Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath log cabin is nestled at the foot of the Ouachita Mountains & moments away from great fishing, beautiful hiking trails, Shady Lake, the Ouachita National Forest, etc. The loft features a queen size bed. One bedroom has a full size bed and the other has twin bunk beds. The sofa in the living room makes into a queen size bed, allowing for 8 guests. It is fully stocked & furnished with everything needed to enjoy a getaway at the center of many things Mother Nature has provided.

The History of our Cabin started as Hoss's Country Store where we provided a general store for our community and the guests visiting our beautiful area next to the National Forest. Enjoy the peace of this cozy cabin. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, baking pans, dishes and serving utensils, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, crock pot, blender. We supply coffee etc., salt, pepper. Bath towels, wash clothes, toilet paper and soaps. The beds are made with fresh linens. The covered deck faces the woods where you can enjoy the sound of the river. Cook out on the grill and enjoy a fire in the firepit. Wash your treasures on the outside table.

WOLF PEN has 35 miles of trails, and a trailhead is less than 1/2 mile away- ride directly from the cabin, no trailering needed. Relax in the hot tub, unwind by the firepit or on the BBQ pit. We have a marina store with boat rental, water toys to rent or purchase. Paddle boards, Tubes, knee board, skis, wake board, and etc. I recommend to all the guest before arriving to bring your food and beverage. We are in the woods.
