The cottage also has the benefit of having been recently updated throughout.

From the front door there are footpaths to Staveley village with its selection of pubs, cafes and shops. Only 15 minutes drive to Lake Windermere - it's a fantastic base to explore The Lake District. Afternoons on the patio watching the sheep are highly recommended!

This peaceful space is totally self contained and includes a private entrance, hallway, ensuite double room and lounge. Please note there are NO KITCHEN FACILITIES apart from a kettle to make complimentary tea and coffee. 'Hillview' is ideally situated in the beautiful countryside near the River Kent. It is one mile from the village of Staveley, which has shops, cafes and a cosy pub. From the village there is easy access via road, bus or train into the central Lake District.

Fellfoot Cottage in the Lake District

Fellfoot Cottage is a 19th century bobbin mill workers cottage in Staveley at the mouth of the Kentmere Valley, surrounded by stunning scenery. On the ground floor there is a cosy living room with a log burning fire, original floorboards and a window seat, leading through to a dining kitchen with a further log burning fire. To the rear is an outhouse and a detached rear garden. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms with king sized beds and a family bathroom.
