Mcgees Lane BNB is the perfect place to stay while exploring the Central West. Located perfectly right in the middle of the Parkes CBD. Our unit has recently had a full renovation which now has a new bathroom, kitchen, painting and floor coverings. Everything you require is within 400 metres walking distance Coles, Woolworth's, newsagent, Boutique shops, coffee shops, clubs & pubs it really is a park & walk location. As unit is located on first floor there are 22 steps to access the unit.

"Anglesey House" Iconic Forbes CBD Heritage Home

"Anglesey House" a two storey, Late Victorian home built in 1884 in the CBD. A wealthy merchant from Anglesey in Wales, loaded two ships with finery that could not be obtained in Australia at the time. William Thomas built Anglesey House with it's seven marble fireplaces, cedar staircase, high and ornate ceilings and sandstone stables in the back garden. Although built in 1884 Anglesey has all of the facilities that are expected in a modern home. More history available in the guest guide.

Five minute drive to our beautiful lake. Or visit our information centre which is also a five minute drive or a leisurely 15 minute walk see our utes in the paddock and enjoy a coffee at Thorpey's. Wheelchair friendly, disability rails in toilet and shower. Rear lane access with plenty of parking space.
