Halfway between Newberry College and the Newberry Opera house, the Johnstone-Rutherford Cottage places you within a 10 minute walk or less of either the main college campus or the opera house. The cottage is part of the Johnstone-Rutherford House complex built by the renowned builder Cam Davis, known for his historic homes here in Newberry and his work at the Biltmore Mansion in Asheville, NC. The cottage has been updated providing historic old world charm with a touch of modern convenience.

Our place is unlike any other on the lake! The home is fully stocked and includes kayaks, pedal boat and lilly pad for your enjoyment. We have a dock and firepit. You will have no need to go anywhere else while you are here, as Camp Q has so many things to offer. The outside kitchen has 2 grills and a fridge. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space, and the ambiance. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets).

Ryan and I are certain you will love Newberry's friendly "small town" atmosphere. Our home was built in the late 1800's. It provides visitors with an eclectic blend of "old house" charm and modern updates within walking distance to the Newberry Opera House and wonderful downtown restaurants. The house features over 3,600 square feet of high ceilings, heavy pocket doors for privacy, three fireplaces, four bedrooms with three queen and two twin beds, 3.5 baths..and a wonderful front porch.

If you’re looking for a relaxing stay to visit Newberry ( we are about 7 mile from downtown ) about 5 mile off I26. Our home is extremely clean. We take pride in giving our guests a comfortable stay. Comfortable furniture and beds. Nothing fancy, but good quality sheets and towels. Plenty of nice pots and pans , fully furnished kitchen. We are on a quiet dead end road. Extremely safe. We offer plenty of options in our tv package. Excellent WiFi , high speed internet.

You can sit on the dock & watch the sun set or take your boat out just a few hundred yards to watch the sun rise. This location is great for swimming & a dock is available so you can bring your boat. There is also great fishing from the dock and on a boat. This will provide an unforgettable vacation!
