Wonderful cozy house in a nice peaceful and quiet neighborhood, conveniently located near major highways and easy commute to my company’s headquarters. My family had a nice time living in Lombard for the week.

Tucked along the quiet northern edge of Antioch, this house doesn’t just offer a place to stay - it gives you something to feel. Vaulted ceilings, custom barnwood beds, and raw concrete countertops set the tone: warm, solid, and built with intent. The private beach isn’t flashy - it’s better. Soft sand, still water, and no reason to rush. Grill outside, gather at the big family-style table, then sweat it all out in the sauna that feels like it was made to erase stress. The beds hit the sweet spot between firm and forgiving. Every corner of the place feels curated without being pretentious. Jewel is just up the road if you need supplies, but you’ll quickly forget the outside world exists. And Waylon? The kind of host you rarely get - quick to respond, genuinely helpful, and fully dialed in without hovering. This isn’t just a weekend rental - it’s the kind of place that makes you rethink how you spend your time off. You’ll leave better than you arrived.

The moment we stepped into the house it felt like a home. Very clean and cozy. We had a little trouble with the keypad but that was taken care of very quickly. Quick response from the host. Was able to get a hold of them when we had some questions. The kids loved the game room. Definitely would recommend and stay again if needed!!

We had an absolutely lovely time! We took a family trip and the house was perfect for 6 adults and 5 kids. The beach was super close to walk to. The large house was perfect for everyone to have their own space. The spacious living room/kitchen was a great place to spend family time cooking, playing games, eating, etc where we could all be together but doing separate things. There were plenty of towels for everyone for that many days which surprised me! Inga had thought of everything! There was all the extras you might need too like cooking basics, sunscreen, flashlight, bug spray, beach chairs, toys, umbrellas! And the espresso machine was also a hit with our family! Thank you so much Inga for having us!! We made memories that will last a lifetime in your beautiful home!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. There was so much to do and this was the perfect meeting place for three couples from different states to have a reunion! We had two small children, ages 4 and 6 and there was so much for them to do. Theresa was so thoughtful in the details for this place. From the art studio to the snacks to coffee, we felt right at home! Thank you for a wonderful stay, we can’t wait to come back!!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt bei Jenny. Die Wohnung hatte alles, was man braucht. Man kommt bequem mit den Öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln in die Innenstadt und zum Flughafen. In der Nähe ist ein Supermarkt und die Gegend ist schön und ruhig.

Jessica’s place was great and perfect jumping off point for my family attending my brother’s wedding and other festivities.

Craig was extremely nice and accommodating when it came to my birthday weekend. He responds quickly to all questions asked and makes sure we’re comfortable at all times. This home was clean, accurately described, and had the perfect “home feeling”. Overall, when visiting the area I will be booking here again !

It was a very cozy home! Everything was in great condition. I ended up cooking every night that I was there and found the kitchen to be well stocked and all the appliances worked well. I definitely would stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay. John works hard to offer the best experience to his guests. The place was super clean and welcoming. Photos are matching. Close to everything with UBER. Some restaurants are located in the block. I recommend this appartement.

The bedrooms were spacious with cozy beds, and the living area was perfect for relaxing after exploring the city. Great place with a great location, central to all things in Wicker Park and Bucktown. Easy to get downtown via the blue line and walkable to all bus stops. Matched the photos and description and Vanessa and Charlie were very communicative and helpful.
