Mal posso esperar pelo nosso próximo rip back.

A localização: uau, vistas incríveis, ambiente privado / pacífica e tanta vida selvagem, simplesmente a fuga perfeita do mundo real. Eu definitivamente voltarei novamente no futuro!

    Lisa2019-05-09T00:00:00Z

    Megan2019-04-02T00:00:00Z
  • Adorável e limpo, muito confortável e caseiro. Belas vistas e boas instalações.

    Elizabeth2019-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • Belas vistas - um pequeno local agradável. Adorei que estava no coração do Vale do Canguru.

    Natalie2019-03-26T00:00:00Z

A provincial inspired, idyllic property of just under 1/2 an acre - our cottage features a king size bed, gas kitchen, bath, shower, gas wood fire, AC, TV, DVD, WIFI, lush lawns, alfresco dining, bbq and bicycles!

Our tiny house is inside a residential estate, within a half-hour drive of several wineries, national parks, and the beautiful town of Bundanoon. We also have a few bush tracks within the estate for you to enjoy. The Tiny is basic, but beautiful. It has a composting toilet, as well as a loft bedroom accessed by ladder. There is also plenty of space for dogs to run around. Our kelpie Dave is very friendly and always happy to have new playmates, so feel free to bring pets!
We're in a country estate with about 150 properties, each at least three acres in size. Our block is about four-and-a-half acres, and the tiny house sits at the back of it, about 150 metres away from the main house. It's about 12.5 square metres on the ground floor, with a loft bedroom, a small kitchen with a two-burner stove and bar fridge, a bathroom with shower and composting toilet, and a living area. At the moment we're doing some landscaping work, so the grounds surrounding the house are not yet complete.
Tallong is a small rural town, with the local shop and cafe The Midge serving breakfast and lunch, as well as tasty pizzas on Friday nights. A short drive away is the township of Marulan, where there are several good cafes, a variety of antique stores and the local pub. We will soon also have an IGA and IGA liquor in Marulan, but for the moment groceries are best bought on the way down, or in Goulburn.

Your perfect getaway. Clawfoot bath. Fireplace. Mezzanine loft bedroom. Tranquil character barn conversion (c.1915) set in gorgeous 'Netherhall' gardens. Read that book. Write that song. 200m to village with several cafes. Close to glow worms, walking & cycle tracks, and southern highlands wineries. 400m to station. Book now and we'll put the fire on!
Morton Cottage was originally a barn and has also been an artist studio. Real log look gas fire. French doors to verandah. Enjoy your complimentary tawny port as you settle in for a movie or a game. Use the picnic backpack and folding chairs provided to have a pop up Highlands picnic. The bedroom is a mezzanine loft overlooking the lounge. The cosy queen bed has comfy electric blankets. The bedroom has a bird's eye view over the garden. The bathroom also has a garden view. There is a full-size clawfoot bath and a range of bubbles to try while you soak out your stress. The floor is of Himalayan sandstone, with fossils visible. Kitchen has a gas cooktop, microwave, bar fridge, and is fully equipped, including basic condiments. The lounge includes a generous sofa (which has been chosen specifically because it's comfortable for sleeping) and a beautiful fireplace. CDs, videos, books and magazines provided. Your hosts, Brian and Juanita, live in the residence at the top of the garden, but the cottage is very private with its own separate access off Victoria St. The garden has been lovingly preserved in the style of the era in the planting selection and 'Edna Walling-esque' garden design. As current owners, we are keen to continue to nurture and complete this vision (if a garden can ever be said to be complete!). There are many birds about. Watch for the red and green King Parrots. Crimson rosellas and black cockatoos are also frequent visitors.
Bundanoon is a small village with a heritage-listed main street. There are several cafes and a couple of gift stores. There is a local supermarket 400m away where you can get most necessities. The village also has a PO, chemist and newsagent. The village retains much of the 1920s character that has drawn visitors to the beautiful bush views and glow worms for 100 years. The art deco Soldiers Memorial Hall is the centre of village life. We have an excellent program of music or theatre performances most weekends as well as the 'Makers Market' on 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month. There is an olde English pub, as well as pizza and takeaway options. The Dining Room (Thurs night -Sunday lunch) has an excellent seasonal menu in an evocative 1920s guest house.

