Lovely few days stay, Hayley was very friendly and helpful. Cottage is stunning, much bigger than the photos show and had everything’s we needed. Beds very comfy and big en-suites in every room (although there was only 2 of us) secure garden for our two miniature dachshunds which was great. Location is very peaceful and quiet. Can recommend lunch at the Cumberland which was about a 10 minute walk away. Would definitely recommend this place.

Me and my group of 4 stayed in Jenson Cottage & we absolutely loved every second! We decided to go here for a late birthday weekend away & York town was about a twenty minute taxi away where we spent Friday evening. The host’s were amazing - we had a minor problem with working the barbecue on our second day as it was our first time and the host came to help us straight away, we also got lost as it’s no where near our local area and the host was able to direct us straight to the location. we have made incredible memories and this lodge is fantastic value and somewhere that we will definitely be coming back.

3 Railway Cottage is a fantastic base to explore the amazing beauty of North Yorkshire. The cottage is located a 20 minute walk from the centre of Pickering but is in a really quiet and private location. The only exception of course is the opportunity to wave at the heritage railway trains that pass at the back of the cottage a few times a day which is really amazing, especially if you wave from the comfort of the hot tub! I can’t recommend this location highly enough, it is a really comfortable and well equipped cottage in a fantastic location - what more could you ask for?

fantastic stay with our 2 teenagers, 2 kids and 2 dogs. everyone loved it! Check the add on costs before you book as I didn't read the extra hot tub fee until I was told on the day, worth it though, the hot tub is huge!

We stayed with our children age 5, 10, 12 and dog. Hot tub, river and garden were perfect for us. The accommodation was spotless and peaceful with beautiful views. A morning brew on the balcony watching the rabbits, river and lambs was lovely. Great equipped kitchen. Also great to drive out to lovely local places for the day. I could not recommend this place enough. Phil our host was helpful and responsive. Don’t overlook this place it’s a gem .

We had a fab 2 night stay at Scarlett’s place! The cottage itself was lovely and cosy , had everything we needed and was clean! The bed was extremely comfortable! The hot tub was great it was really nice to enjoy our anniversary weekend away! We were able to order a take away through just eat on our first night and then ate food at the travellers rest on the Sunday and Arthur’s for breakfast today! Scarlett was a great host and even messaged early to say we could check in! Will definitely return 😊

Loved our two night stay in Stanley Cottage. Great parking to rear of the cottage. Lovely wee touches like, bread, prosecco, milk, orange juice and biscuits. Ben was great and will return when back down in that area.

We had a really nice stay. The cottage was lovely and well kept with great shower facilities and little touches including a welcome pack of local produce. Sharon came to clean the hot tub each morning with the filter being changed between guests, bbq area (with large disposable BBQ to use, birds singing in a sheltered garden. Bathroom and hot tub towels provided, washing machine and tumble dryer easy to use. The beds were comfy and blackout blinds in all rooms. Beautiful surroundings; able to walk 30 minutes to an ice cream farm with play area or drive 5 minutes to Lowther castle

A wonderful cottage in a fabulous location. Fizz, fresh bread and homemade jam to greet us. Lovely warm and surprisingly large cottage with a gorgeous view of the ford. Great walks straight from the door with wildlife aplenty (sadly no red squirrels but our host did point us to a hotel where we managed to see them). All in all, a cracking place to stay.

