Pura Vida - Great host and location. Walkable to the beach and several restaurants. Calm oasis in the back yard, where we could see Tucans, howler monkeys and an array of birds! Host is very responsive and we also appreciated having air conditioning as well as a washer / dryer. Uvita is a great place to visit with a ton of fun activities, and having the small pool onsite was really nice to escape the hot midday sun. The full kitchen is also a bonus. Modern, easy - with good WiFi and a good host. The howler moneys did wake us up in the morning, but that was actually pretty cool alarm clock - although they sounded like a sick dog!!! We stayed at 3 places, all of which said you’d see moneys, never saw any and we saw them all from the comfort of the shaded porch here.

Chris and Kristen are such amazing hosts! They are kind, attentive and communicate very well. They have an amazing guide book that could answer almost every question you have about traveling here and if it doesn’t, they respond quickly if you text them. The property itself is so beautiful. Their garden of plants and trees is captivating and with the river flowing behind it all, it’s like you have your own little sanctuary. The pictures can’t do it justice. My room was clean and there’s a good bit of open space which I liked. My stay here was so magical and I’ll never forget it. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The house is beautiful and very nice, an absolute pleasure. It was a bit far away from Jacó, which is what I was going for since I wanted the opportunity to view wildlife. There is a bus stop at the end of the road, which is walkable if you are fit. Uber costs about $7.00 to downtown. The host was nice and reasonable. However, I did have to request directions the morning of check-in, instead of receiving them automatically. And I received a message after 4:00 pm (check-in time) available for early check-in. It would have been nice to know we could check-in early because we took the bus to downtown Jacó with our backpacks and had to walk around and go to dinner with our stuff instead of being able to drop it off at the house first. The host also recommended that we go to a nearby river and pack a picnic because the river is beautiful. But it was only a dry riverbed. This made me think that the host isn't local and doesn't know the area. Also the stove did not work, so we could not cook.

Mais disons que je ne passerais pas des vacances a cet endroit mais cest super pour couper la route entre deux destinations. Lilliam est tres gentille et repond tres rapidement. Eight of us stayed at Casa de Luna 3/22/25 for five days. We were ALL happy with the home we stayed in, its surroundings, so quiet. It seems the only sounds heard were from the wildlife. Lots of wildlife that we wouldn’t typically see in our home state of Florida. The house is stunning! I had Literal Tears come to my eyes when I walked in. We suggest hiring Chef Manuel that the mgmt company recommends. Oh my gosh, this young man has the whole world to conquer. He’s starting with Costa Rica. First time any of us hired a personal chef. Do it! You don’t hear airplanes, or cars at this home. We do recommend the affordable private air charter from San Jose to Quepos. Along with asking the mgmt company to set up transportation for you, anywhere. All of us decided we would definitely return to Costa Rica and use OSA prop mgmt. The people are happy, the country is nothing just gorgeous, and we have so much more to see in CR. I’m telling ya, Book this place. We had an amazing time!

The villas are stunning, with breathtaking views that make you feel at peace. The accommodation is impeccable, and the food is out of this world—fresh, healthy, and absolutely delicious. The location is perfect, perched on top of a mountain with easy access to the nearby town and countless outdoor activities just minutes away. I can’t wait to come back and spend a few more relaxing days in this magical place. Highly recommend!

I had a great 2.5 week stay here! The house is in a very quiet area. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the beach and a few restaurants and grocery store right near the beach. The wifi worked perfectly for remote work. Luis and Ana were responsive for any problems that arose. Kitchen was well stocked with great amenities. The ac wasn’t very strong and I had to be in the house quite a bit during the day for working, but it was perfect for the morning and evening temperatures.

Nice, cozy space. Francisco is very kind and hospitable. Great communication.

This was my second stay in Gustavo's place. Gustavo is an amazing host, and one of the best hosts that I've experienced on Airbnb. He is very responsive, and provides many toiletries that other places did not provide. The apartment is big, clean and has an amazing view. The apartment is in a good location and has many things that are walkable. I would definitely stay in Gustavo's place again.

This property was beautiful and clean, I loved the back porch with the pool and ocean view. The location was easy to get to, and the property was securely gated with plenty of parking space. The inside is gorgeous with a well equipped kitchen, very spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and a big living room area. A big plus was that we had access to the Crocs hotel next door, with access to all the pools and restaurants. We especially loved seeing the macaws all around the property! Would highly recommend staying here if you are going to vacation in this area.

I just needed a quick and easy one night stay. It was easy to find and easy to get in. I got a hair cut just around the corner, had a wonder night sleep and a nice shower. The place was easy to access. Also the rain sounds on the roof were very soothing for my night sleep.

Ruth and Andrea are absolutely wonderful hosts, very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and activities. The bed is super comfy, and you get to wake up with a breathtaking view. It’s one of the highlights of our trip! I hope to be back one day!

Diese Unterkunft war sehr besonders, vor allem wegen der netten Gastfreundschaft von Nano (Orlandos Vater). Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und wirklich einen Freund dazu gewonnen. Die Unterkunft ist etwas einfacher und rustikaler, aber bietet alles was man braucht. Gemütliches Ambiente, tolle Aussicht. Nano bereitete uns für einen Aufpreis ein leckeres Frühstück und Abendessen zu. Wir waren vom Essen und den tollen Gesprächen begeistert. Absolut zu empfehlen.

The place is amazing, is a resort next to the beach with a private road to it. The staff is GREAT, the common areas are awesome, and is relatively close to the things you can do in Manuel Antonio, I would say that if you are looking for a nature retreat PLEASE BOOK THIS HOTEL, is surrounded by beautiful fauna and the views are just great. Only thing is that the host doesn't respond or give indications to get to the place I guided myself thanks to a comment that said the name "Shana by the beach" you can just google it and the gps will take you there.

We stayed two nights at Beso del Viento and enjoyed every minute of it. Everything is spotlessly clean, the rooms are nicely decorated and the pool and garden area are very pretty. We saw a lot of wild life in the garden as well (a monkey, lots of iguanas, birds and aras flying over it). The house is only a few steps away from a beautiful beach which also was a lot less crowded than the surrounding beaches. The included breakfast was very good as well and Bernard and his wife made us feel welcomed. Highly recommended!

This place is a great find and an amazing location for the park, we loved seeing the wildlife in the garden and relaxing by the pool too. The staff were really friendly and helpful with parking and the bags. The breakfast was delicious and generous. Overall, this was great value and I would recommend.

When we come to San Jose, we will absolutely stay here again! Over and over! There’s no simple words to express how welcomed and cared for we felt our entire stay. This place to stay was better than a hotel and honestly any Airbnb! Diego and his staff went completely out of their way to help us in every way. The staff was amazing and got to meet his precious wife the last morning as they accommodated our early check out. When we left I felt like we were leaving family.

A great place to stay, conveniently located in Escazu. Clean, quiet at night and if you like pupusas, you’re in luck! The owners are from El Salvador so pupusas are included with breakfast! 5 stars!
