bug or wood beetle.

Cozy Cabin in the Mountains

Cabin has a loft with a full & twin bed. There is a queen bed, full bath and kitchenette (microwave, coffee pot & mini fridge) on main level. Guests are welcome to use outside kitchen which has full fridge, gas, charcoal & flat top grill. There is also tables and outside shower on 15x40’ deck. The fire pit is great on those chilly mountain evenings. 10-20 mins. to historical Belpre, Marietta OH & Parkersburg WVA. Note: There is cell service in cabin but NO wifi. TV is antenna only.

Yellow Dog Barndominium

Our brand new barndominium is a 10 minute drive from Ohio University, yet sits on a 100+ acres in the country. You will find it located near the front of the property, feet away from a 16 acre private water ski lake with beautiful sunset views. Visitors can enjoy hiking, fishing and swimming during their stay. We designed this as a couples retreat, including a 4 person hot tub, but a second bedroom with a full bed and twin trundle can accommodate friends or family who may join you.

Country Getaway

Short drive on the highway from Athens, OH (15 minutes) and Parkersburg, WV(35 minutes). Detached studio apartment located on 25 acres with access to almost 300 acres for walking and fishing(catch and release). Studio apartment has a full kitchen and bathroom, two bed nooks, a chair, and table with four barstools. The space is heated using radiant floor during cool weather and during warm weather cooled by a window unit AC. Owners live about 30ft from rental on the property.

PaPa Cabin

“Winter” at PaPa Cabin be prepared for a different experience. This little house, perched on a cliff, is off the grid, surrounded by forest. A quarter mile walk through the woods leads to the cabin. Bedroom sleeps two on the comfy bed. With only 12 volt (like your car) solar electricity, gas heat, some 12v fans (no AC) it will be an adventure! In the kitchenette, guests will find a propane range top, a fridge, and cooking utensils, bottled water, outside a charcoal grill.

The Clean Slate

The Clean Slate cabin is our version of a perfect place away from home. It is fully furnished and stocked to sleep and entertain up to 6 people. A brand new cabin built on 5 acres with a private driveway. It is located only a short 15-20 minute drive from all main attractions that Hocking Hills region has to offer. This cabin has everything you can think of and more for your perfect friends or family getaway to enjoy, relax and start the next day with a clean slate.

The Creek is an original farmhouse built on a working farm. The entire 2 story home is an airbnb with the bottom repurposed for guests who will enjoy a private stay. Farm and forest wildlife call the more than 40 acres home. There is a beautiful view of the night sky,all the countryside and space available to relax and enjoy pastoral settings. Next to OldUS 33, close to OU campus. Spacious free parking for campers, boats, and outdoor gear. Pet friendly.

The Ledges Cabin at Blue Valley

The Ledges Cabin is a luxury stay that sits on 35 wooded acres filled with sandstone cliffs, caves, flora, and fauna. It has three bedrooms and a pull out couch, a full kitchen, a wood-burning stove, and massive windows with a great view of the Ledges. It also has an eight-seat hot tub, a large deck, firepit, plenty of hiking with beautiful rock outcroppings, and a creek that runs through the middle of the property.
