Quiet, clean and felt at home.

Very nice place internally, but the external entrance was quite a surprise. It was an outside wooden staircase with two levels. Since my husband has mobility and balance problems, it would have been nice to have this in the structure description or in a photo of the entrance. The location was easy to find and the scenery was beautiful.

This place was wonderful! It was clean, quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. It’s a great location right in town. I especially appreciated that they had a water filter. I highly recommend this place.

Had a great time staying with Dave and Valerie. They were very responsive, communicative, and helpful. They went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. For example, letting me borrow a vaporizer to help me sleep at night when I wasn't feeling well. They even came and picked me and helped me to recover my belongings after I was in a car accident. I hope to stay again in the future if business takes me their way.

Pros: Great value for the price! The cottage is very close to the docks and boat house where kayaks and canoes are stored, all complimentary with the Airbnb. 3 bedrooms available with comfortable beds. Basic kitchenware was included, but you should bring extra items if you want to do any specialty cooking (a wok for example). No television available, but it's perfect for a weekend getaway. Woods nearby have trails for hiking. Cons: Limited parking if you have a larger party. A maximum of 3 cars could park comfortably, 4 if you double park. Cell service was limited for most carriers. Verizon had 2-3 bars, Virgin Mobile had no service. Wifi is available, but it is limited as well (1-2 bars in most parts of the cottage). There is a road between the cottage and the lake, but it's only two lanes and can be easily crossed. Overall: Very good Airbnb for a weekend getaway! We housed 6 guys comfortably and are very likely to return for future visits. Would recommend.

The Daisy Barn is the place to stay. Hospitality as usual, exceptional!! Very well stocked and generous.

Very thankful for my stay here. Came to wait out a severe snow storm. Just when things looked bleak as all the hotels were sold out we found this place. A very cozy comfortable place to recoup after a long day.

This was a perfect stay for our group in town for a nearby wedding. The house had all we needed and we enjoyed the foggy lake in the mornings and fire pit in the evening. Laura was lovely to work with, responding quickly to any request or question from pre-booking through our stay. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Safri's home was the perfect place to stay. It was comfortable for my family, clean and super close to Downtown Ellicotville and Holiday Valley.

William Patrick bailed us out on very short notice after our accommodations for a week on the lake fell through. While not on the lake (clear that it wasn't in description), it was peaceful, beautiful, quick drive to beaches and overall a very nice place to spend our annual vacation.
