Braeburn Bothy is a charming, well-appointed, yet traditional Highland cottage accommodating up to 4 people and set in the heart of Royal Deeside. Just above the small village of Finzean, Braeburn Bothy is situated in one of Aberdeenshire's most picturesque and tranquil locations.
Braeburn Bothy is 24 miles from Balmoral, Scottish holiday home to the Royal Family. The Cairngorms National Park boundary is approximately 8 miles from the Bothy. There are numerous golf courses within 25 minutes' drive, including those at Banchory, Aboyne, Ballater and Stonehaven. The Lecht and Glen Shee skiing areas are within very easy reach. The area offers a huge array of walks, ranging from the gentle to mountaineer standard. Cyclists will find there are hundreds of road and mountain/trail routes available close by. Naturally, the area's reputation for country pursuits such as salmon fishing, shooting and stalking is second to none. With reasonable prior notice and depending on availability and season, all of these can be arranged for guests. The wonderful Finzean Farm Shop and café is two fields away from the Bothy. This serves delicious daytime meals and stocks everything from fresh vegetables, Finzean beef and venison to local cheeses, whisky, beer and wine. With reasonable prior notice, daytime dog-sitting can be arranged.

Self check-in is available if required. Self contained annex with spacious, south facing bedroom with access out to the garden which guests can use. We are 2 minutes walk from the river and can direct you to nearby hills and lochs where scenic walks can be enjoyed. There is a cosy, friendly pub just round the corner which serves lovely home cooked meals all day. They welcome "muddy boots, kids and dogs". We are dog friendly too so please feel free to bring your well behaved dog along.
Bedroom has an en-suite shower room and sauna (available for an extra charge). Bedroom is accessed up 5 wooden steps. The kitchenette has a kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave and basic washing up facility (please note, there is no cooker). It also has a small table and chairs. It is a ten minutes walk into town where you can find a cash point, Co-op supermarket some cafes, shops, chip shop and Indian restaurant.
We are situated on a quiet street but are set back so have very little traffic noise. The back garden overlooks fields and hills and, if we are lucky, has the occasional red squirrel hopping through. We have access to some beautiful walks with Glen Tanar and Loch Kinnord just a short drive away. We will be happy to point you in the direction of our favourite places and have Ordnance Survey maps for guests to borrow.

Light, airy spacious semi-detached cottage was the first to be built in the oldest village in Royal Deeside, Kincardine O’Neil. It's been lovingly refurbished with a warm & welcoming interior, with white walls offset by tasteful furnishings. A spacious kitchen/dining room & L-shaped living room both give way to a lovely south-facing enclosed garden with sitting-out area & lawn. On street parking, oil central heating. 1 pet allowed.
On the ground floor is the living room with patio doors taking you out into the south facing garden. Airy kitchen and dining area including utility room and toilet. Complimentary tea, coffee and sugar along with high chair and children’s dishes & cutlery supplied. Spare room with sofa bed on the ground floor. Upstairs is the bedrooms and bathroom. Bedroom 1 has king size bed, bedroom 2 has 2 single beds which can be made up to a king size bed. As mentioned, Travel Cot is available along with high chair. Pets - 1 dog is allowed and dog blanket and bowl is provided. The cottage is 45 minute drive from Aberdeen / Dyce Airport. There are many great cycle routes all around this area; cycle or walk to the café in Potarch, 2 miles, along a designated route which hugs the majestic River Dee - a magnet for salmon and trout fishing. Excellent walks abound both from the surrounding countryside and two from the village itself, one taking you around the River Dee and the other takes you towards Kincardine Castle. Royal Deeside is famed for sparkling rivers, wooded hillsides and heather clad moors. Ballater is 30 minute drive, where you can head to Loch Muick for a wonderful walk around the loch. Crathie and Braemar 50 minute drive. Within surrounding area there’s some challenging walks up several munros, including Lochnagar, where you may spot deer, ptarmigans and mountain hares, or if you are really lucky, golden eagles. The burn o vat is between Aboyne and Ballater and worth a visit to see the views and waterfall, depending on season.
The local Village Store is great for breakfast rolls or fresh sandwiches made to order. Gem shop which has beautiful jewellery and gifts. Good variety of local walks within the village. Plenty local coffee shops in Aboyne and Banchory, including pubs for lunch or dinner. There’s a large Garden centre called The Raemoir Garden centre with restaurant and cafe in Banchory. Golf courses nearby, Aboyne, Torphins and Banchory. Local supermarkets, Co op in Aboyne or Tesco and Morrison’s in Banchory. Lovely ice cream and chip shop over looking the green in Aboyne. The local Indian restaurant in Aboyne is a favourite with locals, take away also available.

