Very quiet and peaceful. Off the beaten path and unplugged from reality. We really enjoyed it.

This place is very special, and a unique addition to any trip! Beautifully decorated, very well stocked, and incredibly peaceful and private. We loved using the pizza oven and hot tub, and taking walks on the surrounding trails. I would absolutely recommend to everyone!

We had the most wonderful, peaceful, serene stay at Baboon's View Cabin. We are so grateful, and we will be back!

In der Unterkunft hat man definitiv seine Ruhe! Es liegt abseits der Hauptverkehrsstraße und ist etwas weiter von weiteren Häusern entfernt. Abends kann man so in Ruhe die Aussicht aus der Hot Tub genießen und den Sternenhimmel anschauen.

Lovely location right by the beach with loads of shops and restaurants nearby. The house was lovely and very clean, had all the basics and is surrounded by other residence but still very secluded which we loved. Nolene was very friendly and helpful from beginning to end.

A great place to stay and a great location. Lovely walks along the cliff top, accessible to restaurants and town. The accommodation was spotless and had all we needed for our two night stay. We hope to return!

Good stay, cottage had all the essentials for self catering stays. Marc also provided a clothes airier which was not in the cottage.

We loved the stay at the 'green' cottage. Lea was super friendly and helpful with checkin and any advise on activities to do around the area. Our 2 year old was in heaven listening to the lions roaring from the neighbour's animal sanctuary, after dark. Lea kindly allowed us to drive through their farm to view the Zebra and Eiland, 4x4 probably recommended. The cottage was clean and kitted out for our short stay. A braai under the closed verandah made a rainy night magical. we hope to be back.

Carol was a very gracious host always making sure we were ok and if we needed anything just to let her know .She was open and forth coming .Her place is a little paradise up against the mountain, and very family friendly as there were animals and a pool with pool table and fuse ball for the kids .The chill area is very inviting with lots of seating ,a braai area close to the pool ,with 3 fire places scattered and lots of pretty lighting. The cabin was very comfortable and had all and more than was needed for self catering . She is a thoughtful host and very creative with her decor. I would definitely recommend staying at her place.

We enjoyed a lovely two days at Lika's spot. She was very welcoming and helpful, and was very kind to let us check in earlier than normal because the house was ready for us. Thank you for the lovely, peaceful stay.

A friend and I needed a few days to get away and relax. This was the perfect place for us. Quiet and serene. We enjoyed walking a bit and the swimming pool was so nice on a hot day. The house and kitchen are well set up and the lounge furniture is very comfortable. Great care has been taken to make sure that guests are very comfortable!

Even though the property is in quite a suburban street, the moment you walk through the garden gate you feel you have entered a woodland away from streets and houses. We loved sitting up on the top balcony watching all the bird activity taking place at tops of the milkwood trees. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Beautiful cabin with spectacular views. Hennie was a fantastic host who was very flexible and had fast, responsive communication. The cabin was clean, spacious and homely, with an incredible decking with views across False Bay. Around a 30 minute walk to Gordon’s Bay which was convenient, would definitely stay again next time we’re in South Africa!

The perfect spot for a quick getaway - wonderfully peaceful. Thera was amazing - very friendly and offered local recommendations. Especially loved the small considerations - heating the cabin for our arrival and the welcome chocolates. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time. It is a good location, just in between Stellenbosch and the beach and National Parks, that offer hiking tours. Also, for those who like, great wine tasting opportunities. Thank you very much!

Cosy cabin in a beautiful location. If you're looking for a break from technology and city life, then this cabin is for you.

From booking to checking out this was a pleasure. Mike was informative and communicative. But best of all was the delightful accommodation- so fresh and light, elegant in its stylish simplicity with attention to detail. The kingsize bed was very comfortable, the little open plan kitchen was all we needed, the shower pressure was great and the pops of colour happy-making. We were in Stanford for a wedding weekend and it was a perfect stay over, place to get ready and a welcome ‘home’ to return to in the early morning hours! Just wish we had given ourselves more time to enjoy the mini-courtyard! Bird’s Nest Cottage will definitely be our go-to place next time in Stanford.

This is the perfect cabin for a small family who love nature and want to explore vibrant Hermanus nearby. Selah Holiday Cabin II is a stylish, well-thought out and comfortable small home nestled in a private nature reserve. The estate offers access to a lagoon, beach, tennis courts and pool - perfect for a young, active family. If you're lucky, you may even spot the majestic wild horses that wander along this stretch of coastline. The living space feels bigger than it looks in pictures. It has everything we needed - a practical kitchen, a table to eat at, and a comfy couch. Our son loved the novelty of crawling around the upstairs bedroom. Finding a cupboard with games and books was a lovely surprise. We love that the cabin is a short drive from Hermanus. It means we could easily explore the bustling Hermanus in the morning and then head back to the estate for a relaxing afternoon. We look forward to coming back!

As everyone says the deck is really the most magnificent feature, that view is spectacular and it is beautiful from sun up to sun down. We had a lovely, relaxing stay, we took our kayaks and loved spending time on the lagoon, it was so nice to have such a long stretch to kayak on which feels unusual so close to Cape Town. We enjoyed being able to paddle to the beach and then go for a walk by the sea. The cabin was as described, cosy, simple and comfortable with leather couches and a great layout. Marieke responded quickly to questions and provided detailed info on the house so things felt clear and easy. Thank you Marieke for a lovely stay!
