車ですぐのところにコンビニやスーパーがあるなど、立地がよく、景色も良かったです。ホストさんもすごく丁寧に対応してくださり、安心感がありました。 室内にはユーカリの草や様々なゲームがあるなど、快適な空間で、過ごしやすかったです。 仲間とスノボ旅行で参加したのですが、大変楽しく過ごせました。

Six friends from Australia, were fortunate to stay at Rumi and Roberto wonderful B & B in the mountain slopes of Bessho onsen in the district of Ueda. 4 days of exploring the area, recommended eateries, onsons, galleries gave us an insight into a unique Japanese lifestyle. Friendly people made us feel welcome and we soon overcame the language differences by a mixture of hand signs and attempts at basic Japanese. The hospitality of Rumi and her recommended places to eat was outstanding. This has been a great start to journey in Japan. It has set the tone for the coming weeks. Thank you Rumi and Roberto.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that no detail had been overlooked—every comfort was thoughtfully provided, making us feel completely at home while immersed in the beauty of Japanese hospitality. The space itself exudes authentic charm, blending traditional aesthetics with all the modern conveniences one could need. After long days in the snow, returning to such a warm and inviting retreat was pure joy. Cam’s attentiveness and care were truly exceptional—always available to assist, yet never intrusive, ensuring that our experience was seamless and stress-free. If you’re looking for a stay that perfectly balances authenticity, and comfort, this is the place. We leave with full hearts and unforgettable memories—thank you, Cam, for making our time in Akakura so special!

Mooi groot huis op de heuvel. Steile helling. Groot terras, dat spoedig vernieuwd gaat worden, begrepen wij van Kim. Prachtig uitzicht. Heel rustig. Lekker ruim huis, voorzien van alle gemakken.

Masa was a very helpful host. He replies really fast and makes the effort to answer your questions thoroughly and makes sure your stay is as comfortable as possible!

Easy and convenient! Great location and easy walk to the main street of Echoland. Huge corridor/hallway perfect for all of our luggage so it didn’t clutter the rooms. Comfortable beds and really good showers. Thanks for hosting us David, it was a great stay!

We had a great stay at Omusubi. Ryuichi, as everyone else mentioned, is such a helpful and kind host who greeted us personally. He gave us great recommendations and is always responsive when we had questions. The place is a walk away from Cortina and a few mins drive from Norikura, so convenient for skiing. The whole unit is clean and spacious, and the heating is great! The only slightly downside is that the soundproofing isn’t so great, so you’d hear sounds from the next room and outside if there is significant noise. Thankfully the area doesn’t seem to be noisy so we weren’t too affected. Overall it is still an excellent option for the Hakuba area!

The host is friendly and helpful. The house is cosy, clean and well equipped. Checkin and checkout is very easy. Recommend for couple and groups 3-4 people.

Die Unterkunft ist sauber, einfach und ruhig. Sehr bequemes Bett. Die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind nicht direkt vor der Tür, aber die Bushaltestelle, die zu diesen führt, schon. Glendys hat mich persönlich begrüsst und mir einige Tipps gegeben. Das schätze ich sehr.

Our group really enjoyed staying at Lalala's place in Matsumoto, the living area space was nice to relax in, the toilet and bathroom space was private and spacious and the bedding arrangements worked for our group. The fact Lalala lecture us 4 bikes to take in the scenery in Matsumoto was the main unique benefit to staying. It enhanced our experience of Matsumoto instantly. would absolutely stay again!

Wow! One of the best staying. The house is very clean and well built. Morino is very proactive and helpful. The house has everything. Washing machine is good for drying clothes well.

I could not recommend Villa Monochrome enough! Yasue was so helpful the whole time of our stay, she picked us up and dropped us off at the bus terminal for arrival and departure and even drove us to get groceries. She was helpful during our stay and really made us feel at home. The accommodation was beautiful and well equipped and the location is fantastic for snowsports at Happo One. Will definitely be staying again! Special mention for the Kotatsu (heated) table. That was such a lovely treat after a day on the mountain. 10/10 for Villa Monochrome.