My place is close to Banchory town centre and there are plenty of activities in the local area. The Cowshed restaurant (with amazing takeaway fish and chips) and raemoir garden centre are just a few minutes away on foot. You’ll love my place because of the convenient location and the fact that the property was built only a few years ago. There are lovely views from the bedroom towards the Hill of Fayre. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.
Totally self contained, the space was built in 2015 to a very high specification. There is a fully functional kitchen and an en-suite with under floor heating throughout the apartment.
There is so much to do in Banchory and Royal Deeside that it is impossible to list all of the activities here. Banchory town centre is a c. 20 minute walk and there are loads of walking options from the apartment - we are right on the edge of the town so the countryside is very accessible! The Raemoir Garden centre is worth a visit for breakfast or lunch and they are well stocked with all sorts of seasonal goodies - it is only a short stroll away. The Cow Shed restaurant is equidistant and offers simple fine dining using local produce-they recently started a takeaway fish and chip service which is extremely popular and a good alternative!

Glamping at its best, its not for the 5-star brigade. Den of Allachlade (or Den of Marmalade as we like to call it - long story) has been "mine" (Vicki) since 1993 when I was pregnant with my daughter, Jessica. It has morphed through several stages, survived divorce, accommodated therapy, workshops, all sorts of weird and wonderful events and has seen the transformation of many beautiful folk. It really has a special vibe to it, a Scottish twist on a Laurel Canyon type commune! It somehow manages to be family home, therapy center and base for travelers, professional nomads, volunteers, holidaymakers, spiritual seekers... all in one go. Regular guests are my daughter Jessica when she is home from Glasgow, Kacper, provider of scrumptious food, blogger and intrepid digi nomad. Last but not least Felix the cat. And… my fingers are crossed as I write this, a Mummy deer took rest at the bottom of the garden when giving birth in the summer of 2018 and she and the baby are still regular visitors, it is quite lovely to see them so close. As for me, I am an author - 2nd book coming up! Hypnotherapist, NLP-er, etc, etc. I am an active meditator and Sanyasin. I work mostly from home and as little as possible in Aberdeen :) If you would like to join our motley crew, we take paying guests, part paying guests (house-sitters), karmic yogis and woofers, just get in touch! We do our best to make your stay special without getting in your face - tell us what you need. In the Fairy Penthouse you benefit from being totally detached from the main house and having your own access to the bedroom via the garden. The room has a super comfy double cabin bed and TV. In the nice weather you can lie in bed looking on to the garden and eat dinner on your own wee balcony The shower room and kitchen are downstairs accessed via outside from the drive of the main house. Kitchen has a mini fridge, microwave, 4 plate hob, George Foreman Grill, washing machine (shared with the main house), kettle and toaster. Let me know if you want a table and chairs for outside.
There are river walks a stones throw from the property, and plenty of longer woodland and hill walks and stone circles to see in the area. For the sporty, golf courses abound, and water skiing is about a 5 minute drive away. Alternatively pop along to the new outdoor swimming pool at Stonehaven, a beautiful harbour town along the East coast not far from Dunnotar Castle. In August and September there are several highland games taking place in the area.

    The luxury accommodation of open plan living room and bedroom, with open plan kitchen dining area, and a spacious bathroom, provides excellent facilities for two people. There is also use of a private attractive garden to the rear. Shieling Beag is both tranquil and private, yet just 200 metres from the middle of the charming bustling town where there is a choice of tempting coffee shops serving delicious scones and cakes. There is also a good range of hotels and restaurants which specialise in local produce, beautifully presented meals and contemporary cuisine. Royal Deeside is a stunning setting for a holiday throughout the year. Within a short distance from the apartment you can enjoy wonderful riverside or woodland walks. Fishing can be enjoyed, with a permit for the River Dee or simply at a local fishery. In winter, the Lecht and Glenshee sports facilities are available and the ski slopes are only an hour's drive away. Summer activities at the Lecht include downhill mountain trails for mountain biking.     This Studio is self catering and has it's own seperate entrance to allow more privacy and has off road parking. We are minutes away from a convenience store and short walk away from a Supermarket and the Local Garden Centre where you can get breakfast or lunch. Nearby places within walking distance are the River Dee, Banchory High Street and Crathes Castle. The Studio has a Kingsize bed and a guest bed is available if required. Private entrance and private car parking.
    With this studio having a separate entrance to the main house, guests have more privacy to come and go. The Studio has been done up to accommodate all needs with style and space and is sufficient room for a couple to enjoy and relax.
    Our neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful. The usual light traffic maybe heard, and on occasions such as Guy Fawkes and New Year it is not unusual to hear fireworks.

