Well situated for public transport: buses in Jackson Street to Lower Hutt and Wellington, and just 1.1 km to Petone train station. Whether it’s a convenient overnighter or an extended stay, our studio is ideal, with a short drive to Queensgate & Central Hutt or a short walk to the public train into Wellington city. Past guests have enjoyed the convenience of ample off street parking onsite. With Te Whiti park directly across the road, there are plenty of beautiful walks & fitness options too.

Easy walk to Jackson St shops, cafés and restaurants. Petone Beach and Railway Station within a 10min walk. Percy's reserve and walking tracks close by. Wellington city a 10 min drive (off peak). The InterIslander Ferry is a less than ten minute drive off peak. Perfect to catch an early morning Ferry, or late afternoon disembark. Supermarkets, specialty stores, cinema and pharmacies. Petone pretty much has it all including a Kmart which is quite literally at the end of the street.

If you prefer to cook inside, a fully equipped kitchen is provided There is a self contained studio off the rear of the driveway. The studio has no access the cottage or its private deck and garden.
