If you are looking to stay in Des Moines and be walkable to virtually everything, this is the spot! Dan was incredibly accessible throughout our stay and the theater room was awesome to simply hang out, watch a movie or catch the game. We were able to plug in via HDMI and play some video games as well. Perfect for a chill weekend with the guys - Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed this location. We would definitely come back. Easy to get in, great location, clear instructions, and super responsive host. If you want a recommendation for food, we cannot suggest Fong's Pizza enough. Their Bahn Mi pizza was incredible.

Berhane went above and beyond to help us out during our stay. My son parked in a no parking zone outside of the Air BNB and got towed. Berhane was there the next morning to take him to get his car. Excellent example of quality hospitality!!

We didnt see the tow zone sign (its small and im from a rural area so I am unaccustomed to that sorta thing) near where we parked. Went up to grab the parking pass, used the bathroom and came right back down. My vehicle was gone! Berhane reimbursed me half the tow charge and i am eternally grateful!!!! Definitely would stay here again and recommend. Just be sure you pay attention to the lot and/or have someone stay back in the vehicle if possible when you go up to grab the pass. Crow tow is watching and waiting to snatch your vehicle the minute you get inside. 🤪

We were in town for our brother in laws celebration of life. The service was scheduled for the same weekend as the Drake Relays. We were very happy to find this home that fit us and our large family perfectly. The location close to downtown was perfect, the only downfall was being on an extremely busy street that was loud at times. We arrived late so it was dark and had trouble gett6the front door open, but Elijah had provided the garage door code which worked perfectly. The home was spotless and appeared just as advertised. The lower level was perfect for our adult children to relax and enjoy each other's company. The only issue we had was minor, Elijah responded and rectified the problem quickly. Check out was very easy as well.

It’s all about the details! This listing is above and beyond. We pulled up to a beautiful home in an amazing neighborhood. When we walked in the house we were welcomed with bottles of wine and a lovely card. Water bottles and chocolates in each bedroom. Some frozen food items available in case we needed a quick snack or breakfast item and didn’t have time to make it to the store. The home has EVERYTHING you could need from the kitchen to the bathrooms to the bedrooms and everywhere in between. I have rented many places and this home was one of the most well appointed homes I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Comfy beds and bedding. Also, the place was SPOTLESS. I’m very picky about cleanliness. Most other homes I’ve rented were mostly clean but if you looked in the corners or close up you could see spots missed. That was not the case here, this home is pristine while still maintaining its cozy and welcoming character. You will not be disappointed. Don’t pass this one up!

Taylors place was great!! We spent the weekend there with our family celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. There was something there for everyone. All the kids and the 9 grandkids (Ages 4-24) were able to find something to do! The backyard and the basement were awesome! The home was supplied with everything we needed. We would definitely stay again!!

We had great stay at Kevin’s and definitely hope to stay here again on future visits to ISU. Kevin is a top notch host with quick, helpful responses. We especially appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was! It is hard to find a place with all of the pots, pans, utensils, storage containers and utensils needed, but this place went above and beyond. Lots of great details and extras like coffee/hot chocolate pods, lots of seasonings and even popcorn for the movie theatre room. Thank you Kevin!

I have nothing but amazing words for the Airbnb! Everything was as expected! The house was clean and very comfortable. The accommodations were all very thoughtful, especially for a family! We greatly appreciated having a space to relax and recharge during a busy wedding week. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay with Jesse. He was very responsive and accommodating during our stay. The back patio and hot tub was our favorite and great for relaxing durning the day for our group.