    Set in the heart of the tranquil village of Aboyne a fully renovated, pink granite built , well lit flat on two levels looks over Aboyne Green . There are castles and whisky trails in abundance within the immediate area.     The space offers a quiet, clean and comfortable stay with perfect access to local walks through Glens and forests , bike rides, the river Dee, the Coo Cathederal and all the local amenities. Please help yourself to continental breakfast downstairs in the kitchen dining area. Please advise of any food intolerance or allergies and I can make provision for this. There are two single rooms available to book also . There is a SHARED upstairs bathroom and downstairs toilet. Note : the shower is in the midst of renovation ! At the moment there is a shower cubicle which is quite confined! If you are broad or very tall and prefer showering then this is not the place for you! There is alternatively, a luxurious long bath ,and reasonably broad , for you to enjoy! Potentially there could be 4 people staying over night , including me in the flat, so 4 of us in total. You will be given your own key so you can come and go at your own leisure. There is space for one bike to be stored inside and two in an outside shed. There is a sun filled potted garden to eat your breakfast in if you would like ! I ! Please note that in order to protect the sound space of my other guests this room is not suitable for children.Also in order to protect the sleep of other guests I ask heavy snorers not to request bookings!
    The neighbourhood is quiet with many historical buildings forming the housing structure . The village is built around the Green with a square central to the shopping area that used to be a station for the railway line from Aberdeen to Ballater.

    Blackness Farmhouse is a traditional cottage still retaining many of its original features. Bathrooms and kitchen have been modernized, open fires replaced for wood burners and carpeting added to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The cottage was our home while we converted the nearby barns into our new house. and although storage was tight for a busy family of 6, we loved our time living there and always felt it would make a perfect holiday home. We hope you enjoy your stay.
    Guests will enjoy full use of the detached farmhouse and its garden for the duration of their stay.
    Blackness is surrounded by beautiful countryside, farmland and forests. The area is well known to local cyclists who make good use of the peaceful pretty lanes . The short drive to Banchory, with all its amenities, takes you over the quaint Bridge of Feugh where visitors gather to watch salmon jump the Falls of Feugh and past Scolty Hill, a local landmark where visitors and locals enjoy walking, cycling and experiencing amazing views over Banchory and the surrounding countryside. Crathes Castle and all its attractions is a ten minutes from the farm and we are also close to Knockburn Loch with all its watersports. Aberdeen is 20 miles east along the South Deeside Road while a trip west takes you to Ballater, Braemar and into the Cairngorm National Park. Aberdeenshire boasts many attractions with its castles, distilleries and stunning coastal and inland scenery. It is a wonderful area for all types of outdoor pursuits, from fly fishing on its famous rivers and gentle walks to fantastic road and mountain biking, hill walking, mountain climbing and skiing.

In the East Annex you benefit from your personal porch with a small table and chairs which opens into a lovely seating area, which leads into the well-equipped kitchen. There's a lovely sunroom with a window-seat, strewn with comfy cushions and the double bedroom has en-suite shower inside on open plan. The window-seat area can work as a make-up single bedroom, and we can also put up a fold-down bed in the porch seating area or you can use the red chaise lounge, however, we have no window covering there, so a no-no for anyone who needs blackout! Please be aware that the main house will be rented out over Winter to guests also, so please be aware of noise levels so as not to disturb other guests.
    Aboyne is a quiet village. Enough so that in the morning it's quite common to see grazing deer in the fields or even in our garden. Have a look at the guide to see the local points of interest (there's way more than in here). It's a great place to come and relax, far away from the hustle and bustle of cities. Aboyne (Scots: Abyne, Scottish Gaelic: Abèidh) is a village on the edge of the Highlands in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, on the River Dee, approximately 26 miles (42 km) west of Aberdeen. It has a swimming pool at Aboyne Academy, all-weather tennis courts, a bowling green and is home to the oldest 18 hole Golf course on Royal Deeside. Aboyne Castle and the Loch of Aboyne are nearby. Outdoor pursuits include golf, walking, cycling, and gliding from the airfield just outside the village. Aboyne has become popular with gliding enthusiasts from Britain and Europe due to its suitable air currents (due to the surrounding terrain). The airfield has two parallel tarmac runways running east-west, a webcam and small weather-monitoring centre on its premises.

