Also, the perfect location to hang on the screen porch or relax in the shaded hammock.

“Mary" is a fully updated 1940’s beach cottage in the heart of Carolina Beach with room for 8 guests, 6 adults and 2 children. She has all the modern amenities and is a short walk to Carolina Beach Boardwalk and the Lake, known for lively, summer music, restaurants, bars, shopping, fireworks, and carnival rides! Beach access is less than 50 steps out the front door and across a quiet, one-way street. Out the back door, stroll down the block to the Lake for the Saturday Market or a family movie.

With the ICW in your back yard you can sit, fish on the longest pier on the island, work(if you must) with availability to charge devices or just relax and have a beverage watching the sun set. After a long day grab some takeout or cook in the fully furnished kitchen and dine on one of the tables outside or inside and watch the boats go by on the waterway.

Relax in this adorable newly renovated beach house that is just one block away from Oak Island's sand and surf. This house boasts a large screened porch with rocking chairs for relaxed lazy days and stargazing summer nights. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms are roomy. The living room boasts a large sectional with a pull-out Queen size bed. TVs are in the living room and in each bedroom. The house is pet friendly and has a fenced-in large back yard for games, grilling and picnics!

Though the bungalow contains one full bathroom you will likely enjoy the oversized outdoor shower under the towering majestic oak tree from which the cottage is named.

Includes large fenced in yard for fun with family and pet(s) along with outdoor shower. TVs (WiFi w/you tube tv) in living room and both bedrooms . No smoking on premises. Come enjoy the dog days of summer (or any season)! (House is on pilings so must be able to climb stairs)
