What an absolutely wonderful Airbnb experience. The apartment was beautiful and super-clean, and the view was stunning! We loved looking out the window at the ocean in the evenings, and we took a lovely walk along the seafront one morning. We took day trips to the Golden Circle and the Snaefellsnes peninsula, and we were an easy drive from Reykjavik. Best of all, Salvor Lilja and her husband were amazing hosts. We enjoyed a sunset soak in the hot tub, and they very kindly provided a selection of beverages and Icelandic treats. They also very thoughtfully left the apartment stocked with amenities like coffee, tea, milk, beer, wine and chocolates. We would highly recommend to anyone!

Rogers place was so beautiful and slightly away from downtown Reykjavik that we were able to see the northern lights the first night! Highly recommend for a family or group trip to stay at with plenty of common space

Extremely well stocked with supplies and all sorts of gadgets and home comforts. Christmas decorations and a small gift for each of the children along with a bottle and chocolates were such a thoughtful and nice touch as we were staying over Christmas Day. Just bear in mind it’s a tourist attraction so if you don’t lock the door you may get an unexpected visitor. We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of character and very homely.

We had a great stay at this location. It is about 30 min from Reykjavik which was not a problem for us at all. It is located in a super quiet area literally right next to a lake. We are a family of 4, so we used all three bedrooms which as great for us. It is not a large cabin, but we spent so little time at the cabin that it did not bother us at all. We used the Hot tub in the back yard every day and enjoyed the view over the lake and mountains. It is close to a number of hiking trails and waterfalls, and it was exactly what we had hoped for. The host is AMAZING, by far the most responsive host we have ever had, and offered super good information for trips, shopping etc. We ended our trip by watching the Northern Lights right from our back yard patio. I would recommend this to anyone looking for nature, hikes and amazing views.

Amazing house for a real Icelandic experience. I reccomend this space!

Such a wonderful stay! The view from the home is beautiful over the bay. Kitchen well stocked with coffee maker, microwave, stove, dish washer. Beds were very, very comfortable and plenty of towels present. Washer/dryer on premise but we did not use. Gudrun was quick to respond to any questions. Would absolutely recommend!

In fact I should write two comments here. We had booked the apartment for a stay, but had to cancel the trip as we became ill. Axel understood immediately that our health was more important. Luckily we both became better soon and even more luckily were able to book another trip to Iceland. And of course we booked Axels apartment again. Right from the beginning whenever I wrote to Axel he answered quickly and so we always had a nice contact. We know Reykjavik and Iceland quite well from several stays before and so I know were the flat is. In fact that as one reason to book it, as it is quite near to the houses of some friends we have. But the second reason were the photos of the flat. Very inviting and in reality the flat is exactly as seen on the photos. We felt immediatly at home and were very sad, that we had to leave again. The weather was not fine all the time, but not problem: We had this nice and comfortable flat. Will definitely come again!!

Andri was the most helpful host we've ever experienced! The instructions for getting there were wonderful and he checked in with us a couple of times during the week through the app. The condo was exactly as described and was plenty of room for the two of us. It would fit 4 if the sofas were utilized but it's important to note that the sofas are 6 feet in length so they would not fit tall adults very well. The bedroom is small but the bed is comfortable. We had everything we needed in the condo which was very clean. Having a washer and dryer made packing easier. There is an elevator to the condo. The location was great for us especially since we rented a car but is a little outside of downtown (5-10 minutes) and the area is being built up so I expect there will be more shops and restaurants nearby in the future. Being able to look out at the water each morning was a beautiful start our day plus checking for whitecaps was a quick way to assess how windy it was.

A lovely place to stay in a quiet part of the city. Plenty of local facilities within walking distance and only a short drive to the city centre. Ideal for a visit to Sky Lagoon too which we highly recommend. The apartment is very comfortable and homely with a well equipped kitchen and easy parking
