Casa Mourisca is located in heart of the ancient town of Silves. It is a typical Portuguese townhouse, which hides, behind its beatifull blue front door, a well decorated and comfortable space, an amazing backyard with a plunge pool, sun deck terraces, outdoor kitchen, pergola with a wood table to enjoy outdoor meals. The house inspiration, in terms of décor and architectural features, as a tribute to the mourish roots of silves, were the Morocco riads, with their particular vegetation, pools, patios and different corners and details. You will be suprised!

Some of the Algarve’s most beautiful beaches, such as Praia da Marinha, and the famous Benagil caves are only a 15-20 minutes’ drive away.

It has a NATURAL SWIMMING POOL, swim and relax in the clean swimming area while watching hovering dragonflies, butterflies and all the magic of a natural swimming pool. In 2015 the house was completely renovated with an extension built using straw bales that keeps the house cool in the summer an warm in the winter. Providing two double bedrooms, an open plan kitchen and living room, and a small outside garden with dining area and bbq. Our little house is located in the heart of medieval Silves. Just a couple of minutes walk down cobbled winding streets from the castle, cathedral, and all the bars and restaurants that make Silves such an attractive and vibrant town. Silves is a great place to experience the true Algarve.
