Irene’s home is very warm and beautiful, nicely themed house with her life experiences all over the world, it was beautiful chatting with her.A very friendly lady, accommodating me last minute, I was also offered a wonderful humble meal , would stay again in the future!

This is a character room with stunning views. The restaurant attached is well known in the local area for a high standard of food. We enjoyed visiting family and being able to walk back without the need for a taxi.

Beautiful location. Own parking area. Clean tidy rooms. Bathroom had a jacuzzi bath which was a god send after all the walks. Selection of cereal in room along with plenty of tea and coffee and a pint of milk in the fridge. Claire and Robbie were great hosts. Gave us a run down of Castleton and where to go. Friendly banter and made us feel very welcome. They were very responsive to anything we asked. Highly recommend this as a place to stay as it is accessible to so many walks including Mam Tor and Castleton has numerous pubs and restaurants to choose in such a small area so there is always somewhere to have refreshment and nourish after a walking day. My partner and I booked Clare’s place for a quiet stopover after an evening at the Aquasana forest spa and it was perfect for us! Just 10 mins away from it! Self check-in was super handy as we got there a bit later in evening and it was very private and spacious and lovely place to chill out after our day. Lovely place and a great touch with some light breakfast and beverage options included! Amazing value and would recommend to anyone staying in the area!

Great hosts! Wonderful breakfast, perfect and thoughtful local recommendations, very welcoming, cute village location close to all Peak District tourist spots. Would certainly stay here again and recommend to others. Multiple pubs, bakery, and village shops right on the doorstep. Safe, cute, and comfortable place to stay for our Peak District mini break.

Florence's location was just where I needed it to be for a brief, one night stay in Doncaster, and at a very reasonable cost. I did not spend much time at her place, but my room was comfortable enough and Florence was a lovely host. I greatly appreciated both the refrigerator and the fan in the room. Please note, for those like me who might be older - the room I stayed in is on the very top floor (up 3 flights of stairs), the bathroom is down 2 flights of stairs from the room, and the stall shower was not operational during my stay (but the climb-in tub did jhave a hand-held shower unit).

Very pleasant host, willing to help. Some negotiation about our dogs, which was resolved. We particularly liked having our own access door to the annex room. The room had everything required and a very comfy bed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Jonathon and Jane. They were wonderful hosts. The house has so much rustic character with lots of extra touches. Delicious healthy breakfast. We loved the beautiful walks in the nearby countryside. Excellent B&B can highly recommend!

Fantastic location with quick access to some wonderful walks. The room was beautiful, in fact the whole B&B is, with small touches such as a wide selection of drinks, hot and cold, and home made cakes. The breakfast is superb, again with lots of choice.

Comfy bed, hot shower and a friendly reception from Anne and other staff in the tea room made for a perfectly peaceful night away; exactly what we were after. A great location for interesting walks from the door - we walked down the valley to Matlock Bath and then on to Matlock via High Tor. Bonsall itself has plenty to enjoy. Superb service at breakfast - delicious food served quickly. Highly recommend.

Lynn and Pete were fantastic and welcoming hosts! The Old Barn is in a secluded and charming location. Close enough to town (Buxton) and many hikes, but at the end of a little road near fields. Breakfast was a true highlight - Lynn makes an incredible full English breakfast and it was such a pleasure to chat in the mornings. We had a wonderful stay and would love to return some day.

Lesley and Tony are excellent hosts. They were extremely helpful with suggestions wonderfully hospitable. I would gladly return and certainly recommend. The house is lovely and just a short walk from Bakewell - this is very handy as it means (if you're driving), you don't need to drive through Bakewell itself and get stuck in traffic during busy periods. Note that the house is on a fast-moving A road, so be careful when turning in.

Nic was an all round amazing host. Really helpful open communication and great advice on the local surroundings. The rooms were super comfortable and the breakfast offered was delicious, with plenty of options for everyone. Our party had reserved all the rooms, so had the place to ourselves and it was easy to come and go and relax at the dining room table. It was easy to find the place, thanks to the very helpful directions sent by Nic. It was a pleasure to stay there and would recommend it to anyone who asks and is visiting the area.

Had a wedding at Yeldersley Hall and had a great stay here. It’s a quiet place with fantastic views of the Derbyshire countryside. Gurj was so accommodating and breakfast on Sunday morning was delicious! Gurj’s place is very well connected to Derby or Ashbourne. There is a bus route at the end of the road which I found really useful as I don’t have a car. Would definitely stay again.

As we had such a busy weekend we only really slept here .Steve was an excellent host and very communicative. Breakfast looked great but we didn’t have time to partake due to early starts. We never even had a chance to open the door of the sitting room.! The bed was very comfy & we both slept well. The shower/bathroom was lovely and clean.

We had a fabulous stay here, the air bnb is located in the heart of Bakewell right next to a fabulous coffee shop. Sarah and her team went above and beyond to make me and my partner feel welcome, providing us with local knowledge and tips on how to spend our time in the Peak District. Breakfast was plentiful and yummy. Highly recommend!

Jennifer gave me a warm welcome to her lovely home. It was a nice new house tastefully decorated. Jennifer was very thoughtful and helpful - I fully recommend this stay to you.

Le logement de Joanna est très beau et très propre. Elle pense à de nombreuses petites chose utiles en voyage: sèche-cheveux, bouteille d’eau, mouchoirs,… ce qui est très agréable. La cuisine était aussi à disposition. La maison est à 15 minutes à pied de la gare, dans un quartier résidentiel hors du centre-ville.

This place is AMAZING! we were looking for a place that will quiet and relaxed and close to the peak district and we got that and so much more. this new place is just what we needed. everything was so well planned, the room was clean and the bed so comfortable. Marta's food is incredible and they are both so.nice We can't wait for them to open the Yoga Studio they are planning on for when we can come again we really recommend staying here!!!

We stayed with Leanda & Nige for our wedding anniversary, the perfect place to escape to for peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings. They were fabulous hosts, easy to talk to and really helpful. Our room was beautifully decorated and super clean with great views. We were fortunate to have amazing weather during our two night stay so were able to make use of the garden and take in the beautiful surroundings. We especially enjoyed sitting on the settee on the decking early evening watching the wildlife with a g&t. We loved having a fuss with their gorgeous girls; their two friendly cockerpoos. We also enjoyed a filling, tasty breakfast each morning. The local pub is literally a 5minute walk down the road and serves good food. We have no hesitation in recommending Leanda and Nige's B&B and hope to have a return visit soon.

The place is just wow! Spotless big room, a modern bathroom and a pristine kitchen. Like a showroom house. Tracy and her husband are frendly and welcoming. One of my best bookings so far. Will come back again for sure.

Place is very easy to find, enought place for parking in front of the house. Place was clean and warm.
