Magical, grade II listed 18th century traditional Lakeland cottage set within 5 acres of woodlands, leading directly to 2 private beaches on Lake Windermere. Relax in a peaceful, natural environment, ideal for friends, families, wild swimmers, cyclists, paddle boarders, hikers and for cosy evenings by the fireplace. Separately charged are a luxurious hot tub, perfect after a hard days hike and a wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower. A tuck shop, art classes and treatments are also available.

Leo’s Hideaway” is a cosy cottage, newly renovated with its own private courtyard space. Tucked away in the center of the vibrant village of Staveley. Directly from the door you can enjoy some of the best walks the Lake District has to offer. Staveley is a gateway to other towns and villages such as Kendal and Windermere via bus or train. Please note we allow a maximum of 4 guests including infants we only allow 1 small/medium dog per booking. (Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture)

The Den is a unique space within the Lake District - a Scandinavian BBQ cabin. A large BBQ pit in the centre to sit around provides a cosy relaxing evening space, and a place to cook! WiFi, Fridge, Microwave, Kettle & Coffee Machine. Bedding provided. Recently upgraded bathroom facilities! Private shower, toilet and sink, exterior but right next to The Den. 8 minutes by car to Windermere, 5 minutes to Kendal. Easy access to a bus stop and cycle lane. Adults only. Sorry but no pets.

From the front door there are footpaths to Staveley village with its selection of pubs, cafes and shops. Only 15 minutes drive to Lake Windermere - it's a fantastic base to explore The Lake District. Afternoons on the patio watching the sheep are highly recommended!

This olde, charming and cosy cottage C.1850 nestles at the foot of the Kent valley in Staveley between Kendal and Windermere in the Lake District National Park. The cottage is an ideal retreat to return to after exploring, with all the main delights of the Lake District in easy reach. Fellfoot Cottage is a 19th century bobbin mill workers cottage in Staveley at the mouth of the Kentmere Valley, surrounded by stunning scenery. On the ground floor there is a cosy living room with a log burning fire, original floorboards and a window seat, leading through to a dining kitchen with a further log burning fire. To the rear is an outhouse and a detached rear garden. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms with king sized beds and a family bathroom.