A really lovely stay! Such a gorgeous cottage in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Great walks and outdoor activities and cafes nearby and a short drive to a variety of villages / towns. Everything you need in the house and a great garden for a dog too :) thanks Helen xx

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Emma's place. The secure garden was great for our dog to roam whilst we relaxed in the hot tub at the end of the day following plenty of walking around the Lakes. The cottage itself has loads of character but everything you need for your stay. We were fortunate to have the weather to make use of the gas BBQ. Emma was very welcoming and chilled with the fact we had a good run up and arrived half an hour before check-in time. Nothing was too much trouble and the fresh eggs were delicious! The cottage is just a 10 minute drive from Windermere, (20 minutes to Ambleside, 30 minutes to Grizedale forest), so whilst it's not in the throng of all us tourists, we benefited from the peace and quiet when we wanted it, but nothing was too far away. We'd also highly recommend the fish and chip shop in Staveley, just a 4 minute drive down the road. Hopefully we'll be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. peaceful surroundings, lovely helpful neighbours, close walk to the 2 pubs which serve good food, Co op very close by. We came by train and everything was easily accessible to visit Malham, Skipton and surrounding areas. The cottage was very clean and had all the amenities you would need., very comfortable beds., couldn't fault the accommodation Lovely garden overlooking the river, we enjoyed sitting in the garden and hearing the birds and seeing people walking along the other side of the river. I am a retired travel consultant , have been to many properties worldwide and can honestly say this cottage and location is worth visiting. Thank you, Jeremy and Jaqui

Lovely accommodation and very comfortable. Everything was in the cottage that you’d need. Excellent location, could walk to the town in 2 minutes and really lovely wee town. Bus services good to local towns/villages so was good to have some time without driving. Did drive to a lovely seaside village, about 30 minutes drive, called Sandsend. Overall, excellent stay here.

This is a cottage of character with its expensive fittings and fixings. A superb place to stay. So homely yet so thoroughly good. I couldn't recommend this place more highly. It has everything for a brilliant stay with added extras in the kitchen and welcoming food stuffs which helped to make our stay that much more special. Even everything needed to accommodate my pet. Superby located in this tranquil village. This is certainly 5 star accommodation.

We had a really lovely stay at Curlew Cottage for my husbands 40th birthday weekend. It was a great base to explore the surrounding area as we are into our walks. The house itself was beautifully presented, spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. The setting was very peaceful with beautiful views all around. We spotted lots of wildlife which was lovely. We would highly recommend and hope to visit again in the future.

Catherine is an excellent host, great communication and keen that everything is ok, quick response to queries raised. lovely welcome touch, of milk, cereal, bread, pastries, fruit juice jam, butter and apples and a supply of tea and coffee. Lovely compact cottage with a good kitchen, with a dishwasher and microwave. peaceful and quiet, away from everything but only a short drive in to Kendal

We had the most enjoyable experience staying at Sara’s beautiful & cosy cottage. It was in the perfect location with easy walking distance into Town and only a short drive to Windermere & Ambleside. Peaceful cottage in a central location. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided by the host and Sara was available to answer our questions promptly. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay and for the biscuits and mint chocs too. My daughter loved it too x

The cottage is beautiful, peacefully located in the farm yet very easily approachable. It has everything you'll need for your stay. Best part of the cottage is many windows, the are numerous windows and each one is giving beautiful view of outside farm, courtyard or sky. Rach is lovely and very helpful, would definitely recommend this to everyone.

We only stayed 2 nights but thoroughly enjoyed short our stay here. The cottage is a lovely cosy place to stay. There was a nice assortment of supplied goodies we found on check in. The cottage is only a short walk from local pubs and restaurants. We used the Nameste Bengal Indian restaurant and the Black Swan pub for dinner. Both were very nice and good food. The service at the Indian was excellent so give it a try. We would definitely stay here again and recommend the cottage.

The Vault is the perfect place to stay while visiting Hexham. It really was a home from home. Super clean, cosy and a great location. Alex was a great, friendly host. Can’t recommend Alex and The Vault highly enough. Thank you Alex

Perfect spot for long weekend , cosy & comfortable accommodation and food in the adjoining Pheasant Inn was outstanding. Peter was fab dealing with any issues and great communication throughout. We appreciated the breakfast goodies of milk, juice, tea , coffee and cereals . Some noise from the pub in the evening but that was expected and certainly didn’t affect our enjoyment of staying!
