Victoria's place in Rangeley is outstanding. The layout of the house is great, has everything you could need, is well decorated with appealing architecture and a spectacular view of the lake from above. Easy to get to, was a perfect location for our work trip in the area. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood within a sizable nature preserve, with a pleasant walk to the common lake access.

We had a great stay in the lake cottage! It is perfect for kids to look for tree frogs and salamanders in the woods, find pretty rocks snorkeling, warm up by the fire after and play games after dinner. I was worried about 1 bathroom for 8 people, but it never became an issue. Scapes cafe is only 5 minutes away and they have a lot of breakfast/lunch options (cheddar biscuits are a must have!) Be careful on the deck, it can be a little slippery when wet, bring a sharp knife if you plan on a lot of cooking and you’ll have the best time!

We enjoyed the stay for our snowmobile trip. Great space and our group enjoyed the games and air hockey. We’d definitely go back again!

My wife and I spent our first year anniversary in this wonderful home. We had a great time enjoying the fall colors and over looking the beautiful pond, especially in the morning as the fog broke. Within 15 minutes there were several grocery shopping options, restaurants, and breweries. Perfect balance of being in a quiet setting but having amenities nearby. Would recommend and hope to go back next autumn!

Stayed here for the weekend with a group of 10 friends and had the best time! Before we arrived, Emily and Anthony sent over a super helpful list of instructions along with recommendations for things to do in the area. They were also really responsive whenever we had questions, which made everything super easy. The location is great with a beautiful water view! While we mostly hung out at the house, we made a grocery run and everything we needed was just 5–10 minutes away. For anyone wanting to explore more, they even had a binder with local recommendations, which was such a thoughtful touch. The house itself is beautiful, clean, and had plenty of room for all of us. We especially loved the bonfire setup and the awesome selection of board games—it made for such a fun and cozy weekend. Would absolutely stay here again!

This home is comfy, cozy, and clean - a classic New Englander - and convenient to skiing and Bethel. Weather kept us from enjoying all of the area’s winter activities, but we enjoyed a relaxing stay.

Steven went above and beyond to make my family’s stay enjoyable. Upon an accidental overbook Steven refunded us the days and extra for his mistake. He also went out of his way to gift us some drinks since I had mentioned it was my birthday weekend. He was very happy to help with any questions we had. Overall, it was a nice stay and his home was beautiful.

My husband and I rented this place for our wedding venue. Kim was great at communicating what was needed for us to use her place as a venue. The location was absolutely stunning! The home was clean and easy to check in. A few things that need to be more clear is the sleeping arrangements. There are only 3 bedrooms. The rest of the sleeping areas are pull out beds in common areas. It can sleep many people but they all have to sleep in the downstairs together. For this reason, it was a little pricey. We don’t regret renting this place for our venue and are grateful for Kim letting us check in early. Kim was a great host!

We had been looking for a private vacation spot on a lake that would accommodate our intergenerational family of 8 and 2 pets for a few years. Sweetwater Cottage was worth the wait! The long backyard and raised screened in porch made for exquisite views of the sunsets while our kids and dogs played. Quiet lake and neighbors made for an equally perfect spot for early morning fishing and afternoon naps while listening to the loons. We caught several bass, lake trout and even a landlocked salmon out on our flat bottom boat, and the kids were endlessly entertained by catching sunfish off of the dock. The provided paddleboards were a favorite. We even paddled out to the small island where we got up close to a Bald Eagle's nest and took turns jumping off the small wooden platform on a rope swing. The house was beautiful and spacious with comfortable beds and a sectional couch that fit our whole family for game nights. Lots of great memories and photos made. We can't wait to return!

Lilla stugga is a beautiful property with all of the lake life amenities you could need. The location is very peaceful and private with amazing sunsets and lakefront. The outdoor shower was an added bonus! Hosts were super responsive and helpful with my questions. Highly recommend for a Maine lake getaway!

Kelly was very fast in responding to our questions! The cabin was perfect for the rainy weekend that we had! The kayaks were a hit with the kids!

