This cabin provided us the ideal getaway. The few questions we had were quickly answered. The cabin had everything we needed. The area around the cabin is almost fairy tale perfect with short hiking trails and a lovely meadow type area to enjoy a cook out and play. We hope to return to this perfect cabin again someday.

We had a fantastic family vacation here. The house was laid out perfectly for my children and grandchildren to enjoy every inch of it and have their own separate areas. The grandchildren woke each morning excited to play Pac-Man downstairs while we were fixing breakfast. We had several Pool “tournaments “. We also enjoyed cooking out hot dogs and s’mores on the fire pit out front and on the back porch. The kitchen was amazing with so many cabinets for all our food storage that it felt just like home. It was also wonderful for each room to have their own bathroom . We also had a wonderful time each day either at the pools which had a fun lazy River which to our surprise did provide tubes instead of us having to purchase or provide our own or we went to the beach where it was so relaxing because it was shallow and calm enough for the kids to feel free to just run in and out . The pools and beach were just a 5-10 minute drive away. There was a little market near also. Thanks so much!

Perfect log cabin in the mountains. Great at home feel with everything you need and more. They were responsive and answered every question we had almost immediately. Would definitely stay again.

Our family had a wonderful vacation, we felt right at home! You can do as much or as little as you want in the beautiful surrounding mountains! It was a perfect fit for us!

This was our second stay with Jody and Shaun. They are the nicest hosts and we loved our cabin with its private porch looking at the woods. Perfect for a couples romantic getaway. They were almost finished with the construction of their pool but the fire pit area was completed. They are doing everything first rate so it will be fantastic when it’s done. We hope to be back again dome day. .

Scenic neighborhood with a private lake. Close to recreation options at Lake Lure and a short drive to the thermal belt rail trail and frisbee golf at Isothermal community college. Wooded lot and spacious deck.

We had an incredible stay at Thistle Ridge! The home is gorgeous and the location is ideal! Upon arrival, there was an issue with the hot tub. Much to my surprise (because it was late at night in the day before Thanksgiving), the company’s technician responded quickly. He was incredibly kind and professional! Valerie was excellent and quickly responded to all my questions. We look forward to our next stay with Valerie!

Had an amazing weekend, everything was very clean and well-kept! Valerie was super responsive and helped immediately with any questions or concerns.

Andrea was great to book with. We booked last minute and they graciously accepted. Good communication and no issues with any part of our stay. The house and property were beautiful! It was great to be able to bring our dogs and they had a fenced in area to run. It was a peaceful getaway with lots of hiking and other things to do in nature in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay! Super convenient to TIEC for horse shows! Mary was a wonderful host and the cabin was everything we expected based on the listing, etc. Thank you so much for having us, Mary!

We have stayed at the Cider House a few times with our dogs. The house is perfect with plenty of space with a great kitchen, beautiful bathroom with strong water pressure, and plenty of space to walk our dogs outside. Every morning that we were there this time, we saw deer in the backyard which was perfect. The Cider House is our go-to place when we stay in the area to visit family and friends. Look forward to our next visit!

GREAT LOCATION! We loved being so close to the horse park. The house was very roomy & comfy. Word of advice- only do self clean if you aren’t in a rush to leave on your departure day. We were only there for 2 nights and are neat & tidy, but it still a bit to clean as required. Overall it was the perfect place for us!

This was the perfect spot for us to stay to watch our daughter show horses at Tryon. We were 10 minutes from town and 10 minutes from Tryon International Park. Clarissa was very responsive and provided clear instructions.

This house was very convenient for horse showing at TIEC. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking quick meals, and the beds were comfortable. Gray was super easy to communicate with and always very helpful. Will definitely keep this place on my favorites list for next time.

My husband and I stayed a week over Christmas to visit family. Terry and Bill met us when we arrived and were super friendly and showed us around, met our dog, and gave us the history of the cottage. The cottage was very cozy and exactly what we needed! Gorgeous scenery and was fun to see the horses every morning. We will be back!

This was our favorite Air B & B rental. The farm is more beautiful than we expected. The house was inviting and we felt right at home. We loved the pool , hot tub and the wonderful back porch over looking the gorgeous scenery. Doug is amazing.He is quick to respond and very helpful before and during our trip. We cant wait to go back and visit!

it was a wonderful stay and Joy was a great host. The location is beautiful and peaceful. The condo was very comfortable to stay in for 4 of us and has part of the lake right behind it which makes it serene. The check in was smooth , wifi worked without a problem , parking is right in front of the unit, the neighborhood is quiet, and hiking trails are close by. Important to know that you may have to drive a bit for getting groceries etc if you plan to cook dinners. Asheville downtown is about an hour away with 20 min of highway time and other 40 min is winding roads getting to the scenic community. That part of the drive is quiet dark after sunset. Overall, it's a great place for R&R, and Joy is a very warm and responsive host - we would love to come back again soon. Thanks Joy.

This is our second stay at Aramis's home. It was just as lovely the second time around. We were in town for a horse show at TIEC. The rental is comfortable and feels like a home away from home. The neighborhood is lovely and peaceful. Aramis is a wonderful host. He is very responsive and goes the extra mile providing snacks and breakfast foods. We will definitely stay again!

We had a great time at the Lazy Bear Lodge! It was so nice to be able to relax and unwind for the weekend surrounded by the peaceful mountains. Lovely home and equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Thank you guys for a wonderful time!

Tolle Blockhütte!! Sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Im allgemeinen war das Anwesen sehr modern und der Spa Bereich ein Traum für uns! Jody und ihr Mann waren sehr sehr nett - haben uns abends sogar das Feuer angemacht - das war ein weiteres Highlight! Ich kann die Unterkunft sehr weiterempfehlen:)

Valerie’s place was exactly as described. We had everything we needed and lots of little extra’s that we didn’t expect. The kitchen and baths were a bit dated but everything was in great shape so it didn’t affect function at all. There isn’t enough seating in the living room for 8 but the dining room is connected so some of us sat at the table talking anyway while others watched TV, etc. The driveway is very steep and parking is limited to 2 vehicles but the resort has an area where you can park additional vehicles. My older FIL had some difficulty navigating up the driveway to the front door. We also had a 2 year old with us and the house was perfect for him. He could go on the screened porch and wander the house as there is a door to the stairway which I appreciated. The home is very comfortable overall for a family. My older children thoroughly enjoyed the game room in the basement. We would definitely book again if my FIL is not with us.

This place was great. My 7 year old said it was the best place we've ever stayed. Kids loved the game room and hot tub.

the kitchen is well-stocked and suitable to cook for large parties. we really appreciated that. the house is big enough for 2 or 3 different families to have plenty of space and of course, the game room is so nicely seperated from the formal living room. we had 2 challenges while there which didn't put me off but didn't make the experience quite worth the price range, which is top for that area. One, the fireplace in the main room was without gas and none was available during the holiday week. That's a main feature of the home that wasn't working properly. two, Rumbling Bald Property management is very responsive but not quite forthcoming with linens;) we had 1 kitchen towel and ONE bath towel per person...for a 7 day stay. and there's a hot tub, besides! the house didn't quite deliver the service that the price range suggests but it has the potential to. the property management IS on site and they ARE responsive, so just being really clear and communicative is necessary.

Jody & Shaun were very friendly and treated us like family. I traveled with my father-in-law and my uncle so in the moment of get our stuffs into the cabin we detect that the sofa bed missing a set of sheets and pillow, I was going to ask if they could give me an extra set of sheets, so in the moment I left to ask, Shaun came walking with them!! I was impressed!! We had an excellent weekend at the cabin!!!
