Really enjoyed our stay! One of the days was rainy and it was still great to just sit and read a book while looking at the lake. The main reason we booked this location was for the sandy beach area, it did not disappoint. Made it very easy to get our dogs in the water. And not have to take them to the park. The hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating. The also returned the dog cleaning fee very quickly which is always appreciated!! The dock is very well positioned for easy in, easy out should you want to rent a boat. The pictures are an accurate representation of the home. Easy to move around and a good seating. The deck is very large and can’t wait to see what they do with the reno in the spring!

We had a wonderful stay at Mariner’s Landing. It is a nice community with lots of amenities when in season. We enjoyed walking down to the beach at the lake for swimming. This is a ground level unit so you can walk out the back straight to the lake. It was very peaceful and homey. There were board games and coloring books for kids. The unit was very clean and comfortable. It would have been nice for there to be body wash and shampoo and more laundry detergent as it is out of town about 15 minutes. The hosts were very helpful and easy to communicate with. As a family with young kids, the pros include access to the beach, community clubhouse with pool (indoor all year and outdoor during the summer), coloring books and games in the unit, and bunkbed setup. Stefan and Laura make you feel at home! They both were really nice and helpful all the time. The studio was amazing , if you want something different from the city this is a place to relax. I definitely recommend it.

Mick’s place was the perfect spot for a long weekend with my son! Everything was clean and tidy, the decor was lovely and the directions were all very straightforward. The view of the lake from the porch swing was beautiful, we spent a lot of the time parked right there. It was very peaceful even on a holiday weekend. All of the amenities of Bernard’s Landing were great for entertaining a 9 year old as well. We visited the indoor pool and the beach and enjoyed the restaurant. We were a little disappointed to find that the outdoor pools weren’t open yet as it was in the 80’s, but it wasn’t a big deal. Thanks for sharing your space with us!

Just lovely accommodations. Very comfortable beds and couches. Great view of the beautiful lake and hills. It was exactly what we needed.

We totally fell in love with Lauren's place! It was clean, peaceful, and beautifully decorated. This was our second visit to Smith Mountain Lake, as we are starting to get a feel for possibly retiring to that area. Lauren answered any questions we had quickly. We would definitely like to go back!