  • Tínhamos tudo o que precisávamos e nos sentíamos em casa. Não tínhamos certeza de como passear de transporte público, por isso ficamos agradavelmente surpreendidos ao encontrar os pontos de ônibus em frente! Alguns passeios nas proximidades seriam mais fáceis de acessar de carro, mas encontramos muito para explorar. Nós absolutamente recomendar ficar aqui.

    Once a working water mill, this traditional granite property is now a charming home with bags of character and beautiful views over the fields, forests and hills of Royal Deeside. With direct access to the Tarland Way walking and cycling track, plus hunting and fishing opportunities on its doorstep and skiing at The Lecht and Glenshee less than an hour away, Coull Mill is enviably situated for outdoor enthusiasts all year round.
    The main accommodation comprises: a large double bedroom with king-sized bed and en-suite shower room; a twin-bedded room; a generous second shower room; well-equipped eating kitchen and cosy upstairs sitting room. There is also a delightful cabin in the garden with a double bed and its own WC. Both buildings are insulated to a high standard and the mill benefits from under-floor heating, keeping guests warm and cosy even in the coldest Aberdeenshire winter.

If your stay is in term time, depending on how many guests are living here, myself and my son will be staying up in our converted loft space and would share the living spaces.

We live in the countryside and there are fantastic walks from our back door including the Aboyne to Tarland cycle/walk way which is ideal for walkers, runners, horse riders and cyclists and there are many places for golfing enthusiasts. We are also very near to many mountains including Morven, Press and Dye, Lochnagar and Clachnaben. We are very close to many natural trails such a lochs, rivers, streams, waterfalls, mountain bike trails. The main reasons most people come here are the peace & quiet, stunning views and wildlife. We do have neighbours who live in the converted School and are extremely friendly and kind and can help you if I am not available if issues arise.

    You will be surrounded by beautiful countryside, walks and cycle trails, as well as a great range of eating places and coffee shops. For those of you with children, please be aware that there is no designated play area on site. However there is a nice play park ten minutes away in Banchory and a couple of smaller ones nearby.... but not in walking distance. The village of Banchory is about a ten minute drive. It is a bustling village with shops to browse in as well as a Tesco, Morrison’s and Co-op. Lots to see and do in the area. Lots of choice when it comes to eating out.

The 2nd public room with office facilities & a comfy bed settee & the master bedroom with patio doors are also south- facing.
    The views from this home are unblocked and unrivalled. Hay fields with regular visiting deer and pheasants lead to the River Dee and the hills beyond. The decking area is a superb entertaining space and the garden has a newly built, fairy lit, pergola area to enjoy a fire and a drink in the evening. The main house also has 3 additional self contained units available separately if required for larger group bookings, one which is accessible via a locked door directly from the house please ask for availability.

    Situated in the heart of Royal Deeside, in the village of Aboyne, a detached Victorian House overlooking the Aboyne Green. The house is within walking distance to many amenities including, restaurants, pubs, supermarket, boutique shops, river and woodland walks. There is ample off-street and on-street parking available. Outside of the village is the Cairngorm National Park, Whisky distilleries, Art galleries, Balmoral Estate, Aberdeen City and much more
    A spacious and bright double room with a wardrobe, chest of drawers and television. There is a large shared shower room with WC and basin. The room is situated on the first floor as well as the bathroom. Access will be through the front door of the house, a key will be ready for you on arrival. Four small dogs live at the property. They are extremely friendly. Although every effort is made to keep to property in top condition allergy sufferers should be aware. Property is occupied by three friendly people (Brother and two Sisters) on a permanent basis. Parking off-street can be discussed upon arrival.
    Aboyne has many thriving small businesses. The village boasts a renowned family-run delicatessen 'Strachans of Royal Deeside', a coffee shop listed in many Scottish coffee guide books, 'Spider on the Bicycle'. Also, a riverside pub/restaurant called 'The Boat Inn'. A post office, gift shop with an adjoining cafe, 'The Corner House', Pet shop, Pharmacy, Flower Shop, Cafe/Eataree, 'At The Sign Of The Blackface Sheep', 2 ATM/Cash machines, 'Dinnie's Fish & Chip Shop". A children's park is close by as the property is centrally located you will find that everything is easily accessible during your stay.

