Please note we allow a maximum of 4 guests including infants we only allow 1 small/medium dog per booking. (Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture)

Ashes Cottage is a beautiful, bright, 17th century farm cottage with picture postcard views from every window. It is cosy, warm and full of modern amenities such as underfloor heating and a log burning stove. From the front door there are footpaths to Staveley village with its selection of pubs, cafes and shops. Only 15 minutes drive to Lake Windermere - it's a fantastic base to explore The Lake District. Afternoons on the patio watching the sheep are highly recommended!

On the ground floor there is a cosy living room with a log burning fire, original floorboards and a window seat, leading through to a dining kitchen with a further log burning fire. To the rear is an outhouse and a detached rear garden. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms with king sized beds and a family bathroom.