You proceed into the light-filled living room, with two seater couch, easy chair and Eames chair, which opens to french doors. All the other rooms lead off the dining room - the north facing piano room/second bedroom is fitted with a concertina privacy door that 'disappears' to given an open-plan look when not in use. It has bookshelves filled with interesting books, a piano, queen bed, and Corbusier lounge chair with footstool. The twin (a queen and a single) bedroom is also accessed from the living room. You can also walk through to the large eat-in kitchen, which has painted floorboards, a rug and 6 seater (or more if you add the church pew bench in the entry hall) beech dining table. The north-facing kitchen has opening windows on three sides, and looks out both at the deck to the rear and the main garden to the front . The dining room opens out via french doors to a small deck, which connects by a walkway to the rear deck used by the apartment in the rear half of the house, however there is so much outdoor living space (it is a 2000sm block in total) that there are plenty of private outdoor areas to find your own spot! From the deck, a flight of concrete steps descend down to the front garden. You also have shared access to the 1000sm back garden which has a wood outdoor fireplace/barbecue. And trampoline! There is a small digital TV with DVD player connected. FREE unlimited WIFI, comfortable seating (3 seater, easy chairs, and Eames chair and footstool) and a cozy wood burner. Firewood, fire-starters, kindling and logs are available to purchase from the Gas station. Feel free to forage on the property for small twigs. If is it wet, or has been, you would be better to purchase dry wood and kindling. A hair dryer is supplied as well as soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner plus various other products (first aid, razors etc) you can find in bathroom cupboard. Both bedrooms are fitted with built in eco-friendly ceramic wall panel heaters (the piano room has two). The kitchen has a good electric heater if it's cold. Bundanoon village shops are literally only a 1 minute walk to the left on Railway Ave, and the supermarket is about a 3 minute walk to the right on Railway Ave. If you are driving, there is on site parking via our driveway entrance in Osborne St (the property is on the corner of Railway Ave and Osborne st). There is parking for four or so cars, shared between the two apartments, which is usually plenty! Fully equipped kitchen with 4 element touch stove, large family size fridge/freezer for your groceries, modern oven, sandwich press toaster, kettle, new dishwasher, crystal wine glasses, and all the crockery, utensils and kitchen equipment you’ll need for self-catering. Pod Espresso machine stocked with coffee pods. French Press also supplied. Comfy lounge with woodburner and opening french doors to deck Enjoy!
About Bundanoon Bundanoon is also the gateway to the beautiful and extensive Morton National park full of natural wonders and bushwalking tracks. Bundanoon has Scottish heritage and is the home annually to the festivities and Highland games of Brigadoon in April. Bundanoon is friendly and a slow living location, and we locals are proud of our gorgeous, safe, friendly and historic village. Many of us discovered the village and 'tree-changed' here from Sydney (only 90 minutes away) and I wouldn't be surprised if you have thoughts about doing the exact same thing! Creative and nature loving locals and visitors love the close access to nature and the feeling of well-being that the wonderful starry nights and misty fresh mornings and evenings bring, combined with the easy access from Sydney (by car, 90 minutes, or by train about 2 hours). The Southern Highlands offers arts, antique and second hand hunting, markets, cafes, restaurants, wineries, open gardens and side trips and beautiful drives down the escarpment to the coast or south to Canberra, west to Wombeyan Caves and other county detours such as Fitzroy Falls, Berrima, and many more.

Classic Southern Highlands cottage within walking distance to the village and train station. Enjoy the nature, flowers and all the birds that visit us! Wombat Glen is a perfect spot for your home away from home. Enjoy outdoor meals either in the front deck (next to the spa) or back deck (overlooking the garden). Enjoy the outdoor spa all year around. There are plenty of activities for your kids, including puzzles, board games, painting, swing set, and a trampoline.
The backyard has a 10ft trampoline for the kids or the not so grown-up adults. :) There is a hammock for that afternoon snooze and an open fire spot for the cold nights. We now have two fire spots - a smaller one on the back deck and a bigger fire pit at the rear of the property. There is plenty of firewood. Just don't forget to bring marshmallows! The property is also dog-friendly but keep in mind that we have no fences so make sure your dog won't get too adventurous and go for a walk by itself.

