All just minutes from Hadrian's Wall. Explore wonderful Northumberland, the Lake District to the West is an easy drive as is the Pennines to the South and Scotland to the North.

Situated in a secluded location, within easy level walking distance of Hexham market town centre, School Cottage is a unique building; a great base from which to explore all that Northumberland has to offer. This former farmer's cottage situated in Northumberland National Park has recently been totally refurbished. We also have a smaller cottage next door, which is listed separately on Airbnb, if you have a large party of guests wishing to get away from it all! About 1.5 miles from Hadrians Wall and around 4 miles from the local town of Haltwhistle which is merited with being the Centre of Britain. We are a fully working farm, around a 1000 acres, and have cows and sheep.

The Allen Valleys offers a break from city life and has an abundance of seasonal birdlife by day, with truly dark, star-filled skies by night.

This detached one bedroom Grade II listed stone built coach house is set in a private location adjacent to the owners' residence, with independent access and your own private off road parking. To the side is a private lawned area with seating. Pets welcome. The Coach House is set in a courtyard opposite Old Brewery cottage and next to my house.
