This beautiful, relaxing guest space is a self-contained basement apartment with with its own entry stairway from the inside of the garage. Totally remodeled in the summer of 2018, it is complete with a full kitchen and cooking essentials. The host couple occupy the main level of this large ranch home, but the basement is dedicated for guest usage. Guests can come and go through a coded entry door into the garage. Use of the back yard, with all its amenities, is available when pre-arranged

Our Home is a lake house with beachy decor. Just steps out the back door to the lake. Very shallow near our property and sandy bottom. Great for kids. House has 2 stories with the upstairs having a separate entrance with its own living room and kitchen with all appliances. Downstairs has a game room with arcade (60+ games) and dart board. The screened porch has a wicker couch and chairs overlooking the lake. Great place to stay if you’re visiting Notre Dame, only a 25 minute drive.

My place is close to 80/90 Toll -road exit 83-Mishawaka IN. Visit us for events at :Notre Dame/St. Mary's/Bethel college/Holy Cross College. Mileage to ND Campus is 11.4. 15 Minutes to Elkhart Aquatic Center. Approx 20 Min to Four Winds Casino (Via the 20 Bi-pass) This Spring 2021 The Silk was chosen by AIRBNB as the 2d best place to stay in the greater South Bend-Mishawaka area. I close in January and February but re-open in March.