The private guest suite has its own entrance, en-suite bedroom & living area with Smart TV, WiFi & open fire. Ideal for sport, history & nature enthusiasts, it offers a quiet retreat close to Aberdeen Airport, Balmoral Castle, Cairngorm National Park & ski slopes. Within the communal garden area there is a hot tub commanding spectacular views, a hammock & fire pit. Self check-in available on request.
    *Guidance for Guests on Covid-19* We understand these are uncertain times and wish to give guests confidence in the measures we are taking to minimise the risk surrounding the spread of the Coronavirus in accordance with government, WHO, NHS & AirBNB guidelines plus some old-fashioned common sense. These include: • disinfecting frequently touched surfaces (e.g. light switches, door/drawer handles & TV remote) • regular hand washing with soap and water • providing 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel per guest • ensuring there is at least 72 hours between bookings and no more than 4 a month • ventilating the guest suite between occupancy • requesting anyone with symptoms not to travel & self-isolate for 14 days • providing a flexible cancellation policy You will occupy a private suite in the east wing of our property in a quiet rural spot in the country, surrounded only by fields. Whether you enjoy scenic rural walks, skiing, cycling, fishing, kayaking, a day on the slopes, exploring local attractions or a cosy evening by an open fire, our tranquil retreat offers the perfect escape for a short break. Return after a busy day and spend an evening star gazing from our hot tub as you sip on a glass of bubbly and listen to the log fire crackling in the background or laze in our 2 person hammock! The suite forms a part of our family home where a warm welcome awaits. While guests have exclusive use of it when in residence there are personal photos on display. You may also come across our 2 teenage sons, 2 friendly cats and elderly ‘sled’ dog! We relocated to Aberdeenshire 10 years ago in pursuit of a quiet life in the countryside and we are delighted to share our peaceful haven. Guests are very welcome to make use of our outdoor FIRE PIT for toasting marshmallows (see photos) as well as our BBQ and garden furniture for outdoor dining. Please specify when booking if either are of interest, so that we can ensure they are prepared for use. Please note there is a BBQ fee of £5 per use for charcoal and cleaning, payable on arrival. Our primary aim is your comfort and enjoyment. Not only do we offer the luxury of a king size superior sprung mattress with Egyptian cotton linen and towels, we also pride ourselves on cleanliness, being frequent AirBNB users ourselves. We also like to keep things simple - no pricing gimmicks or tricks - our nightly price remains the same throughout the year regardless of school holiday dates or season! Note there is NO KITCHEN, but tea/coffee making facilities are available and there is a fridge in the summer house should guests wish to store beverages or meat for the BBQ. A simple breakfast is provided consisting of fresh fruit and cereal in order that guests can enjoy these to their own schedule. There are also cafés opening early in nearby villages of Lumphanan and Dess offering a cooked breakfast. A list is available in the suite of all the local eateries, supermarkets, walks etc along with tips and leaflets on the many attractions in the area. Storage space is available for sports equipment in our summer house, as well as off street parking. Table and chairs are available for a laptop, breakfast or the enjoyment of a take-away meal.     We live in a peaceful, rural neighbourhood surrounded by farmland and cattle. Our neighbours include cows, sheep, red squirrels, pheasant and deer! There are plentiful walking and cycling routes on our doorstep including the Deeside Way, which follows the beautiful River Dee from Aberdeen to Ballater. We are also just 45 minutes from beaches, ski slopes, the Cairngorm National Park, Lochnagar Distillery & Balmoral Castle among many other visitor attractions. There’s a shop in our local village of Lumphanan just over a mile away. 1.5 miles in the opposite direction is the Deeside Activity Park where you can have a go at quad biking, archery, fishing and go-karting. There are also several walks you can take from it, including the stunning Falls of Dess. We are 5 minutes from Torphins, 10 minutes from Aboyne and 15 minutes from Banchory all of which have supermarkets, cafés and pubs. In Tarland, just 10 miles away, there is an indoor spa with swimming pool and gymnasium. It costs £10 for a day pass.     Set in the heart of the tranquil village of Aboyne a fully renovated, pink granite built , well lit flat on two levels looks over Aboyne Green . There are castles and whisky trails in abundance within the immediate area. Easy access to walks and bike trails.Festivals and Highland Games every other week in the summer.
    This is a spacious, bright room with fitted wardrobe and a full length mirror and wardrobes. The bed , according to my guests , is very comfortable and big! The situation of the house offers perfect access to local walks through glens and forests , bike rides, the river Dee, the Coo Cathederal and all the local amenities. Please help yourself to continental breakfast downstairs in the kitchen dining area. Please advise of any food intolerance or allergies and I can make provision for this. There is a single room and another double room . Potentially there could be 5 people staying over night , including me in the flat, so 6 of us in total! There is a SHARED upstairs bathroom and downstairs toilet. Note : the shower is in the midst of renovation ! At the moment there is a shower cubicle which is quite confined! If you are broad or very tall and prefer showering then this is not the place for you! There is alternatively, a luxurious long bath ,and reasonably broad , for you to enjoy! You will be given your own key so you can come and go at your own leisure. There is space for one bike to be stored inside and two in an outside shed. There is a sun filled potted garden to eat your breakfast in if you would like ! ! Please note that in order to protect the sound space of my other guests this room is not suitable for children. Also in order to protect the sleep of other guests I ask heavy snorers not to request bookings!
    The neighbourhood is quiet with many historical buildings forming the housing structure . The village is built around the Green with a square central to the shopping area that used to be a station for the railway line from Aberdeen to Ballater.

