We stay in Valentine a couple of times a year while seeing friends in Rosebud Reservation. This time was a last-minute visit, and because it was earlier in the year, we couldn't camp and didn't want to stay in a motel. On a whim, I decided to check out AirBNB, and I am so glad I did. This place is SO cute and just what we needed for the night. It is a GREAT place to stay overnight, like we did, and longer for those that are coming to check out the local activities. I would recommend it without hesitation! It is going to be our go-to when we can't camp. Bonus to the hosts for allowing overnights. I know cleaning can be challenging after just one night, but we always try to leave places clean and do as much as we can to show our appreciation for their willingness to allow one-night stays.

My pup and I are so grateful to have found Mardi’s place on our way through South Dakota! Not only was she able to accommodate a same day, late night check-in, but was very communicative about the unit itself. With a living room / bar area, my partner had space to catch up on work while I caught up on sleep 😴 Extremely comfortable, perfect amenities for travelers, considerably quiet for having neighbors, and a very cool use of space: We’d stay again in a heartbeat. Perfect place for our family to stay! Surprised by the kids toys and activities for them and homemade banana bread! The space was perfect for us! So many pillows and blankets! You don’t find a places that have enough and are cozy. This one has it all! Definitely will be recommending!

Perfect location and nice setup of the home.

Good little place to stay in town Platte SD. Better than the local hotels by a long shot and not really much more expensive. All amenities that you need are available. Will stay again next year :).
