Magical and peaceful place, right on the riverbank. Surrounded by nature. We went kayaking and had a wonderful time. Great location, close to Shenandoah National Park, the caverns, and just 6 minutes from Walmart. We’ll definitely be back!

This has to be one of the most beautiful places we stayed at . It has such a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. We loved every single thing about the stay including the hammock which was undoubtedly my favourite spot. Our host Alton was the sweetest. He helped us before we got there with clear instructions and was super friendly during our stay. He was extremely helpful when I was feeling a little uneasy one of the days and even helped me with meditations. We would totally recommend his place for a romantic getaway!

What an unforgettable getaway! This charming cabin is perfectly situated right on the river, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. We were thrilled to find kayaks and a canoe available for our use, making it easy to explore the beautiful surroundings. The fire pit area was a delightful spot to gather in the evenings, and having both gas and charcoal grills made cooking meals a pleasure. We spent our days fishing and relaxing in the hot tub, which was a wonderful way to unwind after our adventures. The cabin's kitchen was impressively equipped with all the utensils and appliances we could possibly need. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The cozy fireplace added a warm ambiance to our evenings, creating the perfect setting to reflect on our day filled with activities. This place truly is a hidden gem! Book now!

This was my second time staying at Dawn’s place. Located very close to my daughter’s home, it is very convenient for me to stay there when I am in Luray. I am very pleased to have found accommodations that are reliably comfortable, clean and pleasant for my visits.

Patricia is super nice, place was wonderful for our little kids. Checking on the chickens in the morning was a fantastic way to start the day. BEAUTIFUL fairy walk on site, would come back just for that besides the beautiful view, and fantastic host.

We were pleasantly surprised with the proximity of the Airbnb to our destinations. It was warm, inviting, and cutely decorated with an authentic cabin-feel right outside of DC. I wish we could have stayed longer. We would love to come back.

Jordan was a very helpful and responsive host, offering local recommendations and answering any questions we had. The cabin was very cozy and located in such a beautiful area, and we’d love to stay again sometime!

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was delightful. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare simple meals. The chairs in the living area and the chair in the bedroom were very comfortable. The area was very quiet and close to major attractions. Great communication with Brad and David.

From the moment we arrived, my wife and I felt like this was truly our home away from home. Zachary was incredibly welcoming and made us look forward to returning before we had even left. We had an AMAZING three days at Cass-N-Reel Houseboat! Kirby was an attentive and caring host, with great communication skills! The house boat we named The Loveboat, was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, and we loved sitting on the covered back deck watching the ducks, Blue Heron and boats. We also appreciated the snacks and gift cards to wonderful local restaurants! We were sad to leave and would love to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at this adorable guest house! We had everything we needed and we found the stay to be cozy and clean. The directions we received for check in were clear and easy. We had a great weekend exploring local hikes and breweries. Would recommend this stay!

This was a great place and location for our trip to Shenandoah. Brent was a great host and made us feel right at home. We had our 1 year old daughter with us and Brent was very kind to let her pet their horses. The cottage was a perfect size for our small family and there was nearby access to the Shenandoah river where you could go float, fish, or whatever water activities you like. We had a fantastic stay at Levi’s place. The creek is clean and beautiful, Levi is very friendly and helpful, the cabin was very clean and neat and laid out as expected from the pictures. The front porch is a nice size. I loved hearing the stream in the evening and we all enjoyed the cows and horses in the field. It was not a problem at all but because we booked through Airbnb and had not checked out his outfitting site, I was not aware that there were also camping sites and it is possible you have will have RV’s and/or tent campers around you. We have a pop up ourselves so I don’t have a problem with that, but I wasn’t expecting it. We stayed mid week in April so only a couple camping sites were in use and weren’t next to us but I am sure it fills certain times of the year. Also, it is creek side but if there are paying fishers in the creek you need to be respectful of their space. We had a great time at the pond and appreciated the use of kayaks, paddle boat, and paddle board

Beautiful private getaway, steps from the river… sitting in the hot tub and watching eagles fish in the river just yards away, was absolutely thrilling. Beds were super comfy and the kitchen came equipped with everything we could’ve wanted. This cozy peaceful cabin, just minutes from town, definitely gives you the best of both worlds! We are already planning another visit in the summer to take advantage of all the fun the river has to offer!

We had the most wonderful weekend at Michael’s cabin! From the moment we arrived, I could tell how much care and thought had gone into making guests feel comfortable. Beautiful stay, the nature surrounding the cabin was really relaxing and the sounds were perfect to fall asleep to. Would definitely recommend to others for a nice getaway.

Fun stay for our young family of four with two boys under 10 and our dog. Not quite the secluded atmosphere we thought, but the description of the home and the amenities were wonderful for our needs. Internet worked great along with the game room, hot tub, and gas grill. Very clean and a great host. Thank you!