    Cute & quirky self-contained studio offering a peaceful retreat close to great hikes. It has a comfy double and the floor space is tiny with only 2 chairs at the table inside. The wet room is small & kitchen facilities basic but idyllically beautiful, quiet & peaceful. t really depends on what you want, but there are few places this serene and peaceful and with your own area of decking and outdoor dining. You are also welcome to enjoy my garden.
    Den of Allachlade (or Den of Marmalade as we like to call it - long story) has been "mine" (Vicki) since 1993 when I was pregnant with my daughter, Jessica. It has morphed through several stages, survived divorce, accommodated therapy, workshops, all sorts of weird and wonderful events and has seen the transformation of many beautiful folk. It really has a special vibe to it, a Scottish twist on a Laurel Canyon type commune! It somehow manages to be family home, therapy center and base for travelers, professional nomads, volunteers, holidaymakers, spiritual seekers... all in one go. Regular guests are my daughter Jessica when she is home from Glasgow, Kacper, provider of scrumptious food, blogger and intrepid digi nomad, and… my fingers are crossed as I write this, a Mummy deer took rest at the bottom of the garden when giving birth in the summer of 2018 and she and the baby are still regular visitors, it is quite lovely to see them so close. As for me, I am an author - 2nd book coming up! Hypnotherapist, NLP-er, etc, etc. I am an active meditator and Sanyasin. I work mostly from home and as little as possible in Aberdeen :) If you would like to join our motley crew, we take paying guests, part paying guests (house-sitters), karmic yogis and woofers, just get in touch! When we are at home, we love to provide therapy and teaching as optional extras go ahead and enquire if you’d like to know more. We do our best to make your stay special without getting in your face - tell us what you need. In the Garden Studio you benefit from being the most southerly facing room giving you a feeling of total detachment with only the hills to look back at you. You have your own access via the garden. The room has a super comfy double cabin bed and TV. In the nice weather you can lie in bed looking out and eat dinner on your own area of decking. The wet room is very small but sufficient as a basic shower and toilet and kitchenette just manages to squeeze everything in that you need to cook a proper meal.
    Aboyne (Scots: Abyne, Scottish Gaelic: Abèidh) is a village on the edge of the Highlands in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, on the River Dee, approximately 26 miles (42 km) west of Aberdeen. It has a swimming pool at Aboyne Academy, all-weather tennis courts, a bowling green and is home to the oldest 18 hole Golf course on Royal Deeside. Aboyne Castle and the Loch of Aboyne are nearby. Outdoor pursuits include golf, walking, cycling, and gliding from the airfield just outside the village. Aboyne has become popular with gliding enthusiasts from Britain and Europe due to its suitable air currents (due to the surrounding terrain). The airfield has two parallel tarmac runways running east-west, a webcam and small weather-monitoring centre on its premises.
  • Tivemos uma estadia encantadora no pequeno estúdio de jardim. foi perfeito para o nosso fim de semana fora e tinha tudo o que precisávamos. a vista para o cairngorms é adorável, e houve muitos passeios agradáveis nas proximidades - recomendamos o círculo de pedras em pé, o burn the cuba e o parque nacional glen tanar. há também uma casa de terra nas proximidades da idade do bronze para a qual você pode dirigir e entrar. Estávamos um pouco desapontados com os folhetos locais de coisas para fazer nas proximidades, fornecidos no estúdio - os folhetos eram todos muito antigos e também de coisas que ficavam no norte, acabamos adicionando os nossos encontrados em um pub local.   • O estúdio do Garden era um lugar agradável, confortável e tranquilo para passar a noite. Adorei o estilo do estúdio, o terraço e a vista. Foi ótimo fechar as cortinas pela manhã (depois de um descanso muito bom) e deixar a luz entrar e ver os campos e as colinas arborizadas. Era um espaço apertado, mas isso estava claro na descrição e achei muito aconchegante. Eu definitivamente voltaria e ficaria por mais de uma noite :)

