Kawakawa Hut

Close by lies the vegetable garden, and friendly cows graze just over the fence. Further out over surrounding farmland you can see Tongariros snow capped mountains in the distance, so sit back and enjoy. Lake Taupo Water View Tongariro & Whakapapa Skiing

This treetops lakeview retreat is located on the South Western side of Lake Taupo. Tongariro Crossing, Mt Ruapehu Skifield, Turangi Adventure Tourism, hotpools, great bush walks and trout fishing are all within close proximity. Admire lake views and listen to birdsong from the treetops. Enjoy barista style coffee, grab a book and simply relax and enjoy the views from the expansive deck. At night, why not barbecue with drinks on the deck or in the winter, enjoy the ambience of the warm fire!

Located in a quiet grove, our home has a modern open plan living area which flows out to a large outdoor living area, featuring a private back yard with all day sun. Within walking distance there is a large lakefront reserve, cafe, tennis courts, kids playground and bush walks to explore. The supermarket is a 15 minute drive, general store 3 minute drive and 2 boat ramps just a minute away. Perfect base for Whakapapa ski field, Tongariro crossing and various mountain biking or walking tracks.

Tui Cabin

This container home is set in a private spot surrounded by native bush with a view of the mountain through the trees. The interior of the cabin consists of a separate bedroom with a queen size bed, a fully equipped kitchen, lounge and wood burner. The container has a cosy ambience with lots of light on a sunlit day. Large ranchsliders connect you to the natural world outside for hiking, kayaking, canoeing, skiing or mountain exploring. Walk across the road to dine or relax and cook at home.

Lochwood Ski and Summer Cottage

Lochwood is a light, spacious and warm retreat. Scandi, homely decor. A home-away-from home with a well-equipped kitchen, espresso machine, and tea and coffee facilities. A reserve and playground are across the road with a tennis court and basketball hoop 2 minutes walk away. The Motuoapa Marina and Liquorice cafe are nearby. Excellent access to Lake Taupo, Tongariro crossing, Whakapapa skifield, Tongariro River track and bike tracks, the western bays, thermal pools and Lake Rotopounamu.

Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Built in 2007, 45 minutes from Whakapapa skifield, close to numerous trout fishing rivers and 500m from the Motuoapa marina and boat ramp on Lake Taupo. There are 3 heat pumps and a gas fire for your comfort. Property is 30 minutes from Taupo nearer to Turangi (Airbnb show it on Taupo searches)
