Close to the quaint fishing village of Appledore, with it’s bustling quayside and ferry across to Instow. A 10 minute walk to the coast path. The cottage is ideal for couples, families and friends any time of the year. Northam with it’s shops, fish & chips, Chinese take away, pub and restaurant, is a great base to explore the wonderful North Devon Coast.

This 200 year old barn has been lovingly renovated to create a modern, open plan apartment that provides spacious accommodation for two. Its whitewashed stone walls and bare timbers retain the charm of the original building and two full length windows open onto a private patio and garden and flood the apartment with sunlight. The Stables is a recently refurbished annexe in a quiet residential area. You will have the whole property to yourselves with a private outdoor area and parking on site. The accommodation sleeps up to 3 people with a main double bedroom and small double sofa bed in the living room. Bideford town centre is a 15 minute walk, while the pretty villages of Instow and Appledore, and the resort of Westward Ho! with its famous pebble ridge and sandy beach are all a few minutes drive/bus trip.

Woolstone Cottage is situated in the hillside village of Ashford with views over The River Taw. It is a 10 minute walk from The Tarka Trail with traffic free cycling, walking and running alongside the river. The trail connects to the market town of Barnstaple and the village of Braunton with its surf shops and cafes. The Heanton Court Inn is within walking distance along the trail. Saunton Sands beach is only a 15 minute drive with its three and half miles of golden sands and surf.

We hope its a perfect place to rest those sandy feet and unwind after a full day of sea air.