A quitinete era muito menor do que esperávamos (provavelmente porque não tínhamos lido todas as informações fornecidas na lista), um pouco pequena demais para cozinhar qualquer coisa, mas, de outro modo, um lugar perfeito para ficar para explorar os Cairngorms!

Activities close at hand include walking, fishing, golf, swimming and even gliding. In the winter, skiing at the Lecht or Glenshee is readily accessible. In the surrounding area there are many gardens and castles to visit, including Balmoral. The choice of restaurants nearby ranges from village pubs to gourmet dining. Shops and pubs 500 yards.

    The flat is conveniently placed in the heart of Banchory. Situated by the and tranquil Royal Deeside filled with local attractions such as: Crathes Castle, Scotly Hill, Falls of Feugh, Banchory history museum, the Golf course, Raemoir Garden centre and a selection of pubs and restaurants all within walking distance. Banchory has plenty to offer during your stay.
    The apartment is nested on top of the hill which allows for beautiful views of Banchory. The best quality the apartment has to offer, other than Its cosy environment is the natural lighting that shines through every morning and throughout the day. The apartment is a short walk to the High street where you'll find our local pubs and restaurants.
    The neighbours have never been an issue with guests as long as they remain respectful towards noise levels after hours.

    Glencommon is a quintessential basic farm cottage, just outside Banchory, overlooking the Dee valley. The cottage has two spacious double bedrooms and a family bathroom on the first floor. Downstairs there is a cosy living room with a wood burning stove, a kitchen and a second bathroom with shower. The cottage has a lovely view over the valley and Scolty Hill, a local landmark. The area is a popular location for road cycling, mountain biking, hill walking, kayaking, fishing and playing golf.
    Glencommon was our main home before we built a contemporary house close by the old cottage. It is an old farm that can be found on Ordnance Survey maps of the mid 1800’s. The cottage is still mostly in it’s traditional basic style. Cooking and central heating of the property is done by an Aga style stove which is located in the main kitchen. The second kitchen has recently been updated and has a washing machine, a dishwasher and an electric cooker. Both bathrooms have also been updated. Both bedrooms and bathrooms have central heating. A walled garden surrounds the cottage. There are two more mattresses in the cottage which can be used for additional guests. The cottage has two good size double bedrooms. If you would need more space we also have the stable for rent (£45.-). The stable can be found on Airbnb too. From the house various castles, amongst which Balmoral Castle, whiskey trails and the Cairngorms national park can be visited. Glencommon cottage and garden is fully available for guests during their stay. The property offers ample room to clean, dry and safely store outdoor equipment.
    The cottage is in a rural area. The inchmarlo golf course and the river Dee are closed by. Dogs can be walked from the house.