Loons Rest was the perfect get away spot for our 40th anniversary. We were lucky to enjoy the swimming dock in mid September as the daytime temperatures were in the upper 70's to low 80's. The lake was pristine and was warm enough for swimming still. We enjoyed watching and hearing the loons as well as the eagles and kingfishers. We loved the outdoor fire pit when the evenings turned cool as well as the indoor fireplace which is a work of art! Also the was plenty of well seasoned firewood. Everything about this place is very well thought out. If they don't have it you don't need it! The kitchen was well equipped and we were happy to find that there was everything we needed to prepare pizzas to cook on our solo stove pizza oven that we had brought along! John is a great host and responded quickly to any questions we had. Would highly recommend Loons Rest to anyone who is looking for a peaceful and relaxing spot to vacation.

Once again and for the sixth or seventh year we went back to Kai's place with our friends. Always a joy to spend time on David Pond. Can't say enough about it !!! Super clean,all the amenities we need, great view and Kai attentive as usual. We will be back next year Kai,thank you. Marilyn & Tom

We had a little getaway that turned out better than we had anticipated. The cottage was so quaint and cozy. Our host had a fire going in the wood stove upon our arrival which pleasantly took the chill out of the air and added to the ambiance. The view of the lake was spectacular from every room. The place was neat and organized with everything we needed for cooking. We went out for a morning canoe ride from our private dock just steps away from the cabin. There were lifejackets and paddles and everything easily accessible. We were even welcome to pick our own apples from the apple trees on the property. I am looking forward to our future visits here!

Troy’s home is absolutely gorgeous! We were only there for a short stay but it was comfortable, had everything we needed, and had such a beautiful view of the lake. The game room is outstanding, but I wish we hadn’t been too busy to use the hot tub. Troy is one of the easiest hosts — very responsive, flexible and welcoming. We’ll definitely return if we’re in the area again!

Our second time staying. Beautiful location, close access to the water. Thoughtful features inside. For wintertime stay the driveway was clear and we were able to keep very warm in the cabin, even on the coldest of days!! Tara is a responsive, kind and helpful host. Would definitely visit again!

Cute cabin on the lake. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped to cook. Hot tub was hot when we got there and everything was ready to go. Check in/out were super easy. Provided a coffee/tea bar. Overall felt very welcoming with a cozy feel

Great spot near Mt blue pond. Has mostly everything you need at the shack. I would have packed lighter if I knew it was fully stocked. But it’s good to know for next time. There are neighbors on one side divided by a huge fence. Shack was cozy, clean and peaceful. It was so nice of Alexandra to let us use the kayak! It was awesome! Kids had a blast!

Just returned from the most fantastic 2 weeks exploring the US which included a weeks stay at Kiwi Lodge. Where to start? This was exactly as described and the perfect base for exploring Maine. The property was spotless and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. 3 beautiful bedrooms, 2 great sized bathrooms, wonderful living area and kitchen and fantastic games room. Hot tub was brilliant. The location on the lake is just perfect, we had the lake to ourselves and took the canoe out. Nearest town of Farmington has all the shops and cafes you’d need. The communication from Kay was great from the day we booked, and recommendations we took her up on were all absolutely spot on. Thank you Kay and thank you Kiwi Lodge for a holiday to remember!

Been here multiple times and excellent every time. Would recommend to anybody. Will rent here again in the winter summer or spring and fall l.

We cozied in for a couple of days, highlights were playing board games and the hot tub on the deck. Pretty pond just steps away. The heart of the cabin is the back deck.

Absolutely beautiful location. Views of the lake from every window make the cozy spot feel more spacious. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the water, napping on the hammock, dining on the porch or watching the hummingbirds. Incredibly private lot that was so quiet and peaceful. Fully stocked with anything you could need. Games, first aid and staple spices. Use of the Canoe and paddleboard added lots of fun and fires at night to round off a perfect camp stay. So glad we found this beautiful gem!

Myself and 2 friends stayed at the cabin for 2 nights, we took a trip up to Sunday River. This cabin was so perfect for what we needed and our sized group. We were supposed to have 3 other friends join, but they couldn't, but even with all 6 of us there, we still would've had plenty of space to spread out! The cabin itself was so cute and clean. Beautiful location across from the water, quiet and peaceful. We even used the wood burning fireplace our first night and it made the whole place even more cozy. Would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone who needs to stay in the area. Brandon was so friendly and made everything super easy for us! Thank you for a great stay!!