Wake to birdsong, meet our famous mini donks, stargaze at the firepit, chill on the veranda, read in front of the log fire, bathe "'al fresco" or have long, lazy meals at one of our 3 dining tables. 10 mins walk to Bundy's cafes and shops and about 1 km from the waterfalls, walks and cycle tracks of Morton National Park. And don't miss the local wineries!
We've designed this to be a perfect place for us to get away and relax with our friends, so we hope that's what you'll experience too. The kitchen, dining area and lounge all flow into one so it's ideal for chilling out over long lunches that turn into dinner - and we have plenty of board games on hand. There is a big TV and plenty of books for those that don't like games . The TV has Netflix, google play etc but no terrestrial channels. The kitchen is new, with a big gas range, coffee machine and top of the range appliances, cookware and tableware. I like entertaining and there is pretty much everything you could need in the kitchen - if there's something specific, just check before you book / come. There are 4 large bedrooms; each has a heater; a near silent ceiling fan, and electric blankets on the bed. They all have feather and down duvets and pillows and 100% cotton bedding. There are bath towels in each room and hand towels in the bathroom. The dragonfly bedroom gets amazing dawn views - we have not put curtains on the end window as it’s so lovely to lie in bed and watch the dawn. This is the bedroom we use. We keep some of our personal things in here - but there is still plenty of storage. All the other rooms have curtains on all windows and doors onto the veranda. The bathroom is quite special - it's our favourite room in the house. There is not much better than a glass of wine in that bath, with the windows open watching sunset. And the double shower is very decadent. There are bins, a hairdryer, an iron and home made bath salts in the bottom drawers of the vanities in the bathroom. The ironing board is in the spare loo - which is an eco loo, so the hand basin flows into the cistern - recycling the water. If the weather is good, there is a dining table and fire pit in the grounds and another dining table, a gas BBQ and bean bags on the wrap around veranda. We also have a Tesla charging station for use of our guests who are lucky enough to have Teslas (sadly not us)! We are on 2.5 acres that are not "improved" yet but full of birds, butterflies and the odd wombat. Sit on the wrap around veranda or by the fire pit (toasting marshmallows!) and enjoy the amazing sunrises and sunsets over the nearby Morton National Park. Our mini donkeys live here in their own paddock - even when we are away. You can ignore them, or they love to be fussed! When we are here, we love to do yoga on the veranda or in the gardens; it's a perfect way to start the day and the lovely Mel will be happy to come and take a private class for you if you're interested. Let us know when you book and we will share her details. We can also organise wine to be here on your arrival and advise on where to get good supplies for your stay locally or where to eat out - just drop us a note before you arrive. This is our home, so we are adding to it and improving it all the time - we hope you love it as much as we do. All the pictures are real and not photo shopped - for more pictures, check us out @cityorsticks. We are avid users of airbnb ourselves and love our local area, so any questions, just ask us.
Bundanoon is a fantastic village and we are about 7 mins slow walk from the centre. The train station can take you to Sydney or Canberra (both about 2 hours) or Moss Vale and Bowral (one or two stops). In the village there is everything you could need - coffee shops, great places for lunch, a butcher, general store ... and much more. We have added details of our fave places to eat in Bundanoon to the manual in the house. There is a regular Sunday makers market and most weekends there is something on in the village hall. We are also close to about 18 wineries and there is a great cycle route that will take you to 4 or 5 quite easily!

Sarnia is the home of the local “Rush Roasting Co” family coffee enterprise. The coffee is roasted in the roastery at the rear of the house and packaging is a family affair. The coffee is distributed locally, as well as Sydney and South Coast, and is well known for its superior flavours. You will be given samples for your stay and also a voucher for free coffee at the “Rush Roasting Co” cafe located in Bowral. The roastery is currently out of bounds and will not affect your stay in any way but stay tuned as it is developed into a “cellar door” and you will be invited in to observe the process.

Bush walking is a favourite activity with the locals and there are endless walking tracks in the area. Some long, some short. Some are in National Parks and State Forests, others take you along the Wingecarribee River and to the top of Mt Gibraltar and to other land marks. Something to think about doing while visiting the area.

Check-in e check-out foi fácil.
