The Coach House will still offer one full family bathroom for guests to share (with sink, loo, shower-over-bath). The new en-suite ‘dressing room’ will contain a sink, toilet and vanity area but it no longer has a separate shower.

In the paddocks we have Highland cows, Hebridean sheep, horses and Norwegian Forrest cats. Our animals are mostly rescued and all of our animals are kept strictly as pets. The estate is surrounded by miles of footpaths/bridleways/bike trails that offer enchanted hikes through old mills, sheep dips, and sunken hedgerow paths, many leading to village pubs ! It is very close to Sherwood Forest, Clumber Park, Hardwick Hall, Chatsworth House, historic Edwinstowe and a great number of other local beauty spots. A short drive away from the peak district, it is very private with its own fully fenced, dog friendly garden. A great short break destination surrounded by some beautiful walking and cycling routes including Route 6 and Sherwood Pines.

Ideal for families, walkers, cyclists, gastro enthusiasts or perhaps those just looking to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, The Barn is a brand new, hand-crafted home built by the architect owner who lives in The Old Farmhouse next door. We also welcome well behaved dogs (we just request a modest fee of £20 per dog per stay)
